This game was too hard for me to play. The color scheme and dark areas of HO's made it too difficult. Also searching a room for items became tedious and for some reason hard to look at. Maybe it was the combo of dark colors and the color palette itself.
I really wanted to like this game as the story line was good and characters are great. So I will not being buying this one.
This game is sure the cats meow. Love the ambiance of it all. I found it relaxing with easy flow. Love collecting the kitty's and notice lots of critter action. Bugs, mice, birds. Like the movement of it all. Can we cure the creepy cats and save the young boy. You bet I can. lol. Characters and cut scene were great along with back ground music.
The diary was not the kind you could page through. Not really needed I guess and I failed to notice a jump map? I don't think there was one. Hint button recharges fast and I had to depend on it to know what to do next.
This was a delightful game. Graphics were awesome as well as Characters, tasks, Different HO's and collect Tarot cards.
Plenty to do and well played out. Jump Map too.
I must have gotten a bad down load because I got about a 1/4th of the game with screwy images. Kind of looked like fuzzy bar codes but in color. So I would have to click and guess what I was looking at. Same with the menu. Parts of the word missing because bottom part or top part of word had that fuzzy color bar code instead of what was suppose to be seen.
I will put this on the top of my to buy list. Game is good enough to go into competition for game of the year.
The Flux games are a bit hard for me to play and the first Rabbit hole was way to hard for me, but I was somewhat a beginner back then. This game was also hard but easier then the last game.
Characters are fitting to their environment as well as music. Like the noise selection for finding items. Graphics are very well done. I Might have to try and play the previous game to see if I do better so I can play out the whole adventure.
The Brothers Grimm have assigned the task of revealing the truth behind missing children in the town of Arbourshire; it is up to you to discover the secrets of the Fairy Tale Mystery, before it is too late.
Well this one has some nice things and then it has a problem or two.
Game play was fairly smooth but did the blank screen on certain things. Such a a blank screen for just a moment before a cut scene plays out or when you zoom in on certain items.
HO's were fairly good. Characters were just ok, but graphics on them were good. Cut scenes were good. Plenty to do. This would be a good starter game and or a rainy day special.
This game had a little language so maybe not for kids. It was a little on the spooky side but done in a cute way. I own some of the other Weird Park games and think they are better. This one seemed thrown together but had enough new things to keep it in its own ball bark. Had critters in it which always adds to atmosphere. So I like it enough to recommend it and but it will be on my rainy day special list.
Hope the future CE has collectables and morphing objects with a jump map.
Love this game. Very creepy and though some HO's were slightly on the dark side it was not bad. Nice movement of critters and action. Plenty to do. Miss having a map to indicate where something immediate could be done. Would have liked some morphing objects and spooky collectables, or Collectable Angel warriors.
This game could have been a great game. The functionality of it was awkward and the HO's too hard. To many small items to try to fit HO objects to and not really having much connection to what goes where though it was cute to give the Gorilla a jar of water, but would not except the Bananas until he had a jar of water. Just awkward. The game wore me out and I had to give up.
Also not enough zooming in on items and Gold wings that you put on a owl but on the owl they are silver and the owl is silver. I guess it was to try and throw you off though you know the owl needs wings.
Music put me to sleep. Made the game seem boring. The glazed icon between scenes was confusing. Not sure what it was suppose to make me know or feel.
How I love the folks who make the Mystery Case Files. This game has all my favorites things in it and I did not even complete the demo yet. I already know this goes to the very top of my must buy list.
Love all the ingenious puzzles that they keep coming up with even though I have to have lots of hand holding to get through them. Very top contender of game of the year award.
This story is very moving in the realm of fantasy. The atmosphere and ambiance put it into its own little world to get lost into. Tranquil yet a very hard game.
Some of the strobing colors were breaking up my concentration. Not sure if it was intended, but I had to hold my hand up to cover areas that had flickering strobe to be able to concentrate on areas around it.
The HO's were very undefined and closely same color tones. Items were sometime too little in such a cluttered HO which might have been intended but went up against the tranquil ambiance of the game.
For the rest the art work was grandeur but again hard to look at because of the way the colors were used. It made it very difficult and left me confused at times just because it was hard to lock onto points of interest without brain annoyance from the harsh palette. I wanted to give only 3 stars because it was physically difficult to stick with the game. The same dolphin noise in back ground was very annoying. Softened with a bit more different types of dolphin noise might have worked better.
Yet the game play is so different then most games that it was very good in that area or respect. I will not buy it not even un-sale just to keep from saving my nerves from the lightening and coloring of the game.
I wanted to enjoy this one so badly because the story line and the unique things it did have, but can not stomach literately the rest. sorry.
