I don't hand out 5 stars very often. It was fun, entertaining and loved the little twist with the dog. I am so glad when they let you glide from area to area with the compass it is greatly appreciated. This game was like a good mystery novel you cannot put down. I wanted to stay up all night and finish it, but went to bed and was up early to finsh it, then was sad when I did. You will not go wrong with this game and I will play it again. Enjoy!

Having played the other Dark Tales: Edgar Allan Poe's hidden object games I beleive this must have been the first attempt. I was easy to play and not a long game. I was a little disappointed because had I tried this one first I would never have played the other two which are excellent HO games. If you get stumped at the table with the microscope put the snail shell at the middle of the pitcher not up at the top like you are dropping it in or you will be there forever. LOL GL Have fun.

I loved the game just the right amount of games to play and HO sences. The story was great. I already go another one from Edgar Allan Poe and will be getting the rist. Fun, great storly line. Don't for get those rose. They will come in handy!

Really good for not being a CE. Don't forget to use that map and also play that final extra bonus after you complete game. The story line was different this time you are trying to free the mom instead of the mom trying to free the child. Liked the different realms made the game more amusing. Good Play!

In my reviews it is very hard to get a 5 star from me so a 4 is a pretty great game. I do this thnking if you read the if I say a 5 you better rush and play it because it is awesome. I like the Dark Parables series they are an interesting story. I don't much like putting things together so if you don't like that then this game is not for you. This was an amazing game with a maze of places to go and you have to really use your mind, special games were just right. Never forget to go back to the beginning sometimes you will be surprised. GL Happy playing

First let me say I do not hand out many 5 stars so I really enjoyed everything about this game. Story started out slow then it started to become addictive.I have played it twice and think I may have to get the CE I really enjoyed this game. Puzzles were not to hard just right and loved all the hidden object games and the remarkable story. It's is well worth the time to play. I will not spoil it but the ending will shock.
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed it and played the bonus. May play again to see if I can get all the hummingbirds. I did manage to collect all the out of era things but that was by accident more than searching for them. Overall it was an enjoyable game and the map sure did get a lot of use. LOL
I recommend this game!

I thought I had played this before but committed myself to playging again as a reminder since doing the series. I'm not fond of the hidden objects you have to put together so if you don't mind doing them this game is for you. Be sure to use the map it is really handy and the story was cute. Good Luck!

A little too much over and over for me. Then it did't explain about the amulet so I finally figured out that was why it was flashing and not just a special effect. Too tedious going back and forth with limited passages. Probably will not play again unless I am having HO withdrawl symptoms.
I don't recommend this game.
After being invited to the Christening of your sister’s son, you arrive to find a deserted estate! Save your sister before it’s too late!

Don't miss out on playing this game. It is great with twists and turns everywhere. i have all the Grim Tales and will play this one again for sure. Don't forget to click on the compass at the bottom right corner to tell you where to go if you get stuck or just want to see where there are things to do. I don't give out many 5 stars but I really believe this one deserved it!
