Anyone who's has played the ND games will want to play this game. It stays true to form: the graphics are ridiculously amazing, the sound effects are super creepy. They've made this game a total freak-out, which is fitting since you are investigating a haunted mansion. The characters are a little average, except for Harper who is by far the most entertaining ND character EVER!!! She's flippin' nuts!!! The puzzles aren't too difficult in this game, even on the senior detective level. Even if you get stumped, there are plenty of walkthroughs and guides online since this game has been out for over a year. Big Fish is waaaayyy behind on the Nancy Drew games. I wouldn't recommend this game to someone who has never played any of them before as a it may be too hard for them to keep up with. But to the die-hard fan I'd say this is a must-play!!!
Everyone is frightened by the sights and sounds of something large stumbling through the darkness. Can you solve the mystery before the monster adds another chapter to this legend?
I love all things ND, so I'm a little biased! I thought the storyline and puzzles were superb! The tasks were right in line with the plot, so Nancy wasn't sent on some useless errands that had nothing to do with the game. It is captivating and extremely entertaining. It is a bit time consuming, so if you don't like to immerse yourself in gameplay, then this one's not for you. This isn't some quick, third grade spelling test, easy as breathing game. It takes a lot of time and work. But once you get the hang of it, you'll be hooked.

This game is a great way to kill time. It's very addictive and it does get progressively harder. The music was great at first, but I soon found myself turning it off. It is repetitive and gets old, fast! The graphics were outstanding. It didn't have the cartoonish feel that you would expect from a lot of the adventure and time management games. The storyline was okay. As a girl who loves fashion, I honestly could've done without it! But the storyline does seem to take a back seat to the actual purpose of the game which is to have a great show. At times you'll even forget all about it. My only problem with this game is that as it progresses, your time is cut. Now normally that wouldn't be a problem for me. But once you reach the levels were you dress by color, it's a nightmare! 18 seconds to dress a model in all blue, but no blue clothes on the rack and two other models waiting? Yeah, thank god for the dazzler. Overall, great game with great visuals. Easy to play, highly addictive, and an easy time killer.

I love all Nancy Drew games. It's the only reason I have a Big Fish account. I'm a fan of all large file games but this line in particular. They force you to use your brain from start to finish. This game requires a lot of dedication as you are constantly moving from room to room, building to building. I love that the game switches characters and everyone has their own tasks to perform. It can get a bit tricky in that you have to know who to use to do what. Certain characters can get more out of suspects than others. And Nancy's not just resting on her laurels, either. Even though she's in jail, she still investigates. I loved the storyline and of course the graphics, which are always on point. There weren't too many puzzles in this one. But I've noticed that there are fewer and fewer puzzles in the new games. My only real problem is that Big Fish took FOREVER to get this game! There are two other games out now! I had to buy this straight from Her Interactive.
It was very easy to get used to. Easy to follow. It has a lighter feel than most of the games on here. No morbid storyline, searching for lost family members, or curses. The graphics aren't very sophisticated. The music was not too bad, better than most. The levels did get more challenging as you went along. I had to re-play the second level three times because I couldn't get the permit. All in all, this is a wonderful game. It's easy to get immersed in it.
This game is very dull. There's no excitement. It's just blah... The visual/audio aspect was nice, but nothing to write home about. The storyline was poor. I mean, it made no sense! Was it the future or the past? Mixing Houdini and a plane crash... it 's just lame. The HOS's were very " first day of kindergarten" easy. There was no real challenge to the game and no incentive to reach the end. It was like so many other games we've seen before. Not worth my time or money. Thank glob for trials!
