I've always loved these devs who developed high quality games. But recently, it seemed like the same old thing, story rehashed time and time again. But they've hit their stride and got their mojo back with this one! This game sucked me in after the first 5 minutes! It has that crazy "creep" factor and makes you feel like you're right there in the game. The HO's have a new twist to them, plus some new games. The challenge level is just right. The only downside is that it's hard to find the moths and cassettes. I got so engrossed in the game, I forgot to look for them anyway. I highly recommend this game! It's a winner! Give the devs a bonus!

The demo sucked me in so I went ahead and purchased the game. You know the story...husband goes missing after finding artifact, wife goes to find him in creepy town with a creepy past. Been there...done that. However, I found the HO scenes and puzzles fun! There's enough to do, but I will admit I would never think to use a wedge of cheese to plug a hole in a frying pan! That stumped me for a minute! I found the graphics to be a little murky and dark, but okay. VO's and music were okay too!
I recommend this game!

Due to having a credit you can only use on standard games, I found this one. I loved the storyline, voice overs and game play which I thought was original. The game was longer than I expected too! The graphics were okay; not as crisp as other HO's, but that's very minor compared to everything else. Great fun!
I recommend this game!
While visiting your uncle, you stumble upon a curious case. Men are vanishing, reappearing dead days later. Who killed them?

I can't recall the last time I left a bad review on a HO game. I just didn't care for this game. I skipped almost all the puzzles, something I never do, and one puzzle was a game of chess! I don't even know how to play chess! The storyline was ok, characters unlikable, graphics were ok. Pass on this one....
I don't recommend this game.

Elephant Games strikes again! OMG! I was hooked in the first 10-15 minutes of playing this game. I'm submitting this review with just playing about for an 1 hour. The graphics and jump scares makes the game for me. Also, the kid peeping through the hint keyhole did for me also. I love this game. The graphics, storyline and creepy crawlies are the best! The games are not too hard; just challenging enough for me and the storyline flow is perfect. Whoever's in charge needs to give the devs a bonus! They deserve it!

I was mesmerized by this game right out of the gate! The storyline was what caught my attention, and had just the right amount of spookiness and creepiness without totally freaking me out. I loved the puzzles, gameplay and the VO's were great, graphics crisp and clear. I've been a BF member for years and the HO's are my favorite and Bonfire Stories ranks right up there with the Ravenhurst series. I hope they make a series out of this one too! Happy gaming....!

I absolutely loved playing this game! I couldn't decide which I liked the best, the gameplay, graphics, puzzles, or the soundtrack. I played with headphones this time and I got totally immersed in the game and didn't realize I was playing for hours. I'm not a fan of morphing objects, but I actually enjoyed searching for them in this game (a first for me)! Some of the puzzles were easy, some were difficult. The guide was helpful as I got stuck a couple of times. Love the achievements....didn't realize I did as well as I did in this game. Everything about this game, screams "Game of the Year". Epix devs does it again......I can't recommend this game enough.

I've been a BF fan for a quite some time and have played many of their games. After a while you get kind of tired of playing the same "type" of HO game and you begin to crave for something new and different within the genre. When I saw this game, I read the reviews and realized this is the 2nd installment of The Maze, the game with the crazy little girl. I remembered playing that game and absolutely loved it so I immediately got excited and downloaded this game. The game play is absolutely amazing, the HO's are a change of pace, quite different. The puzzles are challenging, the storyline made sense, VO's are great, game length just right. Everything about this game was on point. Way to go devs, you rocked with this one. I highly recommend it.

Another winner! I was looking for something different and found it in this game. The storyline was awesome, live actors, music, HO games, puzzles and their level of challenge was just right for me. It had just a hint of creepy and scary (the scarecrow and and basement scenes), but not overall. I really enjoyed playing this game! The devs did a great job and would love to see more games like this one. I especially liked the HO games with the interactive play.
I recommend this game!
From the makers of the Rite of Passage series comes a ground-breaking new series that's as creepy as it gets.

It's been a while since I posted a review. I've grown tired of the majority of these HO games since they all have the same storyline, villains, etc...until this game came along. After reading the reviews I decided to download it to see what all the hoopla was about. It's an awesome game and, to my surprise, pretty darn good! It's part Saw, part Silent Hill, part Fear Factor and is a little creepy and spooky. You have options on how you want to proceed in the game. What's your greatest fear- claustrophobia, the dark, being injured? The HO scenes are great, the mini games aren't too challenging but just right for me as I don't like to spend too much time on solving puzzles. If you're looking for a change of pace in an HO game that's really creepy, with jump scares, play this one.
I recommend this game!
