The best there is! It has so many options, size, arrangements, etc. The best part is that you can upload your own photos or whatever graphic you may find online. The only criteria is that it must be a larger than a defined size (don't remember now what it is.) The possibilities are endless.
It wasn't a bad game, certainly no surprises or anything new. Predictable storyline. Graphics good, not spectacular. Not difficult, it actually became pretty monotonous about 3/4 of the way through. Far too many HO scenes for my taste. Good game for beginners though.
Discover the city of Apothecarium, where inhabitants are caught in a perilous struggle against a powerful alchemist who is taking the lives of innocent!
I have to agree with the "low-stars." The story isn't usually important to me, I play mostly for the challenge/games. In this game I think the games might have been good but this made no sense in any category. Things change and you have no clue who/what/where. You're in one location and you click on "something" (you never know exactly what) and suddenly you're in a completely foreign and seemingly unrelated location. No clue what to do. I didn't get beyond the trial but for me, that either makes or breaks it. Sorry, I'll pass.
I liked this game to begin with, but then I found I couldn't go forward without collecting ALL the coins. I spent all my time just looking for them and it became tedious. I quit about a quarter of the way through. Sorry.
Some people like this aspect. I recommend the game only if seeking lots and lots of tiny coins doesn't bother you. You cannot go ahead without them.
A murderous figure in a red mask haunts the streets of a small French town, and the mayor needs your help to track him down. But you soon discover that the mysterious Red Masque might not be the real criminal…
I admit, I didn't get very far in the demo but, too many "gadgets" for me. Some may like these additions, I do not. You have a camera to take photos. Not sure how you decide exactly when. You have a scale to determine justice, who's the guilty party. Really? You have a link to your office to see your photos and you have the option of deleting them there. That link I might add, is sometimes in the way. You have to be careful to avoid when you're searching HO scenes. I do like the artwork and the story, it might have been interesting. I'll never know will I?
I can't comment on much of the game as I didn't get very far. I did like the looks of it, and was ready to buy but once I realized there was a click penalty, I was done.
I don't buy games with click penalty, however great they may be. This one not only stops you, but warns you "Don't guess!" What? I find it extremely annoying and don't see a logical reason for it.Sorry.
I like the idea of it, but it is so simplistic as to be insulting. Reminds me of a toddler's wooden block puzzle. After you've done one or two limited piece "puzzles"...you're DONE! After that it just repeats the same thing only with different patterns.
I'll admit right off that I didn't stay with the trial very long so some will not consider it a fair test . However, I think that in itself is a "statement." I couldn't stand the baby-voiced ghost flitting around and the constant pop-ups like "my books are messy" or I'm proud of that award". Very distracting and unnecessary. Sorry, not for me, even at DD price!
I stumbled onto Big Fish while looking for "I Spy" types of games for my grandchildren. This was the first game I tried, and I was hooked. The graphics are spectacular and the music fitting. The story isn't that important to me, but in my mind, it fit the game perfectly. The difficulty was just right, challenging enough but not frustrating. I enjoyed the game then, as I still do now, It's a keeper.
