Anna Dupre and Jannet Carrel have been best friends since childhood. Every year they plan a best friend get-together, a tradition they both look forward to all year long. This year, Anna has planned a very special event that combines Anna and Jannet's tradition, with the Crystal Kingdom's traditional Ball. Unbeknownst to Jannet, Prince Nicholas will propose to her best friend by placing the traditional Glass Slipper upon Anna's royal foot, unbeknownst to the Royal Family, this tradition has been cursed to become crystallized just like Cinderella's Glass Slippers!
Collectibles/Morphing Objects: (CE version only) Each scene has 2 of those famous 4Friends Opaque Collectibles that are really well-blended into the scenery and one of my personal favorite collectibles overall. (my all-time favorite CE feature are non-linear morphs from the original DP series) There are 58 Opaque Mice which unlocks 7 Crystal Mice when you find 6-12-21-30-39-48-58 Opaque Mice. Each scene also has a Morphing Object, some of which are well-hidden and challenging to spot at first glance. There is an available pull-out Tab that tells you how many morphs & collectibles remain in each scene.
Gadget/Helper: There is a Clock Gadget named Celeste who is the Keeper of the Crystal Kingdom. Celeste requires a Crystal Tear in exchange for an Anti-Magic Sphere, to break the spell cast by a sorceress, upon the Royal Family members who have been cursed, including your best friend. Each time you offer Celeste a Crystal Tear, she enlightens you with the backstory of the tear's owner. After receiving the Sphere, you must "fight" the animal that ensnares the royal member via a Match 3 game, collecting the correct animal prints against your opponent. The Celeste Gadget is used 5 times to "fight" a Wolf, a Fox, an Owl, a Squirrel, and a Bear, and she also gives you Anti-Magic Powder for the Crystal Tears of Cinderella and the Princess.
Hidden Object Scenes: There are 22 Hidden Object Scenes +7 in the CE Bonus Chapter and a ton of smaller zoom zone hop's. There are Interactive List Finds, Silhouetted Shape Finds, Keywords in Sentence Finds, Replace Items, and Spot the Difference Finds available. There are no alternate puzzles offered.
Mini-Games: There are 38 Mini-Games +11 in the CE Bonus Chapter and several Pair-Matching tasks. This is one of my favorite developers, and I hope they read this review because I'd like to throw a word of cation their way concerning their mini-games. Avid HOPA fans are also avid reviewers and clearly have picked up on the fact that the mini-games are all recycled from one game to the next. The games in The Crystal Tear are the same games in Mark of Fate, and the same games offered in basically all their other series. They have included the same Gadget as well, where you have to feed the gadget a crystal tear to learn the backstory. When everything is the same from one game to the next, avid fans are going to notice, and we have noticed according to the reviews. How many fans didn't bother to download this game after reading the reviews? I'm just hoping the devs will realize that they may be turning off a lot of regular players because of the lack of new games and features...sometimes the story alone isn't enough to tip the scales!?!
Bonus Chapter: (CE version only) Rewind the clock 40 years and delve into the Fairy Godmother's origins in this somewhat lengthy bonus chapter that takes place over 8 Scene Locations. There are 11 Mini-Games, 3 pair-matching games, and 6 Hidden Object Scenes. Celeste doesn't make an appearance, however, there is a Magic Book gadget that is used a couple of times that includes a small mini-game of tracing lines. and you will continue searching for the final 16 Opaque Mice and 8 Morphing Objects which will unlock the final 2 Crystal Mice.
Collector's Edition Version Extra's 8 Wallpapers,13 Concept Art Pictures, 5 Screensavers, 5 Music Soundtracks, 34 Movie Video Cutscenes, 24 Achievements (9 achievements are available in 3 category progressions) 18 Replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 19 Replayable Mini-Games, 58 Opaque Crystal Mice (2 per scene) 29 Morphing Objects (1 per scene) 6 Main Chapters +Bonus Chapter and a Built-In Strategy Guide.

I absolutely love this developer because they clearly pour their heart and soul into the games they create and I've yet to see a cookie-cutter game come down the pike from them! I loved the color choices and I loved the pictorial adventure storyline concept, I even loved how the pictures were inside squares to represent an entire landscape image. The only complaint I have is that the biggest percentage of the Mosaic levels are a tad too easy-breezy.
