I have gotten fairly tired of hidden object games with puzzles that are repeated from game to game. Not only was this an interesting plot line (serial killer!) but there were infrequent hidden object puzzles and even those differed from each other. In addition, the puzzles throughout the game were unusual and some quite challenging. I rarely skip any puzzle and a few were just too complicated for me (even with the availability of the walk through). I definitely would recommend this game: kept my attention and challenged my brain.
The Brothers Grimm have assigned the task of revealing the truth behind missing children in the town of Arbourshire; it is up to you to discover the secrets of the Fairy Tale Mystery, before it is too late.
I liked the story line, but the puzzles were too simple--really no challenge at all. I finished the game because it was short, but definitely not worth the money.
In general, I have gotten tired of hidden object games with the same old types of puzzles. I found this one distinct in that it had more complex puzzles with less direction & fewer HO scenes. It has been quite a while (since the Drawn series) that I have found myself eager to have time to return to playing a game. I hope that there will be more that have this level of creative & truly "puzzling" puzzles. I am happy to spend the money for a unique experience.
the Drawn series is my favorite of all the adventure/ hidden object games I have played. I love the visuals, the music & fairytale atmosphere. I hope there are more to come!
