Unfortunately, I disliked this game. I love this developer but I felt this game lacked that feeling to find out what was going to happen next, and I was bored to the point that, after 3 hours, I gave up. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Intern, Field Reporter, Star Columnist, Editor-in-Chief and Freelancer modes;
* Interactive map;
* 11 Achievements (some with 3 circles);
* 18 replayable HOPs
* Find 1 collectible and 1 morph in each scene.
The graphics are okay. Colours are quite bright and some scenes are very cluttered. Sound is good and the music is mainly orchestral.
The hidden object games I did play had my favourite one - which is the sliders where you move the them across and down the screen to find each item. This HOP can take a while to play, which I enjoyed. Keep an eye out for that ever elusive morph in each HOP.
The mini-games I played were very easy to do and each one only takes a couple of minutes. However, good experience for beginners.
There is 1 morph and 1 collectible per scene. The morphs are easy to spot, but the collectibles (movie clappers) had a better challenge. Get them all and you get an achievement.
Overall, this game was just not for me and I didn't enjoy the story, the graphics or that excited feeling of what was going to happen next. The characters in the story are very cartoony looking and sadly I didn't feel part of the game.
Please trial before you buy.
I don't recommend this game.

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
Wow, this game has everything. If you are an experienced fishy and find most games a bit easy, then come and try this game. The storyline is fabulous, the HOPs and mini-games are challenging and you are on the edge of your seat throughout the game. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Casual, Advanced, Hard and Custom modes;
* Interactive map;
* 17 Achievements;
* Find 44 morphs throughout game and bonus;
* 10 replayable mini-games.
The graphics are well defined, easy to see everywhere and for you to grab the items you need. There are lots of destinations and rooms to explore and I would stop and stare around each scene before exploring - its just that type of game. Each scene has lots of tasks to do, so you won't be bored here.
The hidden object games are mainly highly interactive straightforward, silhouette and finding one item to use to find another, etc. These all had a good challenge to them and I enjoyed them all.
There are a huge amount of mini-games to play - ranging right across the board from medium to hard. I think there is every mini-game known to mankind in this game - honestly I couldn't get enough of them. And yes, I loved them all.
There are 44 morphs (puzzle pieces) to find throughout the game and bonus. Some of these are very hard to spot. As there is no icon to say that you have found the morph in each scene, I made sure I did these first - just in case I got distracted and couldn't remember if I had got it or not. Get them all and you get an achievement. The puzzle pieces go into the Extras where you get to complete the picture puzzles and then you can use them as screen savers.
If you like a challenge, you can turn off Skip and Hint (which is a favourite of mine). I don't use the interactive map either, but you do get an achievement for using it 20 times. I didn't get that achievement - but you can if you like to use it.
I lost count of the hours I played this game - definitely double figures. Its a monumentally long game - and the bonus had a good length too. Honestly I could have gone on much longer playing and didn't want it to end EVER.
Overall, an unmissable game that has everything you could wish for. I wish there were more games like this. I have all the other Harrowed Hall games as well, but this one is my favourite by far.
Happy playing fishies - please give this game a try. I promise you that will have a ball playing this.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
What a fabulous and truly creepy game with lots of twists and turns. In the main game you play both Mark and Martha Spencer and in the bonus you play Cassie Oswald, one of the crew from Paranormal Hour. There is:
* Easy, Medium, Hard and Custom modes;
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Interactive map;
* Journal;
* 13 Achievements (5 with 3 stars);
* 14 replayable HOPs and 20 replayable mini-games;
* Souvinor room;
* Find 34 moths, 10 cassette tapes and 16 morphs throughout game and bonus.
The graphics are very good - there isn't a huge amount of colour, but it is a dark and spooky house. Items you need are easy to see and grab. Sound is good and the music is orchestral and quite creepy.
The hidden object games are mainly interactive straightforward, silhouette, finding pairs and symbols. Each HOP only takes a few minutes to do as items are clear to see.
There are a good range of mini-games to play and I enjoyed them all - each range from easy to medium.
There are 34 moths, 10 cassette tapes and 16 morphs to find throughout the game and bonus. Just check the icon at the bottom of your screen whether that there is a morph to find in that particular screen. If you don't feel like finding these during the game or you miss any, then you can do them all afterwards.
All up the game, bonus and extras took me about 7 hours, not skipping or hinting anything. I really enjoyed the game and the bonus ending was totally unexpected.
Overall, a terrific game and definitely worth putting in your collection. I shall never sing Insy Winsy Spider to a child again without thinking of this game - positively demonic and scary.