There are 200 Mosaic puzzles that can be played in a Casual mode where the numbers are crossed off one by one, or and Advanced mode where the numbers are crossed off once the entire row or column has been completed. There are 6 Tile style options, including my favorite Lego Tiles, and there are 10 downloadable Wallpaper backgrounds included!
There are two Hint types available, one that fills in a Random Cell, and one that allows you to choose a 3 Across & 3 Down (in a Plus + pattern) area. You can earn up to 3-Stars per level, one for Completing the Level, one for Making no more than 1 Mistake, and one for making No Mistakes at all.
Mosaics are really addicting puzzle games and they aren't difficult to learn, if you can count, you can master them! (assuming they are based on logic because some are literally Guesser Griddlers) The Mosaic Grid has Rows & Columns and there are Numbers or groups of numbers on the edges of each of those rows & columns, each group of numbers must be separated by at least one empty cell. You simply fill in or cross off cells by process of elimination, sometimes it's easier to figure out where a filled-in cell isn't possible, for example, a 2-cell slot can't contain the required 3-cell number so those cells would be crossed out. Larger numbers are the easiest to figure out, if there are 20 cells in a row or column and the number of required cells is 18, you would fill in all but the first and last 2 cells, (16 cells) until, by process of elimination, you figure out where the final 2 filled in cells go because those 16 cells will be filled in regardless of where they begin or end...that sounds way more complicated then it actually is! You really need to get a "hands-on" the puzzle to see for yourself just how easy, and addicting, they can be :)

Where there's a Will, there's a Way, the William Rogers Way. Will is a NY Police Counselor with the unique ability to enter one's mind to access their memories thanks to a trial medication study he was administered during college. The pharmaceutical company went belly up so Will decided to put his newfound super-powers to good use fighting crime. For years, he hasn't told a soul about his unusual side-effects, but today he's not so sure it's a secret. Will has just become a pon in a chess game with deadly stakes. This is not the Way Will thought his side effect would come to fruition, at the mercy of a madman who calls himself The Designer!
Gadget/Helper: Once again MHG has included a gimmicky Gadget, the Mindframe Gadget which is used 7 times during the Main Game and once in the CE Bonus Chapter. When Will Rogers enters someone's mind to access their memories, you must fine-tune the clarity by dragging and dropping digital sections into the scene. There are only a handful of items to place so this game can be zipped through fairly quickly. There once was a time when MHG didn't need to offer gimmicky gadgets to make their games amazing!
Morphing Objects/Collectibles (CE version only) Each of the 27 Scenes, throughout the Main Game and Bonus Chapter, has a Morphing Object and Collectible Eye Symbol. There is a Morphing Object in all of the Hidden Object Scenes as well, but they morph at a fairly fast pace and are easily spotted. The Eye Symbols are super easy to locate but there were a few of the scene Morphs that were somewhat evasive. I believe you can return to the scene to pick up any missed Morphs by clicking on the Collectibles Tab to the left of the Inventory Bar. There once was a time when MHG had some of the best morphs in town.
Hidden Object Scenes: There are 16 Hidden Object Scenes, 4 Zoom Zone HOP's and 7 Gadget related HO puzzles (+3 HO scenes, 1 Zoom Zone HO and 1 Gadget related HO Puzzle in the CE Collector's Edition) The scene locations are unappealing and unimaginative, the objects aren't even remotely "hidden" in fact, I became so bored with them that I added my own challenge of guessing which item was on the list, and I was about 95% accurate in average. Most of the scenes are Silhouetted Shape find variations but there are Matching Pairs Finds, Interactive & Listed Item Finds and Find & Replace as well. You will play a repetitive HO scene each time you enter someone's Memories by placing silhouetted outlines correctly into the scene. If you miss a Hidden Object Scene Morph you can replay the HO scene to pick up the morph in the CE Extra's menu. There once was a time when MHG's offered beautiful, creative, cutting-edge HO scenes that were detailed and fun...what happened?
Mini-Games: No need to put on your thinking caps today folks because most of the 16 Mini-Games (+4 in the CE Bonus Chapter) are nothing more than mindless tasks of entering codes by simply clicking on individual tumblers, etc. There are a lot of mechanical type puzzles where you connect wires, set gages or dials, tinker with gears, etc. to get machinery back up and running, that were decent puzzles but they aren't very complex or challenging. There was a time when MHG was the cutting-edge new kid on the block and they blew those cookie-cutter developers out of the water ...now THEY are THOSE other developers!
