The creators outdid themselves with the colourful graphics with this game. The journey does keep you involved rather than like the same old seek and find games. It's mostly puzzles, but not the type that make you want to pull your hair out.
The hint button recharges fairly quickly which is always a bonus.
We all have a child within our adult bodies and this game made my inner child very happy.
I recommend this game to anyone who needs to feel like a kid again.
It's nice to see more building games being created, however this one is lacking in some advanced features that have recently been added to the latest builder games. The graphics are great tho.
- Navigating for the options or even to quit the game is very frustrating bcos symbols are used instead of text. - No pre-selecting of next tasks - No cancellation of selected tasks - The enhancement of speed is not that fast.
I really wanted to get excited about this game but it left me wanting. This one is back to the basics. I guess I've been spoilt to the advanced features of the other games. ie: Legends of Atlantis: Exodus
This is only my opinion and it should not prevent others from trying this game.
I don't recommend this game.

I love this game. I hope to see more versions from these creators. I only wish that they would release the Mac 10.8 version bcos the 3rd bonus level will not open under the specs they have right now.
If you like building games, then this is a must have.
Build eight majestic temples to prevent the cataclysmic end of Egypt's eighteenth dynasty as foretold in an ancient scroll in this epic Time Management game.
At first try, this game is so busy, it makes you dizzy! lololol I bought version 2 bcos the graphics are much larger than the original I tried in the trial game.
Now that I'm getting the hang of it, I'm addicted. So much going on & that little thief is a real pip! A master of disguises. What a sneak, you have to keep your eyes open for that one. lolololol
Thank you for putting our a larger version & all the fun characters & animals. I Love It.
At first I didn't like the demo bcos the game has no warning sound when a item is available, as it does in Roads of Rome. Since I became so addicted to games that have little guys building stuff, I figured, why not just buy it and deal with the lack of alert sounds. After all, I can completely understand muting the constant pounding sound of building & mining sounds. The alert sound, well, I will learn to deal without it too.
I am so glad I gave this game a second chance. It is so cute & addictive. Quite the mind twist when playing the "extra" games.
The graphics are very colourful. I love the little bandits!!! They are sooo cute! And if I stop to watch them for just a second, I lose the game. lolololol
I bought this game & I am loving every minute of it. Especially when I've had a tough day, it really helps me to unwind. I highly recommend this game. :)

Great game, however, once you get to the old soldier who's encased in a golden web spell, and beyond that, there is this nasty grinding/whirling sound that cannot be silenced, otherwise you can't hear the musical instrument. This sound sticks around thru many search areas. I literally could NOT finish the trial game bcos of it.
I agree with others comments about the wonderful graphics & story, but without proper hints & instructions, one is forced to always close the game and go to another website for walkthroughs. I was at the end of my rope. Seriously, I was.
- The puzzles give NO instructions.
- Tiny HOS items to find & random clicking is NOT allowed, as the screen will freeze on the 4th click. If you can't see the item, random clicking is necessary.
- You're forced to watch all the tapes if you want hints. Very time consuming, especially if you wish to replay the game. Since I don't, I always had to close the game & refer to the walkthroughs.
- Towards the end of the game, if you missed picking up anything earlier on, your out of luck. No maps, hints or help. Close the game and spend more time searching the walkthroughs.
- The end needs a ladder, without proper hints, you will go crazy trying to figure out what to do next. Back to the walkthroughs.
- The very end is so time consuming & frustrating..... arrrrr!!! No skip button!!!
No wonder this game seems so long. You have to keep searching the walkthroughs to see what you have missed. Absolutely frustrating to say the least. Especially if you put the game on hold and get back to it later. Without proper hints, this game is a real work out. Sorry I bought it.
Yes, the graphics are great & the puzzles too. But what drives me to distraction, is having to close the game & seek out a walkthrough on another website, due to the lack of the hint button in the game. There is a hint button, but only in the HOG scenes.
If I had remembered that this game was lacking this feature, I would not have bought it. BFG's does not allow us to play the trial again, to refresh our memory before making our decision to buy. Hence, I am stuck with a game that drives me to distraction. (:

Wow, did this designer ever listen to players complaints. He/she has covered everything from fast hint buttons to in game walkthroughs. Yep, you read that right. No need to close the game to seek out walkthroughs anymore.
Also, this game has quite the artistic flare of the dramatics. What's not to love? Very different, so expect to be frustrated as you get a handle on navigating thru this game. After a few attempts, you will become a pro.
I not only recommend this game, I am going to buy it too!
