This game, you either love it or hate it. I have to agree that the story line is somewhat lame. What I think of the story is a 1920's mansion that is haunted. Other then that, I have to agree that the graphics is outstanding along with the sounds. Just right for Halloween. As for the challenge, there are couple ways they did it. First, finding Hidden objects without a timer. Others, you have to find objects with a timer. There's also, graphics that you have to compare the difference. On this, the right side is colored the other side is gray/white. What is also different is the word goes across the screen and you have to find it. With that, you can only miss three items.
In the beginning, I was not too cool with the Facebook issue. I liked to go on my own terms without trying to bet others but I do like to go see what others did with their mansions. So I don't care, if I bet them or not. I compete only for me.
Why I like this game? Even though there's no story plot, I enjoyed seeing walkers around the mansion. There's southern bells, skeletons, Halloween kids, there's even a man that turns into a dog at night (now that's cool). A haunted tree, well, three different pumpkins, even a man eaten tree. You can use your own imagination to do your own scary mansion or something light (there's also roses bush, tulips etc.). The challenge has both the timer and without timer (sad but you cannot turn it off if you don't like the timer). Well, it's Halloween after all.

My favorite season is Autumn and any mention of fall, I would tried. I normally don't like HOG games. First, just like books, I read from beginning to end. Once done, that;s it for me. I guess I read books only once. Same goes with HOG games. Few, I do purchase but when I come to the end,, I'm finished. That's why I don't want to spend money for a game that I play only once. But this gave me a pleasant surprised. It's a continuation from the previous games (which I'm going to try).. Love the graphics and the music. Challenge is just right for me and as for the storyline, well thought off. I do know by some previous comments about the other Otherworld games some like it other don't. What I'm going to do is go from one story to the other to see how all this fits in. I do know by this game, winter will come.

A nice Halloween game with different characters. Excellent visual and music. Some things that I don't like. First, instructions not the greatest. Still don't know the purpose of the magic. Second, you have to move the screen around.

The reason why I gave this a four star is because even though it's more then OK I really didn't love it either. I loved the music good for Halloween and as for the visual, they did an excellent job. Rooms looked realistic. This game has put me in the Halloween spirit. But, the solitaire is straight forward and it's not really challenging. As for the storyline, I't OK. I'm not a fan of zombies'.
Since this is the beginning of October and Halloween is coming up, I'll wait to purchase this. Even though I like this game, I'm going to wait to see if there is something better. If not, then I'll purchase this.

Well, a game with recipes. Loved the visual and the sound of the game. The challenging is good once I figured it out. I even tried one of the recipes and it was good. But I do feel sorry for the chiefs and the stress they have to go through. But in all, with all the stress, I still enjoyed this game. But honestly, try the recipes it's excellent.

To this very day, every Halloween I pull out this game to put me in the Halloween spirit. It;s not that challenging, but I make it challenging for me. It's fun to decorate the haunted house.

I have to say, but this game is cute.I was unsure of this free to play because of my past experience but I didn't have much problems like the other free to play games. I thought that the songs were all the same but noticed that each island has their own music. Even my husband was moving back and forth with the music. I have to agree, this is good in the morning with a cup of coffee.
