Fairly decent game. Kept me busy and fairly entertained. Like collecting the Owls and wish there had been some sort of collectable scarecrows or Crows or Morphing crows or scarecrows. Not to many HO's. I could have used a few more. Like my little scarecrow helper. Goes on my to buy list but not my favorite game. Just a so so game. Nice jump map and good inventory. I like I got to choose Gender at the beginning of the game.
Not much different the the Regular version of this game, but still worth a play and I would buy it on sale. Love the touches of critter action. Good Characters, Plenty to do, Mix of HO's, Morphing objects, and not sure if there were any collectables. Fairly good game, but not my favorite. So 3 and half stars to be closer to my rating scale.
Little did I know that white could Deceive Me. Okay this game was a little slow. Some of the Dark Parables can be that way. I found the pieces in the HO's harder to see. Maybe getting old eye sight but it felt like the graphics intended were just slightly different the previous Dark Parable games. Thank goodness for jump maps or I would have been wandering Aimlessly trying to figure out what part to put where at times. Also found it annoying that the inventory list would not tell me what the item was until I clicked on it to pick it up. Otherwise hovering it would tell me inventory item. Like Dah...... Not their best game and I would buy this on sale. Characters were okay, Graphics fairly good, Lots to do. I like the HO with eye movement. Nice touch. Story line was great.
I recommend this game!

Haunted Legends: The Iron Mask Collector's Edition
Explore 17th-century France as you track down a masked killer.
I love the story of The Mask be it book or movie. This game made it interesting and I Had hoped that the man in the mask was actually a good guy, but 2 of them. I need to own this game and find out what that evil little dwarf character has to do with all this.
Nice jump map, good game flow, Critter Action, collect horse shoes, easy breezy puzzles, Great Characters, Nice flow with a good story line. Need to own the game. Almost want to put it on the tender for game award, but think they missed it by a squeak.
Nice little touches throughout the game. Watch out for that snake. Wheres that Cat when you need him.
Really good game. Very easy, critter action, morphing objects, collectables, pretty good characters, Good story line, and easy breezy game with a jump map.
Delightful game with a bit of frustration. Characters were fantastic and well played out. Like the story line and plenty to do. Easy game but not for kids as you have to keep Oscar happy. Puzzles are easy and fairly good mix of HO's. Jump map and some critter action.
I did not like how the collectables played out. I guess they were morphing objects though I only saw one actually Morph and the rabbit symbol led me to believe I was hunting rabbit shapes which I would have love collecting cute bunnies or even bunnies posing in clothing. Instead the collectables or Morphing objects did not make sense and did not seem to be in every scene. I like collectables but I like them to be entertaining and not just a nuisance.
The game is charming and actually makes it to my to buy list. Characters in the game make it worth it.
Excellent game. Good HO's, Good Characters, Collect some sort of sign which I could not identify as what?, Nice jump map, Lots to do, I found a Morphing object in a HO. Maybe there is more? And Tricky puzzles.
Not a fast paced game and almost to dark on my eyes. Wheres my critter action? Maybe the hounds of Baskerville later in the game?
Wish they had posters of characters to collect. Like Dr. Jeckle/Mr. Hyde
Game is good enough to be runner up in game of the year award.
Very delightful characters, Good ambiance, morphing objects collect flowers, lots to do, A jump map which was hard on the eyes for some reason. This game was well done and has become a new favorite of the Surface games. Oh lots of critter action, and very well played out story line and the cut scenes too.
Goes on my to buy list. Only things that bothered me was the map seemed a little harsh and the dark areas of the HO's were to dark, but other then that good selection of HO's and easy breezy puzzles.
This game was on the right track and had they been a little bit more deluxe on HO's and Puzzles it could have been a contender for game of the Year.
I like the Characters, but the main Character who I suppose is Indian? But he sounds like a pirate. The first HO was dark and I though uh oh, but it was pleasant and done right. Now I think all dark HO's need to know how it should look. Then later a darker HO, but they did not put any objects in the dark area which is acceptable. Hate it when HO's are to dark and they put things you can not even begin to see in the dark.
This would be a great kids game it was all too easy. The Jump map was fairly good, I Loved the little cat annoyed sound on front page when you disturbed him, I liked the deer bounding in the forest.
You are to collect tarot cards which I only found 2 of. So not sure if they were just that sparse or that hard to find. Collect coins which the window for that would not let me in. I had to be real fast and click on it just right to see what the coins were for. I thought it was pleasant as you could buy food to bring out creatures. Kind of like you are making a serene looking scene. Would rather of collected Dragons or mythic creatures for this type of game. Game was a little slow but had a lot to do. Game flow was descent. Morphing objects to look for and helpers.
