I'm burnt out on HOG games, though I do like strictly adventure games, but does not seem like any are coming out. All the HOG games are becoming the same, unlocking doors, chests, finding keys, etc etc. I finally switched to Match 3 games. I like games that you do not have to go against a timer -- relaxed. You can do that in this game. You do build the Egyptian type city, but it's fun. I don't like Sim games, but this does show the little characters building, but you earn, food, supplies, etc., through playing Match 3 levels. You are given items as you earn through the game like an ax to punch where you can have more items fall. I have really started liking Match 3 games, and this has been one of my favorites. I also liked Cave Quest. Just finished it before this one. I went through all the forums and read about all the games before I decided on Cradle of Egypt. I believe I tried the Jewel Quest, Sapphire Dragon, but if I recall correctly it was a timed game, so I did not want to play it. If you like Match 3 games with a little interaction this game was fun. After this one I'm going to try to find another one like it. Also as with all the games, I turn the music down. I like sound effects but just a hint of music in the background.

I've never played on the Azada games. After reading the reviews, I downloaded the demo. After 25 minutes of playing, I purchased it. I really liked this game. You have to like Adventure games, which I do. You collect inventory items, and then use them elsewhere. I get burnt out on Hidden Object games all the time. This time I'm having fun figuring out what to do, where to go, the beginning has not been difficult, and I was actually able to play 2 mini games and solve without cheating. I have not had to do a lot of running around, though you do go back and forth to collect and use items. I turned the music way down. I just don't care for music in games. The best I remember there were 3 versions of play, easy, Intermediate, and one that is more challenging for experts. I did not play the expert level, as I'm not always good at solving things, etc., and like to be able to do on my own without always having to look up in the Strategy Guide what to do next. But it is nice to have if you need it. Again, I think if you like Adventure, versus strictly Hidden Object you will like this game. Oh, and it did have voice overs. It seems to be a long game, but I don't know for sure. I look at it as games used to cost around $50 and you had to go to the store to buy, so to me it's a deal whether it's $6.99 or $13.99, if I like the game, and I do like this one. I have learned always play the demo first though.
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.
I was sent the game for BETA testing. I really liked the game -- BUT -- I found morphing unusual. Maybe it is me and I'm not used to it. But I wrote in my review of the game that I thought it would be good for testing for a driver's license for peripherial vision. I had a hard time spotting the weak flashing areas. I had to constantly stare at the hidden object screen to try to catch the item flashing. I did like the game, and it own't keep me from buying it, but I think I prefer Hidden Objects versus little tiny areas flashing that to me were hard to catch. I had to keep using the hint. But I do plan to buy the game.
