I liked this one very much, & I don't usually like straight hidden object games. The game is a welcome change from all of the dark eerie games, it is bright, colourful & cheery, & a joy to play. You find items to earn money to help repair the orphanage. It is a great game for beginners & those that want light, cheerful non taxing entertainment.

You find items to earn money to repair your garden, & the butler is quite quirky & a lot of fun, especially when you click on him. You tidy & find items for each of several rooms & you decorate the outside of the inn. The voice-over is a little cheesy, but not too annoying. I really enjoyed this game, but sadly the ending spoiled it for me. The ending is quite abrupt, again it is a case of a developer using the deplorable practice of using the bonus chapter in the CE to complete the game story.
However, the game overall is fun to play, it has a nice mix of puzzles, varying in complexity, some of them quite challenging, some easy. The different scenes were varied & visually quite beautiful, & the story up to the end, was interesting & engaging.
The abrupt ending was why I deducted 2 stars, I cannot condone the practice of using the CE bonus to complete the story, bonus means extra NOT completion.
I enjoyed this game, the graphics where nicely done, voice overs relevant, the puzzles were interesting without being too hard & I found the hidden object scenes to be mostly reasonable in size. The only issue I had was with the naming of some objects like calling a quill a pen etc. The ending was a little abrupt, but as it said, "to be continued".
Overall this is not a bad game, but the ending was atrocious, the game simply stopped.......very frustrating. I understand the proper ending was included as the bonus in the CE version, which is disappointing - bonus means extra, not completion!
As I said though overall, not a bad game. Nice visuals & sound, interesting puzzles. A bit of running back & forth, but not to badly. If the ending wasn't so bad, I would rate it higher.
An excellent sequel. A really cute game, complete with an adorable baby dragon, I found it entertaining & a delight to play.
In a nutshell, the story is engaging, the music pleasant, the graphics beautifully rendered, both colourful & clear. The game is a combination of hidden object scenes, adventure puzzles & mini-games, that are not too taxing. All in all an enjoyable play.
A really lovely game. The story is engaging, the music pleasant, the graphics beautifully rendered, both colourful & clear. The game is a combination of hidden object scenes, adventure puzzles & mini-games. My only negative, is that sometimes the puzzles seemed a little simple, but I may just be nit-picking LOL. A very enjoyable game anyway.
I recommend this game!

Dream Chronicles 2: The Eternal Maze
Faye returns to more enchanting realms in this mesmerizing, much-anticipated sequel to Dream Chronicles ™.
Like the first in the series, this is a fairly simple game with not a lot of challenge. It also is a point click adventure were you need to find objects & resolve problems. The storyline from the first continues in this sequel, & like the first, the graphics are nice. However, there has been no improvement to the size of the things you need to spot, they are still quite minute. There are some hints in this game, but only if you collect the dream pieces, which like the other items are quite small & hard to spot.
Again, not a long game, would recommend for a bit of light afternoon fun only.

Dream Chronicles
Surreal clues and puzzles come alive in this breath-taking adventure game where the line between reality and fantasy no longer exists!
This is a fairly simple game with not a lot of challenge. It's a point click adventure where you need to find objects & resolve problems. The storyline is nothing new, the graphics nice, but a lot of the things you need to look for are very small & hard to spot, so not a game for those with poor eye sight. Its main disadvantage is the lack of hints for the puzzles, which are sometimes a little obtuse.
Not a long game, would recommend for a bit of light afternoon fun.
