Well I do sort of. Pirate games are so cool and so far none of them beat 13 Skulls. This one was okay and I would get it as a freebee. I agree with most of the complaints. To much brown and a little dreary. The music was a bit heavy and played way to long. I had to have help finding some of the coins.
the interactive map helped me to know where to find coins once I started getting stuck.
It was a sleepy game. Was too easy but still plenty to do. Story line was fairly good. Characters where so so. Ho's were also good enough. Puzzles were easy. The story has just enough to make me want to know the ending.
The game kept my interest despite how old the game seemed. Might have been done that way to give it a certain feel.
The story seemed to be more about creature then just vampires.
The game had a technical glitch during the trial play. I would get this game as a free one if I knew how to solve the tech problem it had. Sewer key did its thing and disappeared and then the sewer still kept asking for a key.
They just keep getting better. Love the new way I had to figure out how to work things from the inventory. Felt more like I was actually holding an item in hand and working on it to make it function to be used then on something else.
Loved the HO's and a bit of a twist on the hidden parts. Had to use the imagination just a tad.
The cut scenes were great, and the characters great. Spooky and a little edgy and that storm kept me jumping a bit. Can hardly wait to own this shiver along with the other two I own.
Could have been a great game. Same problems as others with items in HO's not having proper name. Found myself not know what to do next a lot. So had to use the hint button.
Must have it and I bought it. Very much like the old Ravenhurst games and I like those types of mechanical puzzles. Kept me going with lots to do. Story line is great and can not wait to see what happens when I get the refrigerator open.
Graphics Good. Voice over good. Like collecting the scorpions. Like the bits of wild life, bugs and dog.
A murderous figure in a red mask haunts the streets of a small French town, and the mayor needs your help to track him down. But you soon discover that the mysterious Red Masque might not be the real criminal…
Easy to play, Lots to do, and 2 different types of HO's. Love interaction with critters. Good characters. Art work nice, but some of the link in the room where pet kitty is had some white boxes with words which looked like a computer error. Needs to have some sort of paper background to it. So when reading what to collect it was a bit harsh on they eyes with all the ultra white background box with no boarders. I believe it is a glitch in the game.
I like most of the Dark Tales Edgar Allan Poe series. This one had a lot of HO's and no hint button when I got stuck to know what to do next. Only travel by map when it is time to travel. If there was a way to travel between site during a chapter then I did not figure it out.
A late-night subway ride takes a bizarre turn into a mystical cemetery. You have been summoned by a strange entity to free the cemetery’s lost souls. Will you succeed, or is this the end of the line?
Fairly good game and I would add it to my collection. Nice balance of HO"s a different types of HO's. Fairly easy puzzles. characters were good and music was great. Interaction with animals and bugs cool. Great game for kids. Has lots to do but easy breezy game.
I really had fun with this game. Just the right amount of HO's and the characters were great. Lots to do. A little bit of back and forth but I did not mind. I will be putting this on my must buy list. Atmosphere in the Dark Tales are pretty good at making you feel you are back in their time.
