This has so much different stuff piled into it that it seems overwhelming (and amazing) at first but ultimately all those bells and whistles don't add up to much. The designers felt they had to throw in a bit of eveything, but it's weird to not have to finish parts of a level but somehow still end it. It's not very "rewarding" as you meander round and round looking for things that will enable you to go further, to look for even more things, and ultimately is not very interesting or challenging. The puzzles are the simplest, easiest ones I've ever encountered (and I'm one who regularly has to skip past many on HOG games). The quests and the tributes don't provide a satisfactory tactile reward as your found objects simply disappear off the board. Neither does the "Use" Box when it comes to unlocking a chest with a key. The designers had a "cool" idea for in-game play (let's have hidden things under the tiles, YAY!) but there is no real advancement or ultimate goal you feel like you're playing towards. While the graphics are generally beautiful, some are hokey looking like a bar of "gold" that looks like a bar of soap wrapped in paper. The details here are good but the overall concept never materialized. Designed ffrom the inside out, rather than the outside in. Also not being able to save a level is annoying as others have said
The graphics are not great, murky and "precious". I don't care for them at all. Very poor hinting approach. There is no map or hints outside of hidden object puzzles. It only allows you to drag a found object into the hint box to see how to use it. But the stage where it is to be used isn't accessible yet. If you get stuck the diary has a "hint" that also presents the same problem. There's no map like in other hidden object games. So if you get stuck - you have to pay for a strategy guide! How convenient for them.
This game is fun and differnet in that you have to match your icon to two others, but the graphics are the worst I've ever seen. The developers should have spent less time on the dancing skeletons in between phases and more time on the game itself. The icons are poorly drawn and defined and it is nearly impossible to see what the 'bonus' icon is. But the absolute worst is this hideous light wave that flows across the board blocking your view of it for a second. Make the game hard but don't make it impossible to see. It's frustrating enough to not want to play
I don't recommend this game.

This is one of the best and most creative storylines, fun to follow. Unfortunately it is spoiled by amateurish, hokey looking graphics that not only detracts from the enjoyment but in many cases makes objects impossibly hard to find.
This game is cute and fun, the graphics are not as crisp as some others, but it is very short. Much shorter than other games of this type. Not really worth the money.
this game is sweet and well designed but the graphics are overwhelming. The plates are way too ornate and overdesigned, not in a fun way, making it difficult to see the playing board and the replacement pieces dropping from so far above take too long to get there.
The bonus powerups are also very strange and hard to figure out - use the one on top and they all disappear, use the one on the bottom and you have multiples - but this isn't noted anywhere.
The story line following his travels is sweet but the book opening and closing is dopey looking. The little jigsaw puzzle of a location he visits after each level is completed is cute and a welcome break from playing the other modes.
This game could be really nice with better graphics.
I don't recommend this game.

It needs better, or should I say, any, instructions. The powerups are not explained nor are the things you're supposed to build (why?) There's a lot of flash and dazzle to awe you, but not much too the game itself. I kept playing thinking it would become self-explanatory but it never did.
It took a little while to get the hang of this game but is definitely worth it. Having to collect letters makes it fun and the skill level increases progressively but remains doable. Great sound effects and visuals and lots and lots of levels to keep you going. The game gives you plenty of time to get the level done.
Fun for about 5 minutes. Unsophisticated design and only 11 levels - with one puzzle per level (total of 11 puzzles). Sound and graphics are poor with no volume control, only on/off, and the decorative graphics get in the way of being able to press your selection.
Different take on Match 3 makes it interesting but the quality of the graphics is extremely poorly developed; very amateurish in appearance and needs a lot of work to come up to the standard of today's games. Also you can't save your progress or character so if you leave, you have to start over from Square One.
