I'm sad to not write a glowing review on this game, but in my opinion, it didn't earn it. As far as mosaic games go, it was fine. There were plenty of levels, and many quite challenging. I have two "beefs" with it though: The "picker" couldn't be changed by left-clicking (no big deal to some, but it really drops the speed factor); and, the BIG one: you couldn't turn off the sound in the game! (that's a problem when you want to leave the game up while working with something else.)
I'm hoping there will be another Arizona Rose and the Pirate Adventure (I think that's the one...) again.
I recommend this game!

As my title says: it was refreshing to play such an interesting array of mini-games that didn't result in someone getting killed. Some of them took me forever to figure out because most didn't have directions, and at the end I had to consult a walkthrough!!!
I will say this is a fun game for all levels, and definitely good for family.
I recommend this game!

This is not like the straight-forward Hidden Object Adventure type game most of us here know. Instead of following a story with HO games, with a few other types thrown in, Nevertales is a string of *games* with a bit of *story* thrown in. I never was one to follow the stories closely, but having a story line makes it easier to know where to go next. I found many of the games different and *very* clever. And, even those familiar games were cleverly set up. (don't ask me which--I forgot!!)
It is a LONG game and very worth the $$ for the CE. The drawings are crisp and colorful. (I don't keep the volume on.)
The only**real**gripe I have with Nevertales---and this is why I say it is "unfairly" difficult: Several hidden objects were **truly** hidden--like behind a wall, or curtain, or other places that were NOT in any way intuitive--in no way connected with the story or situation. In one setting I couldn't find the object in a pop-out window. I hit the 'hint' button to be shown the object was in a lower part of the window that had to be scrolled to. I've never even been *able* to scroll within a window!!!
Overall, I **really** liked the game. At a couple points I was a little bored (it's a LONG game) so I exited and picked it up the next day. I also like finding objects throughout the game and found 41 out of 45. (My best!) The bonus game was almost long enough to be a SE...It was an odd ending for the main game, but, at the very end, it made me very angry because it gave me a choice to do something then answered it itself anyway. why did it bother???
Nevertales is one of the most challenging and thought-provoking games I've played in a while.
I recommend this game!

I first thought, by the cover picture and the trial, that this was going to be a reasonably quick-and-easy game. Little did I know that it would have so many twists and turns! The story was easy enough to follow, but there were many bits and pieces all over the place to make it a challenge. In addition, there were a LOT of mini-games… and I mean A LOT. But, even at that, they weren't boring. Now, the reason I marked this a 5 for challenge, is that many of the hints and directions for the mini-games were confusing at best. However… it added to the challenge to let me exercise my little brain. All and all, it was a lot of fun.
I recommend this game!

Several times a mini game would hang up because I put pieces together before I had all them all. The game flow was not as intuitive as most. Because of these things, I found the game to be more annoying and frustrating than fun.
I recommend this game!

I'll have to say this is my favorite now….or at least the favorite of this type! There aren't any games that I have played more than once, but this one I've gone back over the harder areas a few times!!
Can anyone recommend another one this good?

I hate having to post a negative review, but maybe it will help someone with their next choice of game.
I have loved doing this kind of game, but I was expecting mini-games interspersed throughout, did I miss them? I didn't read the story, did I miss something because I skipped it?
Next, I normally set my games up on a separate "desktop" so I can switch back to my "real life" when I need to. I couldn't do that with World 6, because I had to stay with full screen--which isn't a HUGE problem--except it took SO MANY steps to get through to quit. Again, did I miss something?
Lastly, I had read a complaint somewhere about pic-crosses (is that the name?) that make you have to guess in order to find a next string to work out. It is frustrating when you have no pointers where to start.
I had done the trial, and was hoping World 6 was going to have more games like World Mosaics.
Again, sorry for the negative review. Please, correct me if I missed something. I like getting a good mental work-out.

I found this game engaging and intricate: offering many twists and turns that make sense, with quite a few unusual and unique mini-games. I'll have to say that once i got into it, it may have become my favorite game!
(oh…I had use the walkthrough quite a few time to see if I was on the right track!)

I really enjoyed this game! …and good thing because it reset itself near the very end!! For the quick review: it is CLEAN and FRIENDLY without being "brainless." In the casual mode it is reasonably easy, yet I had to go to the walkthrough a couple times.
Detailed version: The HOS are not a garbled pile of nonsense, but are designed so that items may "belong" in the picture, therefore not seen. (Hide in plain sight?) There are several cute mini games, but unfortunately they are used way too many times that they became annoying. Items are used in a logical sequence with only a minimal amount of back-and-forth.
While most of the game was quite easy, there were several times that I had to close out to go to the walk-through. (The last time I went to the walk-through, the game reset. Oh-well.)
I recommend this game!

I was looking for a game to finish my punch card. While I have a couple in line for the *next* punch card, I was looking for something else. I read some of the reviews because there had to be something to explain such a discrepancy in ratings. Now I understand why. (Note: I don't think I'm very far into it because there is no "table of contents" for me to follow.)
Here are my points:
1. This is not an HO as I consider an HO. It is not an adventure game (except the one directing me to continue the level); there is no story line; there is no involved memory gymnastics;
2. FRESH--different. period;
3. CLEAN--nothing macabre; no death; no occult (witches, mysticism, etc.); FAMILY okay;
4. ADDICTING--at least for me. I tend to have a "driven" personality--I'm going beat this thing, daggone it!!!
This game is totally MISUNDERSTOOD. Do the trial. It is everything it appears to be.
I recommend this game!
