Let's get this out of the way: ALL BLUE TEA GAMES ARE FABULOUS. They are by far my favorite games. And this one is no exception.
I got the CE (always worth it for Blue Tea Games) and finished the game in one fevered 3-4 hour session. The graphics, sound, gameplay, characters, story, etc... were all up to par and wonderful. I will be playing this game over and over again, along with all the other Blue Tea Games.
It's worth the money. Don't hesitate. Buy it now!!!
I recommend this game!

The game was pretty fun. The HO scenes were fairly easy (there are unlimited hints). The puzzles were a mix of easy, medium, and hard (and they can be skipped). The graphics were lovely and the story, while predictable, was fun and still held me slightly in suspense. It might get boring after you play it 10 times, but it is good for all ages, and I found it a nice diversion from the very creepy games I had been playing.
I have two complaints: one is that the music was period appropriate and fit the game theme, but it was super repetitive and annoying. The second complaint is that the game wasn't that long. I got to the end and I was sure there must be more (maybe there is more in the collector's edition, as I only got the regular edition).
I recommend this game!

I played the free trial for just 20 minutes and got totally bored. This game is just the same thing over and over again. If you have a one track mind and like doing repetitive games, you might like this. If you want a stimulating interesting adventure, buy a HO, adventure, or puzzle game. This game is just too simple and way too long.
I don't recommend this game.

The Sam swift games are all pretty easy to play and you never need a strategy guide for them. There are plenty of hints to help you if you get stuck. Just buy the games and enjoy them, but don't waste your money on this guide because you will not need it, guaranteed.
I don't recommend this game.

This series of games is not too hard, but they are all fun. the plot of this one seemed a little disconnected, but it held my attention because the gameplay was so different than the others in the series. some more puzzles in this one and some very new scenes (a few of the older Sam swift games recycled scenes). I always recommend this series. I play it over and over.

I don't usually like match 3 games, but this one was pretty good. It was mostly match 3 with some HO scenes. The graphics were pleasing and bright though not realistic. I think you should try the free version before buying, but it is overall an interesting game. If you need something simple and fun, this is it. Gameplay is pretty short too, but still worth it.
I recommend this game!

Blue Tea Games makes undoubtedly the best games on Big Fish. The Dark Parables series are all wonderful. More puzzle than HO. Perfect graphics and sound. Lots of back and forth between scenes. I didn't want this to be over when it was done. This is a game for casual game connoisseurs. If you like some easy fast fun this isn't for you.
If you buy this game (and you should) GET THE COLLECTOR'S EDITION! It is worth it!

Blue Tea Games makes undoubtedly the best games on Big Fish. The Dark Parables series are all wonderful. This one is the first and is a little less complex than the later two. More puzzle than HO.