Bonus Chapter: (CE version only) The Will Rogers show must go on, and it does, approximately 2 weeks after wrapping up the Case. Foul play is suspected when two medical research applicants mysteriously disappear and all roads seem to lead to Dr. Pierre Mortimer, from TP1. This is a short Chapter with only 3 Hidden Object Scenes, a Zoom Zone HOP, a single Mindframe Gadget HO scene and 4 Mini-Games available. There are 3 Hidden Object Scene Morphs, 6 Scene Morphing Objects, and 6 Collectible Eyes remaining. After completing this Bonus Chapter you can access the Treasure Hunt and Ultimate HO Puzzle in the CE Extra's menu.
Collector's Edition Extra's: 12 Wallpapers (haha, the other 8 appear after actually completing the game...never gets the #'s right...never) 5 Concept Art Pictures with Before/After Slider Bar, 10 Music Soundtracks, 16 Replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 27 Collectible Eye Symbols, 27 Scene Morphing Objects, 16 HOP Morphing Objects, Case Files, Treasure Hunt (return to the scene to search for an item per scene) an Ultimate Hidden Object Puzzle (not nearly as ultimate as anticipated) 4 Main Chapters +Bonus Chapter and a Built-In Strategy Guide.

This "Top Reviewer" is one of our most frequent game reviewers. We think you'll trust what they have to say and find their reviews helpful and informative.
I have not played the previous two Magic Farm games, however, I did watch several videos of Magic Farm 2: Fairy Lands and THAT one is clearly more appealing! The "farm" is bright and colorful, the "pests" are adorable little critters and the "plants" evolve into really interesting flora. Farming on a river bed is about as unimaginative as it gets and a huge concept mistake because there's no curb appeal, nothing to look at but water, even the pests were poor choices. Mosquitos that were larger than the octopus? (they lay eggs in standing or stagnant water, they don't eat vegetation??) Clams that clock in at about 30 MPH, (clams are filter feeders, clams can retract their foot to squirt water & project themselves laterally to "swim" in short bursts using the currents) and Octopi (octopuses also acceptable) that look like they were hybrid beluga whale mutations (and also don't eat vegetation, they eat mostly cephalopods which btw, includes Clams, therefore, I should be able to just let nature take its course without having to thump these poor creatures with a shovel?!? Now one could argue that it's a fantasy farm and these are fantasy creatures...then why make them ordinary, everyday creatures instead of the fantasy creatures offered in Magic Farm 2? First Concept Flaw: Poor Location & Pest choices, Graphically speaking.
In the Casual Mode, pests are weaker and the plants require less water. In Hardcore Mode, the pests are stronger, plants require more watering, and Robin may get thirsty as well. There are 17 Trophies to earn that reward you with various skills, such as Increasing the damage to bugs by 3%. The trophies should have been more numerous, trophies should have been awarded more frequently as you gain new experience boosts so that you were constantly earning percentage increments over several categories. Farming skills would award you a % discount for purchasing water, plants, or decorations. The dragon should have several trophy achievement-skill upgrades as well. Another missed opportunity concept flaw that would have incorporated more Time Management aspects into the game.
This is a very simplistic yet addictive game that's easy to learn, but difficult to master. You buy a basic starter plant, water it when the droplets appear, harvest the blooms, and annihilate any critter who dares to attack your crops with a shovel?! (perhaps an organic pest control spray bottle would have sufficed?) The faster you are, the more experienced you become, and you'll earn more money because you'll earn more flowers to sell at the end of each day. As you gain experience, the flowers begin to evolve, the more they evolve, the more exotic the flowers become, the more exotic the flower, the more money you'll earn at days end. Eventually, quests become available that allows you to create items that bring in bigger bucks.
You are constantly being swindled out of your hard-earned cash by the locals who want to get their hands on your little mermaid, crustaceous moola. I found this feature to be maddening because IF you choose to pay up, you're back to square one...broke, and the second you pay up, another's there to take his place with an open palm and empty pockets. You'll get trapped in a never-ending loop and stuck with the same two plants you started with, the same, end-of-the-day tallies forever. You'll have to buy Water before starting the Day's Level, so you're caught in a catch 22, struggling to make enough money to buy or repair more flowers...which will make the game boring pretty quickly. Another Concept ideal flaw. (Does it matter if I DON'T help them financially? Do I miss a leveling-up opportunity or other scenario feature? This would be an important answer not covered in the vague tutorial!)
