A bit different than other's but I enjoyed the whole story line. I found the game ran smoothly with logical steps along the way. The map helped a lot and the magnifying glass was a nice added touch that gave me a feeling of reality while playing out the story. Overall, it's an excellent game with quite a number of characters and a 50's detective "feel" about it. I did find it amusing though, to see a phone dial working backward and wondered why plaster needed a solvent? Kudos to the journal that allows the gamer to replay scenes. Nice one!

As this is a game offered on other sites, (facebook, etc) I would have bought it, having played for free...but will not bother to buy a game that requires real money to advance or repeat scenes. Sorry, but even though I rate this with 3 stars for being a good game, it looses 2 stars for having to pay out. I won't be buying it.

I was excited to see another take off from the quirky fun game "City Of Fools" so happily bought it. Such a waste of money. If there had been more open houses, buildings, etc, it might have been enjoyable but the game was too short, suddenly ending and lacked the silliness City Of Fools had. I thought it was just spur of the moment thrown together without much thought. Too bad.

I bought this game when it first came out..and continue to play it time and time again. I've never grown tired of it. Return to Ravenhearst has the ability to pull you right into the scenes and feel like you're right there, actively doing things. Graphics are still, to this day, top notch, sound is excellent and the characters are believable. I found many of the puzzles still worth the tackling after all these years of replay... as normally puzzles in HOG's aren't all that challenging. I've gone back to replay time and time again, just to once more tackle those puzzles! If ever there were a game well worth investing in, Return to Ravenhearst is the # 1 game that instantly comes to mind! Other RTR fans have done justice to this amazing game, in their comments and ratings~very much worth reading them....so, without further a due.... I'm off to once more play Return to Ravenhearst! Happy gaming!

I've got to admit, this quirky little game puts a whole different spin on HO games out there! You're on your own, as you travel throughout the town, gathering much needed items for "them there" crazy townfolks.. Plenty of things to do, places to go and things to accomplish! Bright colors and wonderfully rendered characters are just part of what makes this very different and fun game worth trying out! I did the trial and immediately traded in a credit so I could continue playing! If anyone's in need of a break from the doom and gloom games .. here's one that's cheery, with splashes of smiles and giggles!
A new breed of virus has spread throughout the City of Oxford. You must search the city for a missing girl who holds the key to stopping the global epidemic!
Overall, I thought the game was alright, with a decent story line, less the ghosts, curses, etc..with good graphics and simple puzzles, if simple puzzles are your cuppa. My biggest disappointment was in how short the game was. I got the impression that the devs were trying to finish it up too quickly, so the next installment could be made. Not worth the investment as a CE. Maybe part 2 will be longer with a bit more to it?
