I like this game because some of the characters are charming. Interaction with some animals. The graphics were great, but disorienting. Entrance to other locations were not real defined, but that might have been done on purpose. Try and give one a feeling of being in an alternate universe maybe?
The HO's were different and I liked it, but two of them would not show the whole HO. Even when I back out and going back in and going to the desk top and back in did not help. Maybe a glitch?
Not nary a puzzle :{ The music was delightful until it became mountainous. Come on makers get a clue. A nice music menu is a must for any game.
I would make this game my rainy day special. The story line was great and I thought was great they used an old style commercial at the machines. Like the touches of futuristic with old flavors of early era. The voice overs were very good. Did not care for the object indicator on the curser when searching for areas of activity.
All in all a fairly good game.
I recommend this game!
Long-forgotten memories bubble to the surface when the past invades the present in the Collector's Edition of Lake House: Children of Silence!

This game was a bit creepy. Even made me jump a little which is hard to do. Graphics were great. Love all of strange things that move as well as cute things that react when you put a cursor on them during game and in the HO's. I really liked the HO's.
The game had me completely absorbed. But after reading some disappointing things on the bonus I will settle for the SE. To bad because a great bonus chapter would had me buying the CE. I also like to see games left open for Sequels and this would had made a great Sequel.
Characters were good, the story was great. I had a great time. The music was relaxing but wish there always was a bigger bouquet of different music with each game.
I recommend this game!
Rescue teenagers from the tragic fate of Romeo and Juliet!

Could have been a great game and because it ran so ragged on my older computer and was slow running I did not get very far to tell if it was a game I would want to buy. The little bit I did play looked promising. The graphics were good. Story line was great.
Some day a new computer and a sale on Big Fish and I might buy it.
Help Sam rescue his love Anna in Brink of Consciousness: Dorian Gray Syndrome, an incredible Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure game!

This sure was a great murder mystery and after buying the last game Brink of Consciousness: The Lonely hearts I saw in those reviews mention of this game and bought it right off. Nice twist in the bonus chapter. Long game but I like it. Hope they continue to bring us more unique murder mystery's.
The only trouble I had there was no skip button and one puzzle was too hard for me, but I wrote the recipe from the strategy guide and got through it. The puzzle was more fun once I had the recipe in hand to fallow and resolve the puzzle.
Story line was excellent and glad they gave a choice of shortening the speeches from the killer, but I did not use that feature. The graphic were good. The game ran pretty smooth until the bonus chapter. Near the end by the garbage I had computer grey oblong boxes appear for a moment.
Oh loved the interviews with the folks who made the game in the extras area. Nice touch.
Can hardly wait to see what they come up with next? Boston Strangler maybe??
I recommend this game!

Not sure if I like this one. Had great potential. Scenes beautifully drawn. Cut scenes were okay and the HOs were fairly nice and smooth. The time machine was easy to use and gave the green exclamation signal as to where to jump to for things to do at. BUT that was a lot of jumping around. The game was fun enough even though all that jumping was edging on tedious. I would buy it if nothing better to do. Can not recall how I like the first one. So it is worth a shot but not for everyone.
I recommend this game!
Dupin needs your help solving the mystery of the gold bug. Crack the codes and follow the clues to one man’s obsession with an old legend.

I like this game line but have never bought them because they freeze up my computer. This one did a bit also, but for the first time ran smoother then previous trial runs of their other games.
I think the puzzles were great. Was not real crazy for their search and find HO's, but the rest was busy and characters were great. Love the animal interaction. The music was good too. Not famous but good.
If I ever own a higher grade computer I would buy this game as well as those before.
I recommend this game!

Hauntingly beautiful game. First it is not a kids game. Too spooky. I love spooky, but to my surprise it took me on what felt like a spiritual journey. I have never felt a game that made me feel spiritual in a small way.
The graphics were so beautiful. This game does take patients for all the little bits of reading through out and you need your thinking cap on, but some scenes were so peaceful and the music was perfect. The HOs were a little bit hard and the hint button really was no help. It told me what I already knew I needed to do, but not hint at the area to find what I was looking for to accomplish the goal.
This game goes right up with my favorites list and a must have. Can hardly wait to buy this one.
I recommend this game!

It ran ragged on my computer. May be a to much for my ole computer, but the characters were great. The story line was interesting. Made me want more. I got stuck on the flag puzzle and used up my time. :( The music was good and the graphics were great. Can hardly wait to finish this journey. Can hardly wait to know more of what the Kraken is about.
A bit on the comical side which is endearing me to the characters. Nice smooth HO's with some hidden in the hidden scene. Little surprises here and there.
I recommend this game!
Olivia has been kidnapped by the mysterious Lonely Hearts Killer who murders those suffering from a shattered love. Save her!

I own the collector version of this game and just finished playing the game and the game was absolutely fantastic. The players at the end were so comical I laughed and laughed. It really made you feel you were in a movie or play and you were participating in your own parts. This game is not for kids with a slight use of curse words from their era.
The story is so good you do not mind the long commentary's. I love the after thoughts by clicking on the characters.
I recommend this game!
A terrible legend has become reality. The legend of a terrifying creature returned from hell.

This game is easy breezy and fun. The time flew and for me rare to finish the the trial time before the 60 minutes was up. Lots to do. Just enough interaction with characters. Great game for relaxing and a good paced game.
I recommend this game!
