Fair game. There were things I liked. Like the box puzzle to open a certain cubby. Old puzzle but was very nice to play it. Morphing objects, collect what kind of looks like building pieces, but are artifacts? Okay HO's, critter action, good characters, Nice inventory, game play took a little doing so had to use the jump map to find where to be and a couple times had to use the hint key when just fallowing the jump map did not work. Jump map was just okay but on the smallish side. Had to squint to see what room and figure out if that was a sand timer. I have a fairly large screen so sorry for those on lap tops. The jump map may be almost useless then.
Goes near the bottom of my to buy list but near its top. If that makes any sense.
Wow. Very good game. Good jump map, collect Mayan stone faces, Morphing objects, Good Puzzles, Lots of activity, Super Characters, Wonderful game flow, Good cut scenes, critter action, Good Inventory and how it is used, and Nice leave off at end of demo.
Has almost everything but the kitchen sink. Could be contender of the year. Goes near the top of my to buy list.
Most creative game in a while. Could be runner for Game of the Year Award. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of one annoying thing. 2 times after solving a puzzle it gave me award after award after award. Like 5 in a row on 2 different puzzles. It was a bit tedious. LOL Maybe they were trying to make me feel like a rock and roll star.
Game had wonderful layered HO's, Good Characters, Lots to do, collect record albums, Critter action, Journal, and good ending to the demo.
Miss having a jump map. Thank goodness for the hint button.
This game is a wonderful family game. Easy to play, lots to do, Cute little tree helper wish I could have the option of naming him Groot or something. lol. Story line was good, game flow was great, puzzles were easy breezy, HO's were good, Critter Action, a so so map. and descent inventory and cut scenes. The only thing I found to collect were the clovers. Lots of awards for just about everything. lol.
The only thing I found a little annoying was the set up for the map, and other items like the journal or whatever those other choices were. I guess I should have checked them out. But it would close if you did not be careful to stay on the area when trying to choose anything like the map. Wish you could click it and it just stay open so you could decide what to open like the map. Other then that great use of characters and nice leave off. Goes near the top middle of my to buy list.
I recommend this game!

A Candle On Every Side

fromChew me a peice of wax and wax my way through this one.
Maybe my shadow will not be stolen from me with candles on every side.
Wonderful game though I believe I got to play way past the Demo. I saw where the demo should end and it just went on till I got tired.
Things that are my grip. Tiny things that old eyes and little kids would never find. I love the way Dark Parables does their HO'S but it always irks me if a item is to small. Maybe give us a magnifying glass to find the little things.
This game was so wonderful.. Lots of this and that to collect and change, build or find. Nice inventory and great game play. Good Characters and nice cut scenes and also the conversation. Wax melts real slow just as the wax maker talks just as slow. Did not like the voice they used for him either. Too old for the young man that was there speaking.
Some critter action, Hard to find parables, unlit candle on a torch stick I think. The candles were easier to find. Nice game flow, Plenty to do, I love the story line too
This was a good enjoyable game. Love the open cut scene. Nice set up, In game we have collectable paper dolls which I like how they used it before the cut scene for a sound test. Find morphing objects, Good characters, Lots to do, Good Inventory, easy puzzles, Good HO's, Fantastic story line, good game flow, and a jump map.
This is easy enough for kids and entertaining enough to keep some of us adults happy. Goes on my to buy list.
Pretty good addition to the series. It had some boo factor, Good Character, Nice interaction with Characters, Good game flow, Plenty to do, Decent puzzles, Nice HO's, And again thank god for a jump map. A few times I needed that jump map to find out where to be for action.
Wow I bet they would break their bed when laying down their head.
This was a really great game. The open cut scene was intriguing, Good Characters, Smooth game play, Nice inventory and inventory use, Morphing objects, Critter Action, and a descent jump map.
I really like the puzzles but because they were a little hard on some I had to skip one so I could get to the end of the demo. When I buy the game I will try to solve it on my own time. Goes on the to buy list near the top middle.
collected a fiery looking face of what might be death, decent HO's, Okay puzzles, Some maneuvers I found tedious like getting through the path with the dog. over use of magic bracelet, Had critter action, Good Characters, ok puzzles, Just ok Map, Good inventory, Decent game flow, and Like the ending of demo. Left you hanging.
Sequel is getting old but they did a nice job in spite of it. I found the beginning a little bit ify, but enough interesting things to get me to stay and the game got better as it went along. Nice finish for the Demo. Left you wanting to see what was next.
Morphing objects, puzzle pieces, awards, Easy puzzles and not so easy puzzles. Nice jump map, critter action, Lots of inventory, Nice game flow, and decent enough Characters.
I did need to use the map when stuck a few times and I cheated on the clock puzzle. It was eating my Demo time. But when I buy it I will hang in there until I finish it.
