Seen one Mahjong game seen em all, this game has nothing new to offer, but it is a pretty game. There are 6 Levels available and each level offers 20 different patterns, and you can choose from 3 different tiles. The objective is different for each game, every game requires you to remove all gold tiles and some require you to earn a specific amount of points, some require you to remove the gold tiles within a specific amount of moves, others have a specific time limit. The goal is to earn 3 keys for each level. Matching tiles quickly will cause the point index to go higher which gives you more coins. Collecting silver tiles will refill the shuffle feature and there is an icon that will shade the unavailable tiles to make it easier to spot matches. That's it in a nutshell, nothing new here, try the recent Lost Amulets if you want a mahjong game that's fun.

I love a good Tower Defense game, and this is a fun game, but the devs may have gone too far trying to make this game just a bit different than the normal TD games. I do however appreciate it when devs "think outside the box" but I still have no clue what I'm supposed to be doing when it comes to improving my weapons. (I'll explain this to the best of my knowledge)
Instead of having platforms that you build upon, there are just heaps of material that you click upon and then choose which weapon to build. There are Ballista which can help in any situation and is the only one that can destroy air attacks. Mortar shoot's cannonballs and is good against large infantry, and there's even a machine that freezes the enemy and slows them down. All of the weapons can be upgraded to shoot with more force in a wider range once you earn enough money to do so.
You receive quests from different people and they also tried to add a Time Management feature where you can click to cut down trees which earns you silver coins. Once the enemy attack begins (you get more money if you start the battle early by clicking on the battle icon) and the icon is located where the assault will take place. There are several bonuses you can use when the enemy slips past your defenses suches as Lightning, and fireballs, located on the left of the screen.
The most confusing feature was using the gems you earned to improve the mechanics of the weapons, which in my opinion was poorly explained. You choose which weapon you want to improve and then you click and drag the mechanic piece to the bottom matching slot, at that point I'm not really sure what this does for your weapon, because nothing seems to change. Perhaps I needed to play longer until all the shapes were filled with the mechanics. Apparently you can change the mechanics at any time as well. For this confusing reason alone, I deducted a star, other than that, it's a decent TD game, enjoy!

I have never played a griddler game that was so uninteresting ever! Who wants to spend a fair amount of time solving a puzzle that just makes random shapes? If they are supposed to be an image of something, label it so I can take another look at it and say, oh yeah, now I get it! To make matters worse, the puzzles are very tiny, not the grid size itself, but the entire puzzle can fit inside the palm of your hand. There aren't even interesting colors, just a flat green ugly shade. I guess I just got spoiled by my favorite griddlers, Fantasy Mosaics, so if this is the first griddler game you've played, don't let this game spoil it for you, play Fantasy Mosaics (currently 9 available and a variation of several colors are introduced from 4-9) Even World Mosaics are great griddler games. No way can I recommend this game.
I don't recommend this game.

You've been called to investigate the ghostly haunting activities at the Spears Renaissance Faire. I liked the unique features this game has to offer, but there are only two modes of difficulty, one which leaves you to figure out the game entirely on your own with no hints available, the other gives you hints but they are horrible hints simply telling you to use an inventory item, but not where to find the inventory items needed. For that reason alone I knocked off a star from my ratings. I knocked off another star because there are collectible fairies in each scene, but no way of knowing how many are available in each scene. I didn't even know to look for them until after I completed the level and it said I found 0 of 2 fairies. At least the game allows you to return to the scene to locate the fairies, especially when you didn't find the correct amount of fairies. (68 in total)
Each location allows you to pan left and right to look for sparkly areas of interest, and then you enter that location to either play some form of a Hidden Object Scene or complete a task using an inventory item. Some of the tasks cannot be done immediately because you haven't found the necessary items yet so you have to complete other tasks and return when you do. The Hidden Object Puzzles are mostly list finds but there are also Fragment finds, and usually once all items have been found you expose an item that is used in that scene to complete a task, and sometimes you receive an item that is used in another location. I did enjoy the variety of scenes, some take place within several tapestries, some inside jewelry boxes and some inside the quaint renaissance shoppes. This is a decent game, but there's not a whole lot of story to go along with it and it is a difficult game to figure out at times.

