This is not your everyday horror hidden object game. Witches' Legacy reminds me a little of the Drawn series as the art is really beautiful. The lands are amazing. The music is pretty good - I think I'll buy the rest of the series.
I always look for the new MCF as they are the standard in good mystery/hidden object games. This game incorporates some of the MCF music from previous games, which is great. The story is interesting enough to keep the player's attention, the puzzles are fun, and the game is very atmospheric with the blowing wind and cold. I highly recommend it.
This is a long game, and the scenery is reminiscent of the first Madame Fate games. As such, the game is very immersive. There aren't as many object finding episodes as are usual in the MCF games, but they are there, and the puzzles were enough to keep me very interested. It's just really beautiful, the music is great, and again draws on the old MCF tunes. I give it three thumbs up; if you like MCF, don't pass on this one.
I gave the visual/sound factor a 4 as the first Phantasmat had creeper (better) music. The visual aspect will probably not disappoint. The story line is similar to the original (sorry, no spoilers here). Whether or not to pay the extra cash for the collectors edition; it's fun, but you don't get twice as much fun for twice as much money, and it doesn't resolve much, but It's interesting. This version is good especially if you've played the first.
The residents of Bitterford, Maine have fallen prey to a terrible curse. It’s up to you to unravel the series of mysterious events that led to the town’s downfall and uncover the evil that was responsible.
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.
This is probably the best MCF so far; probably one of the best hidden objects and adventure games I've played also. WOW. It starts off a bit slow but soon turns into a freaky roller coaster ride. Go for the collectors edition on this one.
