First, this game is gorgeous! Second, there are lots of choices within the game, e.g., level, type of game, # of puzzle pieces for specific games like jigsaw puzzles, etc. Third, game play is smooth. I played last night and didn't want to stop! (Don't forget you can always take it for a test drive if you're not sure.)
I was SO happy to see this offered on Big Fish. If you love the Hellas games, you will love this one, too. And then I realized the title said Part 1...WOOHOO!!! Thanks, devs, and please keep it up.
I'm really enjoying this game. There are hours and hours of play available here, not all of it is doing HOs. When you get the tokens for the arcade section, there are lots of different puzzle types to choose from, which earn you money to reconstruct the park. Some I like and some are very hard for me (just the way my brain works, I guess). There are Sudoku, Match 3, 1 Up-1 Down, Solitaire, and a host of other types of games to play. I think it's definitely worth the price of admittance!
First off, if you don't like lighthearted, quirky games, you won't like this one. However, if those qualities appeal to you, I think you will have a great time with this game. I loved the first Lagoona game and was so happy to see a second one (and I hope there will be more!). It's as good, if not better, than the first one. There are a lot of tasks to take care of in every screen and I enjoyed them all. If you are a fan of the dark, scary stories with the convoluted plots, don't bother with this one, but, if you are like me and you like a bit of silliness in your games, this is a winner. This is a long game, too, so I really feel like I got my money's worth.
For my taste, this game is practically perfect. I love the combination of different types of game styles, and it is a nice, long game. It took me several nights to finish it (and I did so sadly), and I couldn't wait to get to it each day. I don't know what the developers could do to improve this game, but I truly hope there is another addition to the series or at least another one similar. (To the best of my knowledge, the only similar series is 4 Elements and 4 Elements II, which I also love. BTW, if anyone knows of any other games like this, please let me know. Thx.)
I recommend this game!

I have a few Pop Cap titles and have enjoyed them, but this one is at the bottom of my list for fun play. I'm used to them repeating locations, but what I didn't expect was the repetition of the same puzzles over and over. Not my favorite game by a long shot. And while I'm at it, I totally agree w/the pp who mention the upside down American flag in one of the scenes; that is just wrong. I also object to the use of all of the smoking items. Really, there are a lot of other things that can be used in these "family" puzzles besides cigars and such.
I'm not any kind of expert in gaming, but I have to say this game kept me fascinated for hours. I love the matches, which are the primary games here, but hidden objects, pipelines, blocks, etc., were a lot of fun, too. Definitely a game that kids could play (possibly with a little help); there's nothing objectionable or violent here, just cute faeries in trouble. I loved this game and will definitely revisit many times.
