A great HOA game overall, excellent puzzles, well done VO for the characters, hints if needed. My only disappointment is it leaves you hanging at the end of CH 10!!! There is no finality to the game and no sequel either! I'd only buy it if it was on sale or with a free game coupon.
I recommend this game!

Big Fish Casino
Blackjack, Texas Hold'em Poker, Video Poker, Roulette, Slots, and Word Ace in a gorgeous, social package! Play, compete, show off, and make friends!
I actually already own this game for my iPhone and I can't say enough great things about it. I can only imagine how much more fun I'll have now that it's on my PC. There is something for everyone, Black Jack, All kinds of Slots with great payouts and even one that if you hit a big payout, you earn a free BF game! They have many of the other standard casino type games as well. It's a great way to make a network of new n old friends, buy presents, drinks, snacks n so much more!! You are entitled to free tokens every so many hours and if that's not enough for you they offer excellent coin packages to buy at great prices and even better sales!! I can spend hours upon hours playing with friends and meeting new people. Good Luck at the BF Casino and hope to meet you around!
If you are looking for a review that recaps the original description given by the developers in the Buy or Try section, that's not what I give, I give an honest opinion of the good and the bad of the game with blurbs of details on what is in the content so I hope this helps in your decision to purchase or not. This is definitely worth buying! Excellent story line and graphics. VO's were very well done! Has an original plot and a lot of aspects of a CE game with so much to do at a SE price.First off there are NO HOS! No map although you really wouldn't need it since the hint button works very well, there is a diary which helps you understand the story as it progresses. I only have one complaint, there seems to be parts that are only active in a Bonus Chapter that doesn't exist! There is no CE game so why would it reference Bonus content, thus is lacked that 5th star for me. The mini games are some what new and fairly easy to medium difficulty. You have a little friend called Benny that will provide invaluable help through out the game and there are many achievements to win all throughout the whole story, it also alerts you as you progress as to how far into the game you are. All in all for a SE game, it's A MUST HAVE to anyone's collection. I look forward to a sequel and soon I hope!
I recommend this game!

Reality Show: Fatal Shot Collector's Edition
After a man is murdered on a hit reality TV show, you are called in to uncover the truth behind the crime.
ERS developers have done it again in Reality Show: Fatal Shot! The graphic are excellent, the VOs are extemely well done! Wonderful CutScenes and a Great storyline with plenty of twists! There is a good mix of iHOS and puzzles (some old favs and a few new ones) ranging from easy to mind engaging. Several levels of play to choose from. The iHOS were fairly clear and not always a junk pile scene. The music is okay, sometimes not appropriate for the particular scene but decent none the less. There is a map but not interative so there is a fair amount of back n forth but not too annoying. Although I was disappointed there was not more to do special as in most CE games, the bonus Chapter was good enough for me and the length of the regular game was good, not too long or too short. In the end you are left with definate potential for a sequel and a good time playing! Have a great time in the newest HOPA game from ERS!
This game gave me a new thrill for HOPA games. I was quickly drawn into the storyline and only got better from there. LOVED the new puzzles, some extremely hard. There is a journal and a map(not interactive), the Hint button works outside of HOS but doesn't tell you where to go. The HOS were small junk piles but clear enough to be fun and some are great interactive ones. The VOS are amazing! When the game said best played with speakers on it was not kidding! It reminded me of Silence of the Lambs with the character Hannibal Lecter as the voice of this games villan. My only disappointment was that I didn't spring for the CE, I feel like I missed out on a great Bonus Chapter and maybe even some extra play during the regular main story. I can't wait to see more from The Brink of Consciousness!!!!
The residents of Bitterford, Maine have fallen prey to a terrible curse. It’s up to you to unravel the series of mysterious events that led to the town’s downfall and uncover the evil that was responsible.
For the first time I am almost speechless by my disappointment in a Mystery Case Files game. I own all the others and give them the highest praises, so Im not sure where this one went wrong. The graphics are poor, the VOs do not sync, the use of real live actors didn't even up the appeal. The game moves slowly, HOS are basic, even the puzzles were very easy. It took me 20 minutes of the Demo to see and agree with all the other Fishies in their disappointment in this game. I would not buy the CE edtion nor would it even be worth the money for the SE or daily special at $2.99!
This game is definately for beginners or those more advanced players looking for a mindless time occupier. The graphics are C-rated at best, the VOs are awful. The game plays like its holding your hand the whole way through. The puzzles are so easy my young child figured them out! It was soo easy that I felt like I was getting dumber by the minute playing and there was definately no enjoyment for me, but then I am in between an intermediate to advanced player. For a beginner, I highly recommend, anything above that play demo first before purchasing.

I found myself rather disappointed in this game. Overall it's pretty good but I was disappointed to find that I paid for a CE and really got an SE with a bonus chapter that could have been left out since it was pretty much covered in the main game play. The graphics were grainy and the VOs poorly done. The puzzles posed hardly any challenge and the cut scenes left much to be desired. There is a journal and a map that allows you to pop to the different locations(which does cut down on going back n forth a lot), they used real people in the cutscenes(not a bonus in this case), 3 modes of play and a hint button that works outside the HOS. The HOS are interactive and mostly junk piles. I'll chalk this one up to lesson learned, play demo before buying. I would have been happier with the SE edition since the CE wasn't worth the price. There are no extra items to collect or activities to accomplish, the ending still leaves room for a sequel and the bonus chapter is a prequel than a wrap up. I'm not going to recommend the CE simply because you can get the same in the SE unless you just have to spend the extra money to see the extra prequel chapter.
I actually had the privilege to do the Beta test on this game and was hooked from there even with the bugs. Now that the finished product is here it is even better than expected! Original storyline with new and imaginative usefull items, such as the Hologram Cat, I think its one of the best features! This is straight adventure, no HOS, just find your items as you explore the house. The puzzles are a nice mix of easy to very challenging. There are no extra items to collect unlike most CE games but that doesn't take away from the game play. It is a nice length of game play and well worth buying! The graphics are extremely well done and the VOs are amazing! The Cut Scenes could be a little clearer but overall they are good. Several levels of play challenge are available. I will definately be playing this one more than once! So dive into the mystery and try not to loose your head!
The story line left a lot to be desired, not what you would expect from a game dealing with the Knights Templar. The graphics were grainy and cartoonish for the most part. The HOS were either straight forward or interactive with your inventory and some of the inventory just sat around forever only to be used in an HOS. The VOs were badly done in my opinion. The puzzles were not much of a challenge at all. It also lacked clear direction and I found the hint button to be a needed asset much to my disappointment. You do get the button to charge faster as you collect birds throughout the game which made it a little easier to swallow. Im glad I purchased on sale because it definately was not worth paying full price for. It makes for a decent rainy day game when you don't want much of a brain stimulator. Im going to recommend the game because everyone deserves a break and others may find it interesting for beginners.
