What a pleasure to play this game. Great story line, superb graphics, excellent array of characters, 360 degree movable, maps, hot spots.....this game had it all. Its a long game with lots of "fillers" which only added to the enjoyment.....fun to do. You probably need a walkthrough(use MaGtRo) since some of the math is bit complicated and also to keep you on tract. I rank this up with the Syberia and Return to Mysterious Island series. I also found the ending surprising.
I gave this a one star because there was no zero slot. I great series gone down the tubes. Just another boring HOG. I guess they never heard the phrase "don't fool with success"
I have rule that I never comment on a game unless I finish it. But this was so bad....
We have a search for dear old uncle which takes us around the globe. A very good story line with lots of things to do and a healthy supply of characters to overcome.. Kept my interest all the way. If you have played the "Art of Murder" series you will fine this to you liking. The game is a bit short but this is probably good since it keeps the game moving.
On the negative side, this, like so many of these games, has some very dark scenes. This really stands out in the fireplace scene which was not difficult...I just couldn't see it.. Also the ending I thought a little brutal. But in total, a very good game.
If you played the art of murder series you will like this one. It is exactly the same...only the names have changed. The plot It is a lot like Syberia II except we have sinister people afoot trying to prevent the ultimate goal...finding the "tree of life". There is a lot of good adventure along the way which makes playing the game a real joy.
I would have given this 5 stars but I found the dialog too wordy and the ending not to my liking , however, these are minor points.
