just had to say that this game does not deserve the high rating, simply because it is really boring. One of those games that drag on with no appeal, excitement or motivation. Don't know why people are going on about the great graphics, I find it quite washed out looking, very average. Sorry I'm not one to give detailed analysis, but try the demo before you buy.
I don't recommend this game.

Tales of Lagoona 2: Peril at Poseidon Park
Return to the undersea world of Lagoona and save Poseidon Park from closing down!
I didn't like this game at all. It's one of those where you have to sell items to make money and make repairs, ie to fix the amusement park. Apart from not really liking these games, it was very slow paced, music was annoying and overall a drag to play. I lasted about 3 minutes.
I don't recommend this game.

I agree with 'been there done that' comment, there is nothing new or special about this game. Graphics very average and it is just a matter of wandering around finding objects. If you like a bit of story or interesting characters, this isn't it. With the high rating I had hopes but was really disappointed.
I don't recommend this game.

Not sure what all the raving is about. What is good about this game is nothing different to any other HOG, and there is nothing new or compelling about it.
I agree with a couple of other reviewers that this game is probably good for kids. I don't see much of an interesting story here, no atmosphere, not real artistry. What's worse, there is no humour in it, which is a saving grace in alot of games of this genre.
Sure the graphics are ok, but nothing spectacular. The mini games are annoying in my opinion - simply, there is nothing of interest to make it worthwhile. I found most of the other games in this series to be the same, but now it's getting really old.
I don't recommend this game.

This game has an engaging story, it may have been done before, but it is told with great characters, good graphics and voice over, making it endearing and refreshing.
The best thing about it really is the characters, combined with beautiful graphics. I would have given it 4 stars due to some flaws, but I am surprised that it has only rated 3 and believe it deserves a boost in ratings. The flaws are a widescreen function that doesn't work, and some HOS where the objects are impossible to find. The puzzles range from fantastic to mediocre. Another flaw is that it is too short, but in a way it leaves you wanting more, rather than being bored and looking forward to it ending, like a lot of games lately.
Overall, it had a good combination of HOS (not too much), cut scenes, and adventure to suit my taste.
Well done developers, and I hope to see more like this soon.
I recommend this game!

The first hour or so of this game made me feel it was going to be exceptional, but after about an hour it became boring. Early on it had great graphics, a good balance of HOS, cut scenes/voiceover, and puzzles. This quickly changed though, and it became one HOS after another, no cut scenes pretty much until the bonus play. The story premise was good, but wasn't developed well, far too much reading/journal, which would have been better to develop with characters. Puzzles were either too easy, or instructions just didn't make sense. It just wasn't any fun.

This game starts off really well. Great graphics, the story is set up nicely, and good voiceovers. I started off feeling really excited about it, then it took me on a meandering course of hidden object search, didn't follow through on developing the story, I forgot what I was trying to do, and felt like I was wasting my time.
Quite alot of hidden object scenes that were repeeated - same objects again and again, a complete no-no. I don't really go for puzzles that have me pulling my hair out, but these were ridiculously easy, kind of pointless really. The bonus play didn't seem to have a point to it, no story, no purpose that I could decipher.
It feels like a shame that the game had so much potential, it's almost as though the developers started off trying to make a great game, and then gave up.
I don't recommend this game.

Drab visuals, unispiring storyline/characters, repetitive HOS. I don't understand why people are rating this game so highly. The story is not developed well, and with all the repeatetive HOS you forget what it was anyway. The graphics are not clear, particularly in the junkpile HOS, where I was so bored that I just waited for the hint to recharge, I don't want to damage my eyes thanks! I can see they've tried to create a story by using a fairly new approach of creating lifelike characters/cut scenes, but these are empty, and don't leave an impression. Overall, it feels as though the developers were going through the motions, not putting an effort in. In some games this works anyway, but not in this one.
I don't recommend this game.

This is nowhere near as good as the first game. I guess if all you want is to wander around looking for objects this is a fine game, good graphics. The game play is ok, but nothing new. What I really liked about the first one was that the characters and cut scenes really developed a good story and made me interested in solving the puzzles, finding the objects etc. The story here doesn't really develop anything on the first one, and the characters are boring, no motivation or inspiration, not adding anything to the game play.
I don't recommend this game.

PuppetShow: Lost Town
After discovering a new system of caves, the entire town is excited to explore, until Suzy is kidnapped by a mechanical beast!
This game has good graphics, storyline ok. But it's missing important features, the result is you are just running around trying to figure out what to do next. There are a lot of HOS which I would describe as 'junkpile' - not what I consider to be a feature of an excellent game. I can see it has good points, but am surprised people seem to like it so much. There is no map, no hint button (except in the HOS), no journal, and tools are tucked away in a device you have to constantly open up to see what you have. I found all of this very tedious and agree with the other reviewer that said it is a 'memory game', ie trying to remember what goes where, what tools you have etc. I just want to relax into it, not have to rack my brain or run around trying to remember what interactive scenes there are or which tools I have. There is a strategy guide, but I see no point in just getting all the info from that, a hint button or map to indicate where the interactive scenes are would have made this game a good one. A journal helps to build the story and gives you ideas of what is needed as well. As it is I can't be bothered finishing it.
