Uninspiring graphics - basically line drawing coloured in. Instructions tell you just to click on things and see if they are useful. The puzzles that do exist (not many) are fairly simple and the instructions basically give you the answer. The hint button is to helpful (gives you the answer). I got bored after 15 minutes. Not the sort of game I like.
On the plus side: Very bright graphics. The zoom in/out button very useful for finding small objects. Plenty of hints (you need them).
On the negative side: Very annoying music. Using a catapult to toss sheep off the island not a very savoury idea. Some objects extremely small and with the very bright colours they tend to blend in. Far too much dialogue/info to read. Fine cursor movements required (frustrating for "older" users). A bit boring just finding objects - no real challenge in the "puzzles" (they tell you what to do). Kids might like this one.
Another great Midnight Mysteries game. Great graphics - very realistic WWI scene (with explosions). Story enthralling. Puzzles challenging but not too difficult. Hidden objects not too difficult to find. Make sure you look for the clovers and raven (for hints) in each scene. Loved it - will be added to the collection.
Very amateurish level of graphics - poor cartoon drawings. Far too much information at the beginning. Ridiculous storyline. Basically a marbles game with very fine cursor movements required for success - very frustrating trying to get the marbles lined up with the cursor. Played for 5 minutes (all I could stand). Not for me.

Dreadful game. Lasted only three minutes with this game due to awful graphics - painted cartoon basically. Far too much to read. Match three level of expertise required minimal. Boring and unchallenging. This game might suit a five year old girl.

Another great Jewel Quest Game. All the favourite boards are there with some new ones (collecting resources etc). You now have characters to choose from and you get to build up their skill levels. Definitely one to buy - I bought it straight after the hour trial.
I'm a Jewel Quest lover and this new game didn't disappoint.
Loved this game - good storyline and intriguing puzzles. Graphics are superb - especially the Collectors edition. Puzzles and HOS challenging yet not too difficult. You get to blow up walls (with dynamite and timers) - loved the explosive effects. Finished the game in a day in easy mode - will try hardcore next to get more of the achievement awards. I liked the alternate endings in the Extra Game Play.
