This game is very easy and somewhat repetitive but it does have a certain charm. I would recommend it to newcomers of the genre as I think it wouldn't be challenging enough for more experienced players. The hidden object scenes are well done and you have plenty of hints available. The mini games are also easy, I quite liked the inclusion of spot the difference. The game is fairly short and I completed it in around 4 hours. This game was part of a mystery triple pack (that cost under £5) so for me it was worth the money. So if you ever see it on offer, buy it :)
It has nice graphics, this is the only redeeming feature in this game. Sadly the game itself is repetitive and very easy. The hidden object scenes are easy enough and if you can't locate an object you can click on the objects name and it will give you a silhouette of said object. There is also a rechargable hint button. I found it annoying when the hidden object scenes were in the same place using some of the same objects, where is the challenge in that? The storyline is ok, but nothing to really keep the players interest. It is also very short, I completed it in around 2 hours.
A mysterious fortune teller has foreseen her demise at midnight this very day. Can you find the soul who seeks to kill Madame Fate? You be the detective.
This game is great fun. It is clever, unique and quite funny! It is a timed hidden object game with puzzles in between. The hidden object scenes are quite difficult and there are only a limitted amount of hints available. Some of the objects are very small and this may put some people off. It can get quite frustrating and tense at times, but for me it added to the challenge. The puzzles are really taxing and may not be to everyones taste. If you are looking for a challenge and don't mind your brain working overtime then this one is for you!
I recommend this game!

This was one of my first hidden object games and I must say I really ejoyed it! The hidden object scenes are well done and the objects fairly easy to find. Navigation around the mansion can be difficult and there were times that I wasn't sure where to go next. The graphics are good and there are some eerie moments that add to the enjoyment. The storyline is very good and it was one of those games that are addictive and you dont want to turn it off! The puzzles are good and range from easy to quite diffcicult! I wish all HOG were like this one.
I really enjoyed this game. It is really different from other hidden object games in that you put objects back into the scene rather than taking them out. The game is fairly easy, and you collect hints in the hidden object scenes in the form of cards (usually 2 per scene) which is a nice twist. The puzzles are straight forward and mostly pairing games. The only down side is that it is too short and I completed it in a few hours, but for a few pounds, it was worth it!
This is a pure hidden object game and although it is fairly repetitive it has a great charm about it. Sometimes the hidden object scenes are rather cluttered and I needed to use the hints it offers quite frequently! It is a timed game so it can get very tense! The story line is really good and keeps you wondering what is going to happen next. The puzzles (which open locked doors) were really hard, and if you asked for help you get time knocked off. Overall a highly enjoyable game, but not perfect.
It is a classic point and click adventure game with hidden object scenes clearly marked by sparkles. The hidden object scenes are well done and relate directly to the storyline. The graphics are not too bad but the cut scenes are a bit strange (not animated) and very slow. The game has hints but they do recharge quite slowly which can be frustrating. The storyline is good, but doesn't have a lot about vampires as the title suggests. Overall I would give it a 3 1/2.
This game is very enjoyable! I like the mixture of hidden object scenes and adventuring. The puzzles are good too, and not too difficult. The storyline is very interesting and keeps the player engaged. The graphics are good and the music suits the gloomyness of the plot, there are also some spooky sound effects that makes the game even more eerie. There is quite a bit of travelling backwards and forwards but this did not bother me. I am looking forward to playing the other games in the series!
I really like this game. I love the dark storyline and the graphics are really great. It is a fairly easy game so it won't take you very long to get through it, which might put some people off. It does end rather abruptly, but knowing there was a sequel this didn't bother me too much! If you are looking for a game with a relaxed pace and interesting storyline then this one is for you!
I played the trial and was so impressed I decided to buy it straight away! It is a beautiful game with lovely dreamlike graphics. The storyline and music are both very good. The hidden object games take a different approach than the norm, which I enjoyed. The puzzles are good, with a mixture of both hard and easy, and a handy skip button for the games that were frustrating! Overall a very enjoyable game !