If you don't pay the Magic Farm Sharks, you'll have enough she-sells, sea-shells to purchase lilypad plant plots to make the game more interesting. You can also purchase water containers and harvesting baskets as well as decorations that help plants evolve faster, require less water, increases flower production or make them more resilient to pests. There aren't enough items offered in the Equipment category, in my opinion, they should have several storage containers that hold an increasing amount of water or flowers (for example: holds 6-10-25 liters of water) As I mentioned earlier if there were more trophies available, items could include an automatic water or harvest feature for each individual flower, or an auto-sell harvest, speed up the day options (night mode too!) Missed concept!
One of the most annoying features (or possibly a glitch?) I came across started with the introduction of the mutant octopi. When the pests attack the crops, it's your solemn duty to grab the nearest inappropriate tool at your disposal, aka a shovel, and bludgeon them to death. (picture yourself repeatedly smacking the water with a shovel as you attempt to hit a moving underwater object, then picture yourself trying to swat a mosquito, midair with a heavy shovel...Nuff said?) Presumably, because the Beluga-octowhale is a mutant, they are stronger than your average squishy, spineless invertebrates composed entirely of soft tissue, and require super-human strength with cat-like reflexes, to squash them like a bug. In other words, you'll have to bonk them on their boneless bald heads at a break-neck pace. IF I chose to stop smacking him for a second to water my plants before they wither to dust, then the mutant octopus uses some kind of a voodoo-magic farm slime defense mechanism to cling to my magic farm cursor because he still thinks its a shovel/weapon. That's all fine and dandy, but now I've just shot him like a torpedo from the embankments to the VERY plant I so vehemently tried to defend, and poof! There goes my plant, there goes my hard-earned pirate-booty, all because the slimy ink-squirter used his spidey-senses to fool me into fast-tracking him to red lobster!

This "Top Reviewer" is one of our most frequent game reviewers. We think you'll trust what they have to say and find their reviews helpful and informative.
I own several Solitaire games by this developer and they are very good Solitaire games, but they all have one common denominator...they have identical board layouts! The only difference is that the title changed as well as the storyline theme and graphics, still has the same features and achievements too! To make matters worse, it still his this intermittent issue where several deck cards flip over at the same time.
With that being said, IF you haven't purchased a game by this developer I totally recommend it because even though it's the same game, it's a really enjoyable game, I just don't need four of the same game!
You can set the resolution so the game fills the whole screen (instead of the black bars on each side) and there are 3 Cursors and 3 Card Fonts to choose from, including a large card font. There are 18 Achievements to earn, most of which are available in 3 different categories.
You can purchase Jokers and Number Specific Wildcards in the shop with the golddollars you earn, and as you progress, helper cards become available that refill as you play a specific suit, such as Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs, and Spades. After completing chapters and collecting the level resources, you'll be awarded artifacts.
One of the biggest reasons I love Solitaire games by this developer is the fact that the piles of deck cards are so numerous, and there are so many cards to remove from the board. Not only is it more challenging this way, but it gives you the opportunity to strategically make long combos, and by long, I mean that if done correctly, you can make combos of 20, 30 even 40 (yes it's possible on some levels, especially as you progress further)
I'm the kind of person who plays a solitaire level over and over until I remove every single card, even if I've earned all 3 Stars, I'll still replay the level until every single card has been removed. Once again, I had issues on some of the levels when I clicked on the deck pile where more than 1 card would flip over. It wasn't even noticeable unless one of the cards was playable, because the playable card on the board would wiggle to indicate I missed a play. Sure enough, I'd click the Undo button and the card below was indeed playable. This wouldn't be a problem if the Undo was free and limitless, but the Undo has to charge by removing cards, and it's not always available when you first start the level.
Here are a few of the features I love about this game: *The piles of cards to remove from the board are numerous. *Those piles sometimes give the appearance of a single card. *There are no "Special" cards to remove. *You can remove all cards because there are no special cards. *You can replay the levels as often as you want. *Clicking anywhere speeds up the process to the next level. *Large Combos are possible if you use strategy and/or Wildcards. *Mini-Games and HO's break up the monotony of Solitaire levels. *The card Fonts are easily identifiable and easy to see. *The graphics are colorful.
It's a relaxing game, it's a fun game to play, but it's not right to pretend to release a brand new game when in reality they didn't bother to change anything...or fix the multi-card flip glitch!

