Halfway through the demo. I have all six previous ones and have played them many times. This one has the same quality as the other ones. At times mosaics can be frustrating, cause I always want a perfect result. But that's all part of the fun. This will certainly be a buy for me at the next sale.
A CE? NO! Only one play mode. HOP after HOP after HOP. Endless. The HOP's are really bad: Tiny object in a totally cluttered scene. Unplayable. At least you can skip them. That is the only redeeming feature. A waste of money.
I really loved the previous games and I replayed them many times. I do not think I will ever finish this one. It is so boring. No thought involved. Just keep making combination after combination after combination... Until finally a power up appears. For power ups that require a combination of five it is the same. You plan a move that will drop five of the special chips in a line. NO! they just disappear. Very disappointing. Please devs make number 15 fun again.
Based on the Demo. This review is mostly about how long the game is.
This is the first "adventure" game that I found playable.
I finished the demo in 33 minutes. A video walkthrough showed me that the demo ends at 1/3 of episode 1. So for me the whole game would probably take 7 to 8 hours. Great value for a SE!
My single gripe is that it can only be played full screen. I always play games in windowed mode so I can view the clock. I deduct 0.49 stars for this.