If you like games such as Relic Rescue where you drop tiles from the top of the screen onto tiles on the board to make matches of at least 3 to destroy the tiles, you're going to love this safari themed game. Before the start of every level you are given an option of Fast, Normal, Slow or No Timer difficulty modes, however, each mode has a specific number of gold stars given, more for Fast Timed modes and less for each mode that is easier, so you may not be able to earn all 5 stars with the easier modes.
There are several types of gameplay available, matches of 5 or more will change a tile to an exploding tile which takes out a group of tiles. As you progress, you receive fewer tiles that can be readily matched, and if the tiles begin to stack up on top, the less you will be able to see of the bottom tiles as the heavy load bears down on the board. Some tiles are made out of stone that require several tiles dropped on them to crumble them, some tiles are wrapped in vines which also require several matches. You start out as a Spectator and rank up as you progress. Listed below are the types of games you can expect. 1) Timed mode where all tiles have to be removed within a specific amount of time. 2) Saving the animals from poachers, you are still in timed mode, and you still need to remove all tiles, but you must also make matches under the animal cages to release them. 3) Limited Moves, you can take your time with this game because there's no timer but you have to match all tiles within a specific amount of moves. 4) Match 3 is a normal Match 3 game where you swap tiles to match at least 3 identical tiles and the goal is to make several matches over the Granite tile which turns it to an Earth tile and then a Sand tile and one last match destroys the tile completely. I didn't notice any new features between this game and Relic Rescue other than the addition of the regular type Match 3 game, but I love this type of game and I love the sounds of the Serengeti and safari themed animals, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I've never been a fan of HdO click and drag games, they are all the same, with a slightly different storyline. Brad Lupin has been looking for his wife Janet, who disappeared several months ago when he was in Europe on a reporting assignment. After a lengthy search, his investigation leads him to Bavaria, and his car breaks down in front of a mysterious castle. Before Brad can knock on the front door, he hears chilling screams coming from inside by a damsel clearly in distress....
The graphics are actually fairly decent considering how old and low budget this game is. As with all HdO games, every scene has a Hidden Object Scene which allows you to zoom into any area of the scene as well as being able to click and drag the scene about as you struggle to find some items that are unrecognizable. There is a penalty for random clicking, and there are two modes of difficulty, one that is a Normal Timed mode, the other gives you more time and extra hints, but is still against the clock. Each scene has hidden stars that can be collected for extra hints or extra time depending on the mode of difficulty you chose.
Between chapters, you get to play a jigsaw type mini game where you click icons to move square tiles horizontally, one that allows you to swap puzzle pieces and another to rotate the pieces. These puzzles are surprisingly entertaining and not as simple to solve as you would think. I couldn't help but think of the Rocky Horror PS every time I heard the names Brad & Janet.

