Just wanted to drop a short note to say that I’m so happy to see Ravenhearst being brought back to life! Who could ever forget the Ravenhearst-series, I have always remembered them as my favourite games.
In this new game there’s a lot of the MCF-blueprint that I love. I find it very creative, original, there’s a great atmosphere and it makes me laugh. I would rather have seen real actors, but these characters are awesome as well.
I am hoping MCF will continue to be daring, it suits them so well!
I recommend this game!

Great game, really well done! I love a good sense of humor in a game and I love to be surprised, this game has both. It's also really well done as far as gameplay, graphics and music.
Woohoo, thanks Redemption Cemetery-makers, for giving me such a wonderful time!
The Dark Parables Games are really precious to me. They speak to my imagination in more than one way. Ofcourse it helps that the gameplay is fluent, the story interesting, the music beautiful, the charachters engaging and that the artistry is always astounding! There's no way that I can critize something that I adore this much :-)
I just had to leave a message here to express how much I enjoyed playing this game. The graphics, music and atmosphere have a way of pulling you in from the start, it's really well done. A big plus to me is that while playing there is nothing else but the environment on the screen, so no menu, hint, guide-buttons. It made it easier for me to immerse myself in the game, to forget I am even playing. The tension is there throughout the entire game and the story enfolds well. The characters in the game are real people with great personalities. If you're in for something fresh and exciting, play this one!
The residents of Bitterford, Maine have fallen prey to a terrible curse. It’s up to you to unravel the series of mysterious events that led to the town’s downfall and uncover the evil that was responsible.
I didn't think it would be possible to create an even better game than Escape from Ravenhearst, but MCF managed to do just that with Shadow Lake. Hat's off to MCF!
Not only are the graphics absolutely astounding (really draw you in), but it's the whole atmosphere of the game that is so excellent. I think they can make me feel just about anything and I have a sneaking suspicion they know exactly how I feel during the game, which ranges from cheerful to terrified (I love it!). The storyline is brought in a highly dynamic way, great presentation. And then there is the overall care for detail, which I have never seen so much in any other game. I want to recommend this game to everyone!
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.
By far the best game I ever played (second time just as much fun as the first time). Absolutely brilliant, everything just came together in this one. Superb accomplishment from Mystery Case Files!!
