Good story lines, great puzzles and games, and a likeable heroine. The only complaints I have, are why do they keep changing the way this woman's voice sounds? The first game in the series, Secrets of the Mafia, I couldn't stand her nasally voice. The second one,Outbreak, I loved it. It was just what I thought a young, gutsy, intelligent female journalist should sound like. Now they are using another nasally woman's voice which I can't stand.
Another thing; anachronisms. For the most part, they keep things realistic for the 1050's. But in the hidden object games there are certain objects which hadn't been invented yet; plastic spray bottles, magnetized key cards, computer chips. Otherwise, I do enjoy the games! Please, can you use the same woman's voice from the Outbreak Game, for future games?
I really enjoyed Paranormal Traveler, The Tall Man, The Hook Man, the Trap Of Truth, and Trials of Worth. Which is why this one disappointed! The story line was lame, and I found myself growing bored halfway through the game. The only reason I bought it was not to miss the story line that happened before the Trials Of Worth! I think that the whole story idea was what bogged this game down into mediocrity. Somehow a shopping mall is not scary, and the mannequins were almost laughable as they strolled around as if shopping.
I was eagerly waiting for the next one in this Great Queens series to come out. This game seemed hastily thrown together, with far too many HOS and contrived plots. The bonus play was even worse, and the puzzles throughout were easily solved by a ten year old. All I can say, is...Meh.