Zeus has called upon the gods to deal with Hercules once and for all. Their jealousy has gotten the best of 'em, he's strong, he's handsome, and he's adored and admired by his people, but he's only a demigod! During a celebration to acknowledge their appreciation for his hard work and loyalty to the people, someone poisoned Hercules! There's nothing that can stop this mighty man, and Hercules is back on track and ready to roll up his sleeves. The once fertile lands have withered and turned into a desert wasteland, with the absence of Hercules . Together with the help of his wife Megara, they must restore withered trees, and turn this wasteland into a lush garden of Eden once more.
There are three different modes of difficulty, Relaxed, Casual and expert, and every level that is completed within Gold Time (3 stars) will reveal a part of the ancient castle which I believe is supposed to be Mt. Olympus, but I could be wrong on that one. Each level has a puzzle piece to find which looks like an ancient rune tile, I look for the puzzle piece before clicking on anything which starts the game, that way I don't forget about the puzzle piece or waste time searching for it once the clock starts ticking. You can replay any of the levels to try to get a better score, or if you forgot the puzzle piece. The Collector's Edition has the addition of several Achievements to earn for tasks such as collecting a resource after completing the level tasks, completing the level without using bonuses or finding 5 and 10 puzzle pieces.
There are the usual tasks of building and upgrading farms, sawmills, goldmines and even storage facilities, clearing and repairing paths, and collecting food. Each task requires a certain amount of resources to complete and when you scan over a task, the requirements needed are shown as well as the resources you are lacking to complete. You can click on several tasks to have the workers complete, a checkmark will appear on the item for every available worker, and flags will queue the rest in numerical order until a worker is free. In Relaxed and Casual modes, the tasks available are circled in green, yellow indicates you will be able to complete the task once the resources collected are delivered to the base camp, red indicates the item is either blocked or you don't have enough available resources. Megara is summoned to grow fruit trees and heal trees which transforms a section to a lush oasis. Then of course there's Hercules with all his strength, who is tasked with only one job, clear paths of boulders no mere man is capable of lifting!
As you progress, you will receive bonuses that can be used each time the meter fills to make the workers Faster and even collect more resources. Generally, you want to use these bonuses often in order to complete the tasks within Gold Time, especially as you progress and the levels become more complicated. Occasionally you will get a chance to earn bonus points by reading plaques that give you optional tasks such as finding two Ancient Vases.
The Collector's Edition has 9 Wallpapers, Achievements to earn, Collectible Puzzle Pieces, Puzzles to complete once all the pieces have been collected, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus story and Bonus level, However in my opinion, the Standard Edition is the better buy. You don't need a strategy guide when you can replay the levels as often as necessary, and wallpapers and achievements aren't enough to constitute such a price difference. You still get to collect the puzzle pieces and build the ancient temple with this edition, so get your TM game on Hercules style, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

This unusual game is just like Forgotten Riddle: Mayan Princess, but for me, the storyline isn't as interesting. The town of Godesberg is where the famous Moonlight Opera House and home to composer Francis von Amadeus, is located. Neighbors can still hear beautiful music coming from the decaying walls of the Opera House which has been abandoned for many decades. When there is a full moon, a ghostly figure can be seen on the second story balcony, so the city has given you access to the late composer's documents including a journal filled with riddles that correspond to the buildings many chambers to unlock the mysteries of the Opera House.
You must choose a location within the building to explore, and click on the treble clef tiles for riddles. Each riddle corresponds to an object within the scene to locate. If you chose the Archaeologist mode of difficulty, you have a limited number of hints and 45 minutes on the timer to solve all riddles within each room for each level. In Apprentice mode, you receive more time, more hints and there is an alternate ending.
Some of the rooms have puzzle type scenes where you have to take items shown on the inventory bar, and place them correctly into the scene. There are also scenes where you solve the riddles by choosing the correct scene either past or present by using a toggling switch. This isn't a typical Hidden Object Game, but it's a nice change of pace to have to think about the item you are looking for, enjoy!

