This game is designed to be totally addictive. The 'sports announcers' throughout the play sound realistic and have a fun sense of humor. Game play itself varies enough - different course layouts, etc. to keep it interesting. And of course, going for the trophy bonus points adds a challenge. The gopher theme is fun - remember to whack the gopher whenever he pops up to get the 'Terminator' trophy, combined with the gopher cartoon vignettes that are reminiscent of the road runner are very entertaining. Great game - Kudos to the designers!

Although I've played a lot of these, I still played on the 'casual' mode where hints were provided - and it was still extremely challenging. Thank goodness of the Tip Forum for this game, although the forum is not as well organized as it is for some other games. While some of the 'chores' you're assigned in the first half of the game are a bit tedious, the overall game and mystery challenge is very good. The integration of video interviews with real actors/people bring the player into the story more than others - like Dire Grove - very well done!
I recommend this game!

This was one of the most engaging games I've played and I'd like to give Kudos to the team who obviously worked hard to develop it. From the creepy videos throughout the game, to the strange and clever challenges and tools that required thought and resourcefulness to the creative morphing of the 'hidden objects' areas - all very clever, creative and clearly a great deal of thought and artistry went into this. Highly recommended. Great cast! This was even better than Dire Grove - which was also outstanding!
I recommend this game!

Mary Kay Andrews: The Fixer Upper
Small town living isn’t what Dempsey Killebrew, a DC girl, is used to but this chore may just become a labor of love!
I've read all of Mary Kay Andrews books and love them so was excited about this game. As such, I was so disappointed by a number of aspects and felt that the game really could have been sooo much more fun and creative: - Too much dialogue to read - the developers could have used voice-over and video to make this more interesting - The mini-games are boring and offer no creativity for the player; It would have been more fun to be able to select paint colors, wallpapers, etc. so that the player could take some 'ownership' of fixing up the old house. - I think I've seen some of the scenes in other games - The graphics leave much to be desired - The instructions before each obvious task make the game feel like it has been dumbed-down - What's with going back to the same rooms and doing virtually the same hidden object find list? The hidden object finding could have a purpose - i.e. cleaning up the messes in each room, but there is no clear purpose.
Overall, it just isn't very well thought out. I'm still a fan of the author, but this execution of one of her books leaves a lot to be desired.
I don't recommend this game.

Lost Souls: Enchanted Paintings
After the police and FBI come up empty in their investigation, Bella turns to forces beyond our world to find her missing son!
The graphics in this game are quite good, but I'll admit that the story format is a little repetitive. As well, I was surprised that the game didn't last as long as most of this type. Perhaps it's better suited for a younger age group (i.e. 10 - 14 years old).
I recommend this game!
