This game has no planet or loved ones who need saving from ghosts, werewolves or an undead madman. No one is on a deserted island where I have to hunt for tiny objects in an untidy pile during a heavy rainstorm. For those who only enjoy the above, Murder on the Titanic will seem rather boring, I'm sure. However, I liked the brightly lit scenes, the early 20th century atmosphere, and the idea of having nothing more dangerous than a murderer prowling about the great ship. The HO scenes were do-able, the text was kept to a minimum, just enough to keep the story moving, and the mini-games were different and a bit challenging. All in all, it was interesting (to me) without being intensely drama-laden.
I recommend this game!

Finished the demo in casual mode; this game is NOT adventure-type (ie., not exciting), nor is it creepy or dark. There are lots of puzzles, and overall the game is thought-provoking and well thought-out, with an unusual story line. However, the HO's are SO tiny and well-hidden and the backtracking so constant that the game became a nuisance for me. Overall, while it might be a hit for some, for me it was worth a DD, but not full price. Strongly suggest trial before purchase.

Different age groups react differently; as an older woman I thought this game was perfect. The HOG items were very cleverly hidden, the Journal was thorough and gave important clues, there was a walkthrough in Q&A form, and best of all, the map of London gave you instant access to any locale. I enjoyed the history notes, and the fact that I had to think about what to do next. Best of all, no ghosts or ghouls or creepiness. IMHO, there's too much of that already!
I recommend this game!

Mystery Case Files: 13th Skull
Help Sara find her missing husband and stop an evil pirate's ancient curse in Mystery Case Files: 13th Skull!
A "who done it" mystery, flavored with real Bayou scenes. I love all the Mystery Case File games, and this one is just as good as the others. The game play is interesting and challenging, and the game lasts a good while. What more could I want?
