I absolutely love this game. I love all the Gnome games. There are some very difficult, sneaky levels that you have to play over and over in order to find tiny clues to finish but level 44 is the most frustrating thing ever. There is no way to find the net and finish it. So I can't move on. I still love this game and the music on this one is wonderful.
I love this game. I bought it on a whim yesterday and it's light, fun, witty, and a nice change from the usual TM games. It's a relief to find this game after a few tough purchases that left me feeling depressed. I love the queen and her poor lady in waiting. They are hilarious! hope there will be more games with them coming soon!
I just checked my purchase history and I've had my account with Big Fish Games for 10 years. I rarely write a negative review but after careful consideration I have to say this was the most unpleasant purchase I've made here. I've bought a few dud games and chalked it up to experience. But the Delicious games are an automatic buy for me. I bought this one a while ago and only just started playing it a few days ago. I had trouble completing levels it's so difficult and I am an experienced TM player. It was giving me nightmares because it made me feel stupid. I was literally trying to strategize in my sleep! The customers get hostile within seconds and the storyline is nonexistent. I have no idea why Patrick and Paige stand around and do nothing in most scenes and the farm level is absurd. In one scene you have to grill 17 different items when almost nobody buys them. So on top of the other multitude of chores, you have to grill and delete those items and incur the wrath of the kid who wants either a bucket of water or a handful of straw (why?). Emily moves slowly but not as slowly as arthritic Patrick who takes forever to clean a table. I hated this game and could not get three stars on many levels or meet the challenge. I don't need a game to make me feel stupid. I deleted it. And I feel better for it.
I am a huge Gnomes Garden fan and was so happy to see this new version. It's been a long, tough, year and the graphics, delightful music and challenging scenes make me oh so very happy. Thanks to Eight Floor Games and Big Fish Games for a really fun way to stop myself from doom scrolling!
This took a few tries to get the hang of things because it's not the usual time management format. I've become addicted to the Incredible Dracula series so until they come up with a new one, I am on the hunt for fresh new games. i stumbled on Farmers Market and it's so much fun! You have to build market stalls and sell everything from hot dogs to grilled corn on the cob. I like this game so much and the music is cute. If you love time management games, this is a winner. Deliciously different!
I noticed this yesterday and the ID games are an automatic buy for me. I love everything about this. Drac is adorable as ever and I love the ocean creatures and the music. I usually turn down the music when I am playing games, but not for this one. I am so glad the gang is back. It's like having an old friend visit who has better, faster, funnier stories to tell!
I stumbled across this game by accident. I'd run out of TM games and tried this and I think it's my new favorite. Love the game, the visual quality, the characters (I have a gigantic crush on Rupert)...I even love the noises some of them make as they collect resources. Have since purchased all the games in the series. This one has some real challenges and I had to play some levels a few times. It's worth it!
The first 10 levels are so easy and mundane it's easy to write off this edition of Gnomes Garden. However it suddenly becomes challenging and engrossing and strategy is required. I admit to having to watch videos of the more difficult levels (for example level 30) but I thoroughly enjoy this game. As you progress there are more and more Halloween elements with werewolves and ghosts and spooky decor and music. It's a fun game that I do recommend!
I was feeling sort of depressed after I'd run through all the Emily games, the Gardens Inc. series...and along came Gnomes Garden: Lost King Collector's Edition. Very surprised by the mixed reviews. I almost passed on a very exciting, fun game except one review convinced me to try it. Within ten minutes I was addicted, I love this game and will now get the entire series. I love the strategy aspects, the cute gnomes, and the magic cats. Try it. It's a fantastic game!
I love this game! I haven't played such a funny game in years. The characters and the things they say are hilarious. I am loving it. The game gets increasingly difficult but I am trying to pick up speed...at the same time trying not to finish it! It's too much fun!
