I usually wait for the SE, but not on this one. I don't demo. I just buy. I've never been disappointed and this is no exception. Time travel! Fix the present in the past. Paradoxes are a family's best friend. This may not be the best of the series, but it was enjoyable all the way through. I'm tired of horror, but it's the easiest thing to write, so we get the same evil being trying to steal souls etc.in one game after another. This series has left that and I truly appreciate the creative effort. Just a reminder, the baton and the skull were passed. Anna is not Richard's daughter. Richard may have taken Mike's memory of traveling in time, but I think the dev now has a time-traveling relative in reserve. We shall see and I'll definitely be watching.
I recommend this game!

I am so tired of goth ghoulie games called "paranormal." I've got a couple hundred games and this is the first review. This game was fun. Really liked the characters and dialog, very realistic. I'm a writer. I play games for a creative brain break. I remember great lines from this one.The voice acting is terrific. "Now I'm a wanted criminal, Mom and Dad would be so proud." "I'm an FBI agent. If I can't, don't laugh." The kid is great. He's a bit young for nine at the beginning, but 'grows' well. This has the components of a good character-driven story.
I recommend this game!

Dear MadHead, MORE! This is my first review, of hundreds of games over the years. I'm an adventure-HO player, who plays for the story. This game plays 'intuitively' superbly and these old eyes could see everything. I really liked the GPS and contact with the police. To me, it was more realistic, when the detective is encountering bodies. Quite honestly, this story was so interesting, I skipped some puzzles that were going to take time. I'll get them next time I play it, soon. It's that good.
I recommend this game!
