I bought this game 1 year or so ago & still L-O-V-E it!
This one's great for a good word workout. It's got some great challenges & twists and bonus features, which are excellent! The developers have definitely done right by me...
It's great being able to compare scores with others around the globe & check global and national rankings!
I would only suggest that the game's word database be updated to include a more expansive, "specialized", vocabulary collection (including medical words, astronomy, physics, etc. As it stands, though, I am able to create words exceeding 15 letters in length.
After buying well over 100 BFG games (mostly CE's), only 10 or so have withstood the test of time:
Word Web Deluxe is certainly one of my all time faves!!!
I recommend this game!

A badly made potion of sometimes good graphics and other times, FUZZY ones... Non professional voice overs and infantile cut scenes. This game just doesn't compare with even the sub par ones of several years ago. Should have been better tested and far better produced. I clocked out after 3 minutes.
To be fair: I didn't play the game long enough to discover much of a story... I gave it a 1 because the story's intro was undeserving of a 2.
This was a pretty dreadful follow-Up to the first in the "Surface" series. I think the game makers were over ambitious and just missed the ball completely. The 1st Surface knocked the ball out of the park and was a pure joy and fun to play. So sadly, this game tried too much to be clever and really missed it's target, meaning: They let the concept get too far ahead of the logistics of the game's development from the perspective of it's perspective audience... It's the difference between an orchestra warming up and playing in harmony together. Unfortunately, in this game all of the instruments were playing at the same time - as loud as they possibly could - without a conductor, with no sheet music, and oblivious to its audience.
I really wish I could give the Surface sequel a great review (for I L-O-V-E-D the last), but sadly... I sincerely can not.
I can't say enough great things about my experiences with this game! Since there I'm only the 3rd person to review it, it's clear that not enough people know about the game.
I love the contrast between the peaceful music and the excitement of the game... particularly at each new level. I really love the challenge of this game. I thoroughly enjoy all of the scenes and settings, and the challenging twists I encounter as the game progresseses.
When I first saw the game on the site, I nearly overlooked it because "What", I thought, "could be so exciting about twigs!"
Well, desiring something new and different, I cast all assumptions about the game aside and gave it a try. WOW, was I ever delightedly amazed!
After 6 or so weeks of playing the game, I'm amazed at how I fall more and more in love with it each time I play it. I can't imagine ever growing bored of Twig 2.... And as much as I enjoy my adventure games, I occasionally desire something fun and different.
This is a great "wind down" game... Great when I just want to chill out and challenge myself in a relaxing way... It's also been great playing it when I need a little break from my studies and menial housework. Some need their chocolate, others their icecream, but Twig is the treat for me!
Last Word: I hope the game gets promoted more so that more people can enjoy it... but also, I want the game's developers to launch a Twig 3!
I. personally needed a break from the fast paced, bravado of the darker games. As I love the ocean... it's relaxing sounds, seagulls and the like... I've really enjoy the games setting. The soundtrack's good, too, providing a nice balance to the seaside soundscape.
The pace of the game's been nice, too... providing a perfect chill out for winding down ~vs~ freak out before bedtime (as do the creepy games). The apparition appearances are pleasantly and tastefully done, providing nice back-story with well acted dialogue (not over the top like some out there).
I scored it 4 for challenge, due to it being no head scratcher nor brain twister. I gave the story 5 because it's one of the few games I've played during which I've felt like I'm actually the person doing the "mystery solving". Like a good film, the game draws you in, tricking the observer into believing they are an active participant.
This game marks a new standard in adventure games! All other game makers take heed: It’s time to up your game, less you will lose at your own game!
Prior to playing this game, I had come close to ending my affair with PC games. I was getting bored with all the old conventions, blah stories, and lack of innovation. My favorite games have been the ones that are most innovative - not just for the sake of innovation - but in the spirit of creating fun, exciting, memorable experiences for game lovers... Starting with the Storyline.
Story is at the heart of culture, communication... and of all things creative. In House of 1000 Doors: Family Secrets, the story is a central, essential element, providing the glue for all of the game’s elements. Like a film, no matter how great the effects, casting, editing, etc... without a great story, production is pointless.
I take my hat off to this game’s creators! trust they will employ every ounce of their creative talents and skills to create a sequel that will not only uphold, but exceed the excitement, enthusiasm, and positive expectations inspired by House of 1000 Doors: Family Secrets!
This game is absolutely gorgeous, excites and invites the imagination to experience the blessing of its being. It's incredibly positive for adults and children, alike. A marvelous way for mother and daughter to bond and explore a beautiful, empowering, and uplifting world together. The perfect game to play when up late at night... great, too, if you're hospital bound, and long to get away in a peaceful, healing place. No other game has inspired me to review it with 15 minutes remaining in the trial. It's artfully and tastefully done. Even masterful in ways. I'd encourage everyone to at least give it a test drive. It is truly something special. The Bonus features look very promising, too. It is my honor to give this game the maximum star value.
No Fan of Mixing in Real Live Actors with Escapism

I attempted the game 2ce and it was a disappointment both times. Using real people to portray characters doesn't make the games more realistic... Instead, it defeats the purpose of escapism, altogether. It confines the imagination, and strips away the “Fun Factor”. In contrast, “Hallowed Legends: Templar” animates the actors, incorporating the characters more fully into the game. That said, using actors in adventure games is a developing genre. A lot more experimentation and innovation is required, however, to make it a successful one.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this game and don't wish it to end! As a result, I've purposely been holding out on the very end (I do this with great books too). Another reviewer mentioned the continual twists and turns... I’ve also loved about this game. The style of the graphics - motion graphics and music could not be more perfect for this game - quite spectacular! If you love being transported from one dimension to the next, and love to get lost in incredibly engaging puzzles, this is definitely your game.
The entire town has been put into a deep, dark sleep by a mysterious evil force. Now young Lillian must find allies and uncover the dark secrets of voodoo in order to save her master and free her friends before it is too late.
This was more than I could have expected... Suspenseful & fun & I had a great time. Still waiting for a sequel... I hope more people review this game (It came out quite some time before review feature, so no wonder there aren't more reviews here for it). That said, if you love mystery and adventure games, too, this one is sure to excite and delight! As someone who used to make films, I really appreciate the filmic quality in games. This was a really fun one, and like I said... It was my first and got me hooked!