Whenever evil awakens, rare objects challenge the great tide of darkness. If an artifact ends up in the wrong hands, who knows what could happen. An omen has appeared to you in what you thought was a dream, but this wise and magnificent beast was no dream, he's as real as the message he brings! You must restore the balance that has been disturbed, you must save the Princess of the neighboring kingdom of Nypha who has been imprisoned in an icy tower, her fate is connected to the fate of your kingdom as well!
Your Fire-Wielding powers have given you and the bear bearing bad news a unique connection, with a powerful armored claw that gives you the power to recognize magical arcane items and interact with them. The protection bracelet creates a magical barrier around you, and each time you find an arcane item such as the Iron Axe capable of stopping anything, you can activate the item with the bear claw in the form of a Match 3 type game. This game requires you to select and connect at least three gems of the same color, using a continuous line vertically, horizontally and diagonally until you have collected a specific number of each colored gem. The Collector's Edition has the addition of 44 Collectible Hidden Crowns, 15 Achievements to earn and Morphing Objects available within the Hidden Object Scenes.
The Hidden Object Puzzles vary, some require you to find coins which will uncover the interactive list finds, some require key words to be matched in a scene that are given one sentence at a time as a story about the early years in the kingdom of Nypha, and some require finding misplaced items and returning them to the correct place in the scene. There are also small HOS within zoomed in zones where you are tasked with finding 5 keys by opening up cabinets and drawers, and then you match the identical keys which leaves you with the oddball winning key. The Collector's Edition has the addition of a Morphing Object in each HOP.
The Mini Games aren't bad, but nothing new really. Some of the games within the demo are: 1) Opening a drawer by clicking until the correct symbols are displayed. 2) Choosing the correct identical item out of 4 slightly different choices to match the original as shown in the occularium. 3) Building a sled out of a shield, blanket and ropes and guiding the sled down a snow filled embankment by using right and left directional arrows to avoid obstacles. (note: if you crash, you start all over from the beginning) 4) Choosing the correct icon above each of four men that relate to the item they have already told you they love in a roundabout way. 5) Matching symbols on a group of bandits to those found on your Shield and Axe as each man advances towards you. 6) Selecting circles to rotate and align them so that the slots in all circles are vertical. 7) Clicking on a ball to throw a grappling hook when the ball is in the green zone that narrows with each throw, an choosing the correct step to take on a crumbling ledge.
The Collector's Edition has 44 Collectible Crowns, 19 Morphing Items (within the HOP's) 15 Achievements, 19 replayable HOP's, 9 Music Soundtracks, 27 Characters, the Making Of, 16 Wallpapers, a Jigsaw Puzzle, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter. Although I liked the abundance of the CE better, the graphics and cinematics of this game are stunning with High Definition quality, apparent from the get go which really sets this game apart from others, enjoy!

I beta tested this game several months back, I love the storyline but something about the gameplay itself falls flat. The best way I can describe it, is that it's kind of like a B rated movie with those typical awkward camera angles, like it was filmed with a camcorder. The characters are almost lifelike, but cartoonish at the same time, with not so great lip syncing. I can overlook all of this because I appreciate it when devs think outside the box and try different styles, you make no progress when you don't try. In my opinion, there are too many HOP's and not enough bling to qualify for a decent Collector's Edition.
This is a Detective game that delves deep into secret societies, the Knight's Templar want's to protect the legendary Blue Veil chest, which supposedly contains a map of great importance, and the elusive Shadows want to possess the Blue Veil for it's wealth. When your partner Jason Palmer becomes "unavailable" you are thrust into this investigation not knowing who to trust.....with good reason!
The Hidden Object Puzzles are all the same, and just about every scene has one. They are listed item finds with several of the items requiring an interaction that progresses. For example, you pick up a knife and zoom into a teddy bear that has something sewn inside, you use the knife to open up the threads and expose an item that is used on another item which exposes another item and so forth. They are entertaining but not very challenging. You can opt for a game of Mahjong instead, but Mahjong is too boring.
The Mini Games are not bad, some are old standards, others are either newer or have a new take on an old standard. 1) Swapping square sections of a circuit board so that all the color coded current lines match up. 2) Using arrows to rotate tumblers to find the correct combination of images that has been written in your journal. 3) Turning on a series of lights in order from top to bottom by following the wires from the light to the correct switch. 4) Locating 5 Diamonds, 5 Fleur-de-lis, 5 Spears, 5 Stars, 5 Flowers and 5 Crescent Moons hidden within several sketched drawings. (one of my favorites) 5) Following steps to create a library card, such as taking a photo with a camera, cropping the picture and using items in a specific order. 6) Connecting each Node to as many nodes as indicated on the individual nodes themselves. 7) Swapping Gems into the correct order so that they reach their matching slots when you click to activate the machine.
This Collector's Edition has Concept Art, Wallpapers, Original Score, Bonus Movies, a built in Strategy Guide, and a Bonus Adventure, enjoy!
