To say the game has not aged well is an understatement. Horrible, non-intuitive controls. Single worst download I've made off of Big Fish. Do *not* waste your time.
The music alone, to me, is worth the purchase. If you liked Enya back in the day, you will *love* this piano soundtrack.
The slider-puzzles in the game vary; some are easy, but some are head-scratching. You have to really understand how sliders work, in order to get 3 stars on every level. And THEN there are the clues in the room, beginning to unlock, to tell the whole story behind it all.
Overall, a very human work of art, more so than even its worth as a game. Not everyone plays for those reasons, and those in search of a fast puzzle-clicker may see it as 'meh' ... but it is much more than that, IMHO. Bought it. Very, very happy with the purchase. Over the past six years, I've purchased literally dozens of games from BF ... and games like this one, don't come around very often. :-)
I recommend this game!

Hidden Object Games are usually not my thing. If you absolutely *hate* H.O.G.'s, you won't see the point in this one (a few negative reviews bear witness to that). That said, I decided to try this one because I'm already a big fan of the television show 'Castle'. I wasn't disappointed :-)
There are a few plot contrivances you wouldn't find on the actual show, but by and large this game stayed true to the established characters. The hidden object scenes were not super-easy, but not super-difficult either. Actually, more time is spent on (more than 20) puzzles than on hidden objects in this game. One or two of the puzzles really took me some time to work out.
It lasts a good long time (took parts of two days for me to complete) and is enjoyable overall. Glad I purchased, and it's a five-star game for me :-)

I played the entire hour's demo, by which time I had literally done everything the game had to offer; all upgrades, maxed screens, personnel, etc. ... once you do that, it's only a matter of clicking until you reach your in-game money goal.
It's a cute game, and fun for the first 30 minutes or so ... but it's just far too short, and doesn't offer me replay-ability. Do yourself a favor and get the demo (it's quite a small file), before deciding to spend anything on it.

If you like interesting story-lines, this one has that in spades. Follow your family tree through each successive generation of struggle, heartbreak (one of my characters got abruptly killed in a war), and ultimately, success - that's measured not only by an individual's accomplishments, but also by how well the next generation is trained and ready to take their place.
I really haven't seen anything else like this. I've played it for an entire afternoon now, and still only gotten to the second 'Age' - but I'm hooked now - I really love the design. Something this different won't be for everyone - but if you're interested in something different from the normal strategy games, with an excellent storyline, this one's probably for you!
Very cute game. :-) That said, I beat all 40 levels in about five hours. Only two of the 40 levels required re-runs in order to max the score. I'm decent, but I'm not the world's greatest Time Management player. Level of difficulty is my only real complaint.
(note: the designers' first language isn't English, and that's fine ... gives the level-intro dialogue kind of an 'anime' quality. And the intro to level 19 made me laugh out loud for about two minutes, lol).
Enjoy the game! Worth the money, despite the few quibbles noted above. It's fun.