Happy playing fishies - this is a gem. Well done to the devs and I look forward to the next instalment.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
This is quite a quirky game but should appeal to most fishies. You play Scarlett Everitt who has physic abilities. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Casual, Advanced, Expert and Custom modes;
* 13 Achievements;
* Interactive map;
* Find 29 morphs (main game only).
The graphics are pretty good - not crystal clear or sharp, but you can find items you need without any problem. The colours are good and fitted well with the game.
Sound is good and the music is orchestral and very lovely which I had on loud througout the game.
The hidden object games are mainly slightly interactive straightforward, silhouette and finding so many of one item (like flowers for instance). These are all very easy to do and won't take you long to get back to the game.
The mini-games are extremely easy and each one only takes a couple of minutes to do. These are perfect for beginners to gain experience.
The 29 morphing objects do morph quite quickly, so you will have no problem finding them all and getting an achievement.
You have a lot of visions throughout the game and you will do a simple puzzle each time - like rotating tiles or moving tiles to their proper places. These don't take long to do.
The 13 achievements are very easy to accomplish.
There is no option to replay any of the HOPs or mini-games.
All up the game and bonus took me about 4 hours to play. It would have been good to have been able to turn off Skip and Hint in Expert mode. I hate having them on because I'm alway scared I will press on them accidently.
Overall, not a bad game and there was just enough interest for me to carry on playing. It is an easy game - sort of sad, and beginners and casual players should enjoy it.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
In the main game you play Chris Anderson who has to rescue your girlfriend Rachel. The bonus is about Rachel with her new power and how it all began. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Easy, Medium, Hard and Custom modes;
* Interactive map;
* 12 Achievements;
* Find 41 red riding hoods in game and bonus;
* 16 replayable HOPs and mini-games.
The graphics are very good - everywhere is crystal clear and easy on the eye. Sound is good and the music is orchestral and nice to listen to.
The hidden object games are mainly slightly interactive straightforward, silhouette and find so many of one item (like owls, for instance). These are all very easy to do because items that you need are clear to see. There is one morph per HOP (16 in all) - get them all and you get an achievement. Some of these had a good challenge to find.
There are a good range of mini-games to play. Most of these are easy to do, but a couple of them took me a while to get in the right order or place in their correct position. I didn't play any that I haven't played before in the past, but I enjoyed doing them once again.
After you have finished the game and bonus, you can find all the hidden objects for the souvinor room, replay the 16 HOPs and puzzles and collect any red riding hoods that you may have missed or wanted to do later.
All up the game took me about 4 hours to play, having Hint and Skip turned off. It was a bit easy, however I liked playing Chris. I was a bit taken aback about how big Rachel's tattoo was - no hiding that in a job interview!
Overall, its an okay game. There is plenty to do in each scene and if you feel like just chilling out without much thought, then give this a try.
Happy playing fishies.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME
You play Nathaniel who is off on an adventure of a lifetime to rescue your fiance Gloria - and wow what an adventure it is. This is truly a terrific game with everything you could wish for. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Casual, Advanced and hard modes of play;
* Interactive map;
* Journal.
I played on Hard mode which had Hint and Skip turned off. It also doesn't show on the map where tasks are to do. If you play on this mode, you cannot change it later on, so just have a think about which mode suits you best. I just love a challenge, so this was great.
The graphics are very good with plenty of colour and well defined scenes. This is one of those games where you will stop at each scene to admire the beauty and scenery. The characters themselves looked a bit cartoonly because they didn't move or anything, but everywhere else looks great.
Sound is good and the music is orchestral which plays on a loop but is very pleasant to listen to throughout the game.
The hidden object games are slightly interactive straightforward. Most of these are quite cluttered but I didn't have any problem finding all the items. Some scenes you will do twice, but mostly just once.
I really enjoyed the mini-games. Most of them were easy to do, however there were a few where it took speed and precision. A few are where you have to get your boat passed obstacles like sharks and an octupus and a maze in the dark with only a fire torch. The mini-game at the end was the best, but I won't go into detail because I want you to play the game without any spoilers.
All up the game took me a good 5 hours to play, without hinting, skipping or using the interactive map. Honestly I loved the game - this is what a true adventure game means.
Overall, if you have a spare PCC or want to take advantage of a good sale, then this game is definitely worthwhile. Well done devs and I'm looking around for any further games that you have done.
Happy playing fishies - this is a gem.