I don't understand why BF keeps offering these incredibly boring TM games. Even though they keep changing the title, they are all the same...boring. Are these guys so out of touch with what players actually like, or do they just not care? This game is so tedious and so boring that I couldn't finish the demo, it felt like a dreadful chore that I just wanted to get done so I could enjoy life again! That's pretty bad, folks :(
There are 60 Main Levels, kudos to anyone able to complete them, and Extra CE levels that can't be accessed until the main game is completed. This feature can be found on the level Map on the top right, as a purple swirl icon. There are 22 Trophy Achievements as well.
You can earn up to 3-Stars per level but I didn't find a Game Difficulty Mode setting (not that you'll need one) The tasks are boring and all involve sending a little robot to do the dirty work...until you build huts for the locals only to enslave them in the crystal mines...REALLY???
This Collector's Edition has a mysterious number of Bonus Levels, 6 Music Soundtracks, 17 Concept Art Pictures and a Built-In Strategy Guide...hardly worthy of the extra price.

The past is in the past...unless it's in the future or the present because dark forces are at play here when Anti-Mystery Tracker Agent Anna Gray arranges a little vacation for her doppelganger opposites. The real Anna Gray from Grim Tales, James Blackthorne from Haunted Hotel, and Agent Dorian Brown from Mystery Trackers, unwittingly board the SS TITAN (IC) destination PAST-PRESENT-FUTURE, they don't even get the pleasure of each other's company!
Unfortunately, the game itself is super easy and everything is predictable, you'll know what object is needed to complete every task, where to look, what to do and when and where to use things. You'll know where the HO scenes will be located the second you walk in a room, you'll know to open up scenes where there are cabinets and drawers and know they will all need emblems. At one point, I thought this developer had abandoned the "million emblems" required to unlock absolutely every door, drawer and cabinet in a 200 room mansion but they just keep slipping back into that dark anti-parallel "been there, done that, scenario?????
Helper/Gadget: There are 4 Gadgets in this game, one of which is dear ole dad, Richard, the other 3 are Connectors from the Mystery Trackers Agency which is basically a giant flip-phone used by all three agents. All of the gadgets were unobtrusive and didn't really require solving a mini-game (with the exception of 1 puzzle that followed its use.
Morphing Objects/Collectibles: (CE version only) There are 14 Morphing Case Cards with descriptions and 30 Non-Linear Morphing Objects. Although the morphs are very easy to spot, I am thrilled that they have included morphs that don't necessarily morph when you first visit the scene. (usually morphs when you switch characters) Most of the Zoom Zones have a Puzzle Fragment that automatically completes 4 Screensavers.
Hidden Object Scenes: There are 15 Hidden Object Scenes +4 in the CE Bonus Chapter and 7 Zoom Zone HOP's where you search for items that match silhouetted shapes, shown one at a time. I rarely impressed with any of the HO Scenes by Elephant because the items practically jump out at you. Do me a favor and try to find the items w/o looking at the list and I'll betcha you can find most objects! There are Interactive List Finds, Multiples of Items Finds, Silhouetted Shape Finds, and Symbol Finds. Some of the location settings were interesting but there were really only 2 that were unique, one that required flipping over stones to create murals of the listed objects, and my personal favorite, finding and placing parts on a totem pole. There are no alternate games available.
Mini-Games: There are 20 Mini-Games +2 in the CE Bonus Chapter. Most of the games are standard Elephant games that you've probably played several times. Here are a few of the ones I enjoyed the most:
1-A three-part Puzzle Variation game the first puzzle requires folding a map horizontally & vertically, the second puzzle requires dragging horizontal & vertical puzzle strips, the third is the famous Elephant torn photo where you have to drag fragments into place...easy but fun. 2-Place all bars on the grid, each bar has filled & empty circles of varying patterns and the goal is to cover the entire grid with circles. 3-Fire a cannonball at four different targets by clicking to stop the red horizontal & vertical lines when they are centered in the target. Each target becomes slightly more challenging because the speed increases each time. 4-Sneak past the guards by choosing paths 1-3 at the correct times per scene. 5-Connect gears to their matching colored mates without intersecting connections.
Bonus Chapter (Collector's Edition version only) Continue your parallel voyage to battle Morpheus before he conquers the universe and enslaves humanity through hypnosis! There are 8 Scene Locations in this average-length chapter which has only 2 Mini-Games and 4 Hidden Object Scenes. You will search for the remaining 4 Morphing Case Cards, 8 Morphing Objects, and 5 Zoom Zone Puzzle Fragments which allows you to complete the fourth and final screensaver.
