I am not sure I can critique this game. It is (to me) mind boggling but SO much fun. I am so lost and found while playing it. There is no help what-so-ever..you are on your own figuring out what to do next and also where to use your inventory. It is definitely not an easy game and I am sure some will not like it..but I do. I like puzzles and mysteries so this is a buy for me but I do believe that I will have a hard time figuring everything out as I consider myself an intermediate player. In a way it reminds me of the game Coma but much harder. There is not dialogue but there are noises that let you know something happened somewhere and you need to figure out what and where. Try the demo and see what you think. I think mind boggling!
I love nanograms or whatever name you want to call them. This one has beautiful colors but the challenge is not what I expected. I do not like nanograms that automatically block off the ones you cannot use. This makes it too easy in my opinion. As for setting the difficulty you have only two choices. Mark off one by one or an entire row once it is completed. Choosing that to make it more difficult does not change having the unusable ones not blocked off. However, the story line is cute and you collect money to furnish the owl's home. I am sure many of you will like this. Give it a try it is a cute game!
Wow, I truly like the story line and the HO's along with the puzzles...what I do not like is the watch as yes, another gimmick used over and over. It is totally unnecessary and in my opinion takes away from my enjoyment of the game. Yes, I do no like gimmicks, I would rather-if necessary have an unobtrusive helper. That said this is a good murder mystery with many, many puzzles. The graphics are good and the game flows nicely (except for the watch). Try this and see if it is for you. I will wait for a sale or maybe pawn my watch!
Wow and Wow again. I truly love this game. I have not purchased too many games lately because they all seem to be the same. Dull with no true story line and the same ole same ole. Well, not this one. It is new and very innovative. I have only played 37 minutes and I stopped to write this review and to purchase the game. I love not knowing what to expect next and the puzzles are fun and new, as are most of the HOs. All I can say is try this game and I am sure you will enjoy it and yes, actually buy it. Happy Gaming!
I purchased this game with a discount coupon without trying the demo based on the good reviews it received. I am what I believe to be about half way through and I am totally lost and confused. I truly lost the story line due to all of the puzzles which do not need to be in this story. I have used the map and hint button more in this one game than I have in all of the games I own combined, I think.....or maybe it just seems that way to me. This is not a bad game but I do recommend you try the demo first.
I played 50 minutes of the Demo and most of it seemed like a chore instead of a fun game. This is a great game for kids, but as an adult no way, no how. It was just too easy and too much to do that had nothing to do with the story line or the game for that matter. I strongly advise everyone to try the Demo first and see if this is the game for you.
I do enjoy griddlers although they can become repetitive which at times this one does, but it also offers mini games which does break thing up just enough to keep ones interest. The colors are vibrant and yes, you can tell what the final piece is. Overall this is a good game. Try it...if you are new to these then this one will help you decide if you like this type of game.

Sorry, but this could have been a good game, but phew! Too much written dialogue, too boring objects to find, too boring garden decorations to buy and just over all too boring. Major snooze fest. And if you really want to you can hold down the control button and zoom in to see what you can't see. Sorry, but this is a no buy for me. Try it and see what you think
This really is not a bad game but it is not my cup of tea. It did take me a little while to figure out how to play the game after entering my name. You must click on the tutorial (question mark). Once I did that it played smoothly but I found it somewhat boring. The music is repetitive and their is no voice overs...just reading what is being said. Try the demo and you might like it. It does have some different features from you standard HO games.
This is not really a bad game. It is typical Elephant Type, which I have to say is not one of my favorite devs. I really do not like their set up for the inventory and for the hint button, map, etc. There is too much space taken up when it could be smaller. The game I thought was okay. The puzzles I liked. Many were thought provoking which is good. The story line is okay. I for one do not compare it to Harry Potter as I have not read nor watched any of those...so to me this is on it's own merits. It is not a buy for me but at least try the demo and see what you think.