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME
In this game you play Alfred who has to save your wife Melissa. Its a good old fashioned game without any bling bling but is worth using a coupon or a sale to buy it.
There are voiceovers (with dialogue), Normal and Hard modes of play and a map (but not an interactive one). The voiceovers are very well done and added to the ambiance of the game. Sound is good and the music is orchestral.
The hidden object games are straightforward only which you will do around 3 times in each scene. Some of the items are tricky to find because they are very small or blended well into the scenery. The HOPs were not fussy where you clicked on an object (you know in some games you have to be very precise where you click on an object), so that was good.
The mini-games are all very easy to do and I didn't see any that I had not played before in the past. However, they were fun to do again.
Even though there is no interactive map, it is still easy to remember where to go and what tasks to do. You don't venture off too far.
All up the game took me about 3 hours to play. I quite enjoyed the game and I loved the voices of each character. No computer generated voices here - they are all British actors.
Comes recommended.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW FROM COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
Well fishies, if you love lots of hidden object and mini-games, then this will be perfect for you. Here you have to find Eleanor and then learn the story about Gloria and William Coddington. There are lots of twists and turns with the story and things are not what they seem. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Easy, Medium, Hard and Custom modes;
* Interactive map;
* Journal.
The graphics are superb, with just the right amount of colour. This is one huge manor with lots of locations, so you won't be bored here. Sound is good and the music is orchestral and stunningly beautiful. I've always loved the MCF music and even the family know it well from me having it on loud over the years.
The hidden object games are mainly slightly interactive straightforward and there are a lot of them. These are easy to do because items are very clear to see.
Now, there are a lot of mini-games to play - some are easy and others take a lot more thinking and strategy. There are a couple of super mini-games, however these are not too hard to do. The first one took me about 20 minutes because I was a bit out of practice, but the second one only took about 5 minutes. There is something in there for everyone, even if you are not a fan of them. I loved them all because its the first game in ages that I had to think, rather than just click.
All up the game and bonus took me a good 9 hours or so - that's playing all the mini-games without skipping. Some did take me a while.
So, do you get the CE or SE? The CE has 37 morphs and 37 glass shards to find throughout game and bonus; 24 replayble mini-games and 24 replayable HOPs and 12 achievements (some with 3 circles). If you are thinking about just getting the SE I would reconsider because the bonus is integral to the main game and you won't get the full story of this disfunctional family.
Overall a totally immersible game with lots to do, incredible mini-games and an intense desire to find out what happened to this family.
Happy playing fishies. Its a long game, so please get comfortable.
I recommend this game!

Well fishies, if you love lots of hidden object and mini-games, then this will be perfect for you. The main game is mainly about Gloria and William Coddington and the bonus is about their son Gordon. There are lots of twists and turns with the story and things are not what they seem. There is:

There are 37 morphs and 37 glass shards to find throughout the game and bonus. The morphs are easy to spot, but the glass shards are harder because they blend well into the scenery. I did them first so I didn't forget about them, however there is an icon for each of them in each scene so you can see whether you have grabbed them or not. Get them all and you get an achievement.
Make sure you use the interactive map at least once, so you get the achievement, and also keep an eye on your journal as there is information in there to help you.
All up the game and bonus took me a good 9 hours or so - that's playing all the mini-games without skipping. Some did take me a while.

REVIEW FROM COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
Once again you play Rick Rogers and need to find out what happened to Tina Rise. There is plenty to do in each scene and I liked the characters to the story. I felt sorry for Tina as teenage crushes can be so heartbreaking as I'm sure we have all learned from past experiences.
There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Casual, Advanced, Hardcore and Custom modes;
* Interactive map.
The graphics are terrific and very well defined. Items you need are easy to find and use. Colours are good, even in dark scenes. The music is mainly orchestral and piano.
The hidden object games are mainly interactive straightforward, silhouette, find one item, then put one item back and finding 10 of an item. These are all very easy to do because items are clear to see and/or use.
I thought some of the mini-games were quite challenging - you know the ones where you have to rotate tiles to get a picture or move tiles to get to a certain point. Personally I thought these had been ramped up a bit and I really enjoyed them. Some of these took me a long time to do.
So, do you get the CE or SE? The bonus its about locating Mika and Dean, a journalist and her cameraman, there are 13 replayable HOPs and 13 replayable mini-games and an achievements board. In each scene throughout the game and bonus there is a morph, an eye and sometimes a statuette to find. The morphs and statuettes are easy to find, however the eyes are a little harder to see because they blend into the scenery well. I enjoyed doing these. My personal preference for this game is to play the CE.
All up the game and bonus took me about 6 hours or so to play, so good value for money.
Overall, this game is definitely worth putting in your collection. There is plenty to do in each scene, some of the puzzles are challenging and there is a good sense of urgency to find out what happens.
Happy playing fishies.
I recommend this game!