Collector's Edition Extra's 12 Wallpapers, 10 Concept Art Pictures, 4 Screensavers, 4 Music Soundtracks, 18 Achievements, 13 Replayable Mini-Games, 13 Replayable Hidden Object Scenes 14 Morphing Case Cards, 30 Non-Linear Morphing Objects 20 Zoom Zone Puzzle Fragments, a Secret Room to search for Hidden Objects, 7 Main Chapters +Bonus Chapter (actually 3 chapters to play as Anna Gray-James Blackthorn, and Dorian Brown) and a Built-In Strategy Guide.

Susan has been summoned to the Lost Lands once again, but this voyage stirs emotions of inner turmoil as she struggles to balance life in the Lost Lands as a Warmaiden, and life on Earth as a mother and wife. Neither life will matter, however, if Susan doesn't choose Maaron over Jimmy because Drak UL's heart has been uncovered on Earth and must be returned to the Lost Lands for safe-keeping. If the heart falls into the wrong hands, both worlds could be destroyed if Drak Ul the giants' heart and soul are reunited.
I know most of us don't think about what goes on behind the scenes, and I'm not even sure the developers realize that they are light-years ahead of all others. Pay attention to the details folks, look at the graphics, the characters movement animations (okay, disregard a few creepy eyelid movements or creepy sign-language flitter fingers) Think about the work that went into creating those incredible morphs & interactive collectibles. (and think about the incredible price point for all that work!) Pay attention to the surroundings, the realistic atmosphere, and the realistic interactive tasks. These devs have been to Mars and back folks, they have looped around other galaxies several times, while others can only manage to come up with smoking out hundreds of beehives, placing a gazillion emblems, spirals & symbols, sticky note hints plastered everywhere/no grey matter required, and allowing players to click on a few neon-green lamps! (think about it) THIS is why this developer is my Number One all-time favorite developer, they know how to put the HOPE into HOPA games! However, did you have to make Jimmy's character so winey & annoying? He isn't a very likable person, just saying)
Morphing Objects/Collectibles (CE version only) Whoa, hold on folks! Just when I thought these guys couldn't possibly make their collectibles any better, they made me start digging for gold by placing hidden Coins under rocks and other various nooks and crannies! There are 53 Collectibles total, 8 Coins-7 Giant's Mark-7 Susan's Photo Memories-8 Maps-11 Lost Lands Manuscripts and 12 Figurines (in the BC) Each scene also has a Morphing Object, 30 total. You can enable/disable the curser-hand change option when you encounter morphs & collectibles as well as show the scenes with missed collectibles & morphs on the map.
Hidden Object Scenes: There are only 12 Hidden Object Scenes +3 in the CE Bonus Chapter, but don't let that deter you because these are some of the most interactive and lengthy, whole-room scene HO's you'll ever see, unless of course, you play other games by this developer. There are only 4 different variations, Interactive List, Interactive Silhouetted Shapes, Interactive Multiples, and Finding & Replacing. The interactions are multi-layered and do require a lot of thought processes because the interactions are not your typical cookie-cutter interactions. Did I mention how talented this team is? My only suggestion to them would be to offer an alternative game for players who may find these too frustrating, or perhaps a skip button feature?
Mini-Games: Put on your thinking caps to solve 37 Mini-Games +16 in the CE Bonus Chapter. These aren't impossible puzzles, but they will require a little bit of thought and a little bit of patience. These aren't the kind of games that can be solved in one or two moves, and certainly not by luck of the draw. Did I mention how incredibly talented this team is? Even the Hidden Object Scenes are more like puzzles AND they have mini-games within them!
Bonus Chapter: (CE version only) The journey continues right where you left off as Susan, Jimmy and Maaron retrace there steps to search for Maaron's Impaler that was dropped during the main game. There are 3 incredible Hidden Object Scenes and 16 Mini-Games across 12 familiar scenes. There are no Morphs in this chapter but you will search for the final 12 Collectible Figurines (of the last new character in the 3rd chapter!)

Man, I wish they would change things up a bit in these games for those of us who own or have played more than one game by this developer because they are really good Match 3 games...IF you haven't played games 1-8! These Match 3 games may have an interesting story, amazing graphics, challenging obstacles, smooth Match 3 mechanics, interesting bonus power-up tools, clever builder aspects required to progress, and obtainable goals.
