This isn't my favorite type of TM game.
It is bright and cute.
It is a relatively simple game.
And it is fine for killing some time, I usually get bored after a bit and never really get around to buying these types of TM games.
I do like that you get to pick between a male or female avatar, would be even better if you could tweak how they look.
I won't be buying it because it isn't my favorite type TM, not chaotic enough for my tastes and really isn't up to my challenge level. But it is cute and pleasing on the eyes, the music isn't too grating on the ears.
However if this is your type of TM I would recommend giving the demo a spin and most likely you will enjoy it enough to buy.
I recommend this game!

These are my thoughts after 28 minutes of game play on the demo.
It feels like it was a rush job. I think if they put in more time and effort this could be a decent game.
The story line itself could be interesting with some good VO which it has none of, I seriously don't mind reading but if you are going to make something wordy, choose a font that is easier to read or at least place it on a word box that doesn't make it seem like the words are blending together making it hard to read.
I found myself squinting A LOT with the HOS. Tiny objects.
It gives you a magnifying glass of which I was unable to get to work at all. Also it gives you a lantern for seeing into dark areas again this was no help because it does not seem to work, either. I found myself clicking the hint button because of my inability to see the items.
The art style is still pleasing to the eye until you actually have to look for items.
The few mini games I played were simple enough, could have been a bit more challenging.
I did like the music.
I didn't hate the game but 28 minutes in I got a headache from constant squinting with my glasses on.
I will not be purchasing. Truthfully, I'd say skip it and pass on the demo. But try the demo and see for yourself.
I don't recommend this game.

Basing my review off the demo.
If you are a fan of the show you may have fun with the humor.( I am a big fan of the show).
I like the graphic design, to me it isn't always about the flash.
It looks like the characters from the show and that is great.
I am disappointed they didn't do voice overs, but you can't have everything you want, I guess.
Story seems pretty clear.
Puzzles seem to be iffy, some are too easy some are challenging. The HO scenes are okay.
I tried the demo despite the harsh reviews of it... yes it could be better... but as a fan of the show I am most likely going to purchase it... But I say try the demo rather than basing whether you'll buy solely on poor or good reviews.

This is based off the demo.
I like the visuals they are bright and appealing.
You can adjust the volume of the music and the effects.
It went straight into the game with no back-story which is fine since you can pretty much surmise from character interaction that you are building a chain of boutiques.
I didn't get to play the full demo (had a toddler melt-down to deal with) so I hope the game play gets increasingly harder as you go along.
As TM games goes it doesn't seem overly original.
But I think it is cute and amusing enough to use a free game credit.
I suggest playing the demo first to make up one's mind first.
I recommend this game!

I jumped at getting this game because I enjoyed the first one so much.
My first gripe was "Hey they have less mysteries to solve."
My hope was that maybe the mysteries have more depth to them than in the first game. They were a bit longer, but the game play felt less smooth.
The graphics had improved from the first.
My main annoyance with the game would have to be that when an object is clicked 20 times (well not always 20 I think it was more an average of 5-7 times and that does wear thin on one's patience after a bit) and it doesn't register, I tend to get put off a game pretty quickly when this occurs too frequently.
I won't delete it since I am a fan of Murder she wrote, but it will not get as much play as the first one gets.
I recommend trying the demo before buying.

I am always cautious going into a game that only has 5 star reviews, generally because I often find it is usually a 4 at best and a 2 at worst. I did, however, enjoy playing this game.
The background music was pleasant enough and I believe it can also be adjusted in options.
The graphic quality is decent in quality as well.
It was engaging to play and I was sad when the demo time was up.
However, I would like it better if the difficulty could be adjusted, I was well into level 3 before I lost a life.
But the difficulty does gradually increase as the game progresses (just not enough for my skill level - granted this is based on demo-play alone).
I would recommend this game. Play the demo and see if you like it.
I recommend this game!

I mainly bought it (after playing the demo of course) because I enjoyed playing Farmscapes and Gardenscapes.
It brings back Tom and Joe from Farmscapes but plays more like Gardenscapes (which is probably my only real gripe about it)
The visuals are bright and eye catching.
The music doesn't seem to have change from the previous game. (which is fine in my opinion.)
The story-line is decent and fits the theme of the game well enough and is pretty straight forward.
And depending on your skill level will determine how much game-time you are able to get out of it.
I would recommend playing the demo. =)
I recommend this game!

My impressions based solely on the demo. (of which I completed with 23 minutes to spare.)
The Story-line is fine from a just the bit I got from the demo. It doesn't lay everything out in one fell swoop, which is fine because the appeal of this type of game hinges on a bit of mystery. And it does pique my curiosity.
I do like the visuals, they are appealing to the eyes, not overly garish.
Sound is nice as well, the voice work is decent, though it doesn't sync as well as it could with the mouths of talking characters.
I generally skip the mini-games in demos, because they are usually the standard fare but they did look like they could present a proper challenge for some players.
Not sure I would get the CE just based off the demo, maybe the SE.
I am curious to see what is going to happen, so I may buy it.
So try the demo.
I recommend this game!

Tried it on a whim. But this whim lead me to bland fun. I would like to think it gets better, but I doubt it.
As far as game play it is okay if you like doing the same thing over and over again and having timed modes (and other modes) doesn't really break up that monotony.
The sound is okay it doesn't really keep you excited , but it doesn't get to the point of grating on one's nerves either, so yes it is a tad bland but fine for background music.
The graphic's are fine as far as these type of puzzle games go.
The story-line was okay, but not enough to keep me wanting to keep going.
I personally would not recommend it, but if one is interested in trying definitely demo it first.
I don't recommend this game.

I played 9 minutes of the demo, maybe it gets better maybe it doesn't. But for me mindless fun should at least still be fun. The graphics for it are fine but if you aren't into something gloss and shine just irritate the eyes after a bit. It just wasn't keeping me engaged.
I don't recommend this game.
