Unique story, with good and bad statues coming to life, and some cool mini-games. The story, however, didn’t make sense and the ending(s) were no help. Did the evil animator make good statues, too? Also, it became a relay race with a lot of back and forth. The scenes all had the same vibe and it was a little mono to me. Again, I like to dislike my villains and was unsure who the bad guy was.

Liked it and the graphics were nice but the player is repeatedly told that he was a feared pirate. The skull and crossbones say it all. Lots of reading, listening, and relay. Technical issues caused me to go back over parts. For example, after the rose is picked it still shows unless you magnify. The map key shows up before you put it on the bulletin board. Several glitches like that make it a 3 star for me. The ending was a let-down. Why did I give all my doubloons to that floater for them to not reunite?

Nice balance of HO, puzzles, and story bits that keep your interest up. Never monotonous or over scripted! Movements had a purpose without becoming a relay race. Great graphics and lots of locales. Fun extra’s with a chance to play your favorite games again. Plus, the nice crazy lady left a “surprise” so there could be a sequel with a mental institution break-out. Nice. Cons: villain had a sad story. I like to dislike my villains. Also, some puzzles could use better instructions but still a great game

The graphics are so nice, you will wish there had been more stops around the globe! The only game I have played multiple times and still love it! Maybe an untimed option for newbies would be good but it is fun and challenging.
I recommend this game!

Endearing characters, great graphics, cute interactions, and lots of potential caused me to buy the sequel but.....Expensive items required so much play that I started to memorize object placement. Too much work for quick purchases. First, more choices for styles, colors and objects. Pick the floor and walls before the furniture. Vary the play. If items are going to be 10 rounds to obtain, offer a variety of games or some type of quick side jobs to get cash levels up or just for interest. Love the interaction with the dog so I would still recommend both versions.
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.

As a fan, I wanted to finish the series. Not so much anymore. True, it was the “collectors” edition but collecting zit-popping’s and nail clippings? (Yes, you read it right.) Even allowing for artistic license, I could not get past the baby fetish or the out-of-period props. This series lost its way with Charles being enslaved by his mother, the circus, an asylum - yet still finding the time to build an underground city. The morphing items required speed and there was no “skip” option. No more detective work: Emma is on her own.
A mysterious fortune teller has foreseen her demise at midnight this very day. Can you find the soul who seeks to kill Madame Fate? You be the detective.

This game is perfection. Imaginative with great graphics, characters, games, and HO's. The soundtrack completes the game experience. A fun homage to the old fashioned carnival.

Great game! If you like old time New Orleans and horse-drawn carriages, you will love this game. Beautiful graphics with a spooky story and some do-it-yourself Voodoo. What's not to like?

Although visually attractive, Syberia is hard to follow. The tasks do not sync with the action. The in-game instructions are not helpful and I ended up listening to the same dialogue several times while trying to find out what the avatar was supposed to do. After exiting and going to a walk-through, I knew what to do but still could not manipulate it. I think this has potential but the main idea is to play for fun.