This is a swap type, Match 3 game that requires you swap two adjacent elements to create a group of at least three tiles. You can opt to play in a Relaxed, untimed mode and there is a High Scores Leaderboard. The goal of each level is to make matches over all of the Gold filled-in Cells as well as matching a specified number of specified Tiles that are shown at the top of the screen. Some levels also require you to collect Holy Spirit icons by dropping them to the bottom of the board. Some tiles Morph inside of a Bubble which allows you to pop the bubble when the jewel inside morphs to the desired jewel. I'm not sure why the morphing bubble tiles appear but I would suspect it's a reward for making a large match?
You don't earn Power-ups for making Large Matches, however, every match you make fills the Mana Meter, the larger the matches are, the faster it will charge. The good thing about this feature is that any of the power-ups can be used and refilled on any level, unlike some games where you have to wait until a level comes along that has a particular bonus tile to refill that power-up. The Hammer removes a single tile or chain, the Egyptian Bracelet will absorb a 4 tile radius of tiles or chains, the Crucible collects all tiles of the same kind, the Moses' Staff & Shepherd's Staff clears an entire Horizontal or Vertical Line including chained tiles, and the Stone Tablets clear a large group of tiles and any chains on them.
There are the normal obstructions as found in most Match 3 games of Chained tiles, Double Chained tiles, Spiders that spin webs to lock tiles if you don't make matches under them quickly enough, but nothing unusual or different than most Match 3 games, and certainly nothing different than other Match 3 games by this developer. You can purchase Videos of Moses' plight after gathering enough resources and you must purchase all videos to complete the chapter and open up the next Chapter's levels.

In all fairness, I'm a puzzle geek and my opinion will be far more critical because puzzles are my jam. This game is perfectly fine for those who like to play an occasional puzzle game for relaxation. When I saw that TGT was a Jigsaw Puzzle game that wasn't by the usual developer of mass cookie-cutter games, I thought my prayers had been answered, but I was really disappointed when I realized that I had to follow the puzzle chapters one by one, at least until I won the specified number of coins to unlock more. To make matters worse, the options were basically the same as that "other" developer's puzzles AND the puzzles were only available in 30, 48. and 99 pieces, at least in the demo portion of chapters 1-2. There's a jigsaw meme that says "I don't like to brag, but I just solved a puzzle in a week and the box said 3-5 years" Nuff said?
Let's start with the puzzles. There are 8 Chapters with varying levels. The pictures are decent, will save your progress and finished puzzles are downloadable, but you can only play selected puzzles until you earn enough coins to open up new chapters and even puzzles within the chapters themselves. As I stated earlier, it appears that you can only choose sizes of 30, 48 or 99 pieces, basically a child's size puzzle.
-There's Gold on the Ground 42 puzzles -Together Across the World 48 puzzles -Every Moment Matters 51 puzzles -Believe in Yourself 54 puzzles -It's A Beautiful World 57 puzzles -The Warmest Place 60 puzzles -Ah, Mother Nature 63 puzzles -Good Ole Times 69 puzzles
There is a Daily Coin Reward that increases in increments for consecutively logging on. There is a Random Puzzle Tab and a Daily Puzzle Tab and 42 Achievements to earn. You can enable a custom cursor, choose from 9 backgrounds, enable piece rotation, enable a timer, a preview picture or ghosted image. The ghosted image isn't a ghosted image at all, it's just a background of the puzzle image, not opaque as it should be!
The puzzles allow you to Auto-solve (why? what's the point of watching the computer solve puzzles???) you can select the Border pieces, shuffle and sort, and there's a Hint button as well as a Zoom in or out feature. You can drag the screen around, but it doesn't allow you to select and drag multiple puzzle pieces to sort them manually, but then again, 99 pieces max doesn't require a lot of sorting lol.
Now for the options this game doesn't have and should! A feature that allows me to download my own images...a MUST HAVE feature! (most people like specific genres) A puzzle shape option including my personal favorite, ¼ square tiles to make the puzzle wicked challenging (no tabs or indents) because there are hundreds of puzzle shapes available! A size option that matters, I guarantee you, real puzzle geeks don't solve 30 piece puzzles, my custom puzzles start at 5000 pieces for computer versions and I won't bother with a real jigsaw under 2000 pieces. And it would be nice, but not a deal-breaker if the above options were available...A better sort option that allows you to fetch, label, and store, specific colors/shapes/borders, etc.
