I enjoyed playing this game. The graphics and sound were great. I loved the park scenery, however, it was annoying to have to keep going into the dungeon to organize my "clues" on that dumb board and collect all those tokens to talk to the old man in the prison. That really broke the flow of the game for me and after a while I was just bored and wanted it to be over. Wish they could have incorporated that stuff in a more entertaining way.
I enjoyed this game from beginning to end, great illustrations and graphics, wonderful fairy tale world with fairies, elves and ogres. LOTS to do, many great locations that deserve to be looked at for a while to fully appreciate and discover.
The game overall wasn't super challenging but that's okay, sometimes I like an easier exploration game. The villains were a little cheesy but whatever. The sidekick animals were so cute, although they don't run around helping you or anything, they just give you special gifts when you feed them. The puzzles were not very hard and the hidden picture games were the ones where you find one object and use it tof ind the next object and so on, so it mixes it up a little for people who play a lot of these HOGs.
My ONLY complaint was that at the end it looked like I had the option of two doors to pass through, and after I made my choice I was lead to a cliff hanger ending that felt very unfulfilling and now I have to wonder if I should play the whole game again just to try the other door? I also feel like I may have had some objects left in my possession before the game ended but I couldn't go back and check so I guess I'll never know... Lol oh well. They'd better come out with a sequel!!
I recommend this game!

I bought this game before I finished the demo and so glad I did! I am LOVING this game right now - music is awesome, movie quality, illustrations are creative, awesome and really fun to discover scene to scene. The story is cool, if you love pirates which I do :) The animation parts are really good too, very creepy. Not too hard, you have the option of doing a Mahjong game instead if a hidden picture scene, which I like. Very fun game, hard to put down. I highly recommend!
Yes, this game was on the easier side but that's exactly what I needed, something light and enjoyable. I love the Robin Hood stories and was happy to lose myself in this world whenever I needed to relax. The story was good, the music was Great! Very soothing lute playing through most hidden picture scenes. The character animation was on the remedial side but it didn't matter, background scenes were beautiful. Puzzles were fun, the use of a bow and fire arrow was pretty cool too :) Loved this one, would definitely recommend for a lighter good time
So happy I bought this game, lots of variety in locations, great puzzles that are different from the norm and a good story with more depth than usual. Very enjoyable, I will def play this one again in the future.
At first I thought this game was going to be good & creepy - the graphics are good, the music is GREAT, good atmosphere and storyline, BUT you don't go anywhere! I was just running back and forth, back and forth in the same 3 general locations. And in the end when I was just ready to be done with it, they hit you with like 10 consecutive hidden picture scenes. Really called it in. I got to a point where it wasn't even fun anymore, seeing the same rooms over and over, I just needed to finish it to get my money's worth. So glad it's over.
Great game, enjoyable, but I had to check the walkthrough guide a LOT more than I would have liked. I guess I like games that are a little easier to figure out what needs to happen next. I agree with other reviewers that after releasing the patients from their fears, the patients should leave but they don't. The ending was a little disappointing, all that work to help what's his name and for what? The journey through the asylum was cool, a lot to do, but very frustrating for me at the same time. I look forward to getting into something new now :)
Excited by the demo, I bought this CE hoping for more scary zombie stuff, but for the most part when you do see them, they're just shuffling by in the distance or passing by a window outside, nothing truly scary or shocking. Definitely a let down. The game was long, and challenging, graphics and sound were great, but overall kind of a bore. Too bad the SE version wasn't available when I bought it or I would have gotten that one. Good way to kill time, but not very memorable.
Excellent game, I'm still playing it now but have to review it before I forget to. What imagination and creepiness!! I feel like I've been playing it forever but that's not a bad thing! The town part felt a little stretched out but then on to a whole new area with tunnels and cliffs and even more ghosts and creepy atmosphere. Love the score, LOVE the graphics, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes creepy. On top of all that, I appreciate the character I'm playing, his down to earth attitude and the text writing for him. I personally am a little wry so it suits me. I also like how they build suspense with the little thought clouds that pop up in moments of anxiety. Highly enjoyable game - kudos :)
