This has to be the most boring game I've ever played. I already knew there were going to be lots of HO scenes from the reviews but, really, page after page after page after page. Most of the travelling between scenes was already done for you. Then it was back to base for the same old boring game in order to progress to the next set of events and more HO scenes. The storyline was .. yawn city. Couldn't wait to finish the game and delete it.

A most immersive story line with a great twist at the end. The whole game flowed through beautifully, no boring bits at all. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. I hope Mariaglorum do another in this series.

The story got lost in all the interminable puzzles. If you love puzzles, this game is for you. If you want a decent story, a good mix of HOPS and a few puzzles, this game is not for you. I got so bored I skipped the majority of puzzles, lost the nearly non-existent plot, and finished the game. Not an enjoyable experience at all.

Being a total fan of this series, I bought the game without even trying it out. I have all the others and enjoyed them immensely, even playing through 6 and 7 twice - practically unheard of for me. This time, the disappointment is too much. Some levels are really easy and some are just plain difficult. They are not difficult because of strategy, they nearly impossible because the rescuers run so slowly. It's like watching paint dry, or grass grow. The run-faster icons are very few and far between. I'm now on the bonus levels and I've gone beyond being irked with the tardiness, I'm now seriously irritated by the sluggishness. In other words, I'm not enjoying this game at all. In my opinion, the devs have ruined this game. What on earth were they thinking? slow running enhances enjoyment factor? Well, they failed miserably.

I saw the rave reviews and bought it on the strength of them. Started playing and thought the story had some potential. However, it got totally spoiled by so much back and forth for no reason whatsoever. Eventually, I couldn't wait for the game to end. I nearly gave up half way through but wanted to know the ending of the story. A good tale spoiled by a bad game layout and nonsensical reasoning.
Highly Amusing & Fun to Play. Just right on the difficulty level

I don't know why, but I found this game so much easier to play than the first Rose Riddle which I couldn't get into at all. This one I have enjoyed from start to finish. All the extra bonus games in between the levels were excellent. Now that I have mastered the game I will go back and replay the first Rose Riddle which is slightly more difficult than this one. Whichever game you choose, there is a lot of fun to be had with both. The characters are hilarious.
I'm a massive MCF fan and I saw all the rave reviews of the CE version but had to wait for the SE. Oh boy, am I so glad I didn't splurge on the CE. This game is beyond disappointing. It's a complete waste of time. There's no story, it's just a written link between Hops and Puzzles. The hidden objects are super easy. The puzzles to link each set require some thought - but not that much. I'll finish the game because I paid money for it. If it was free I wouldn't even have bothered to get this far. There is nothing to rave about this game at all.
I am thoroughly enjoying this TM game, it has a nice story line. It gets more strategic as one progresses through the levels but that is to be expected. I thought - as I had only bought the SE - that the crystals were for the CE only as I couldn't find a red crystal anywhere. It wasn't until level 35 that I accidentally collected a crystal and the find was reported in the end of level summary. Now that I know they're white (!!!) I've gone back over all the levels just to collect the crystals. As a result - surprise, surprise, I now have extra bonus levels to play. I believe TSTROH24B had the same problem. I hope there are more additions to this series unless they get really silly like Moai did and became impossible.

After the first few levels I thought (hoped) the levels would get harder as we went along. They didn't. They got easier. That was disappointing. TM games are my favourite. I don't expect them to sing, dance, and tell jokes, but I do expect the levels to get increasingly more difficult. There was some entertainment factor involved - but not much. The game was good enough and if you want to spend a few easy non-challenging hours, this is the one for you.

Thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. Excellent storyline which flowed brilliantly. Such a relief not be falling over hops and puzzles at every corner which, for me, usually ruin the story. This game is so well balanced on all levels.
