Miss Dip has just been released from the hospital after a successful cornea transplant. She doesn't dare tell the surgeon that every time she closes her eyes or falls asleep, she has unexplained visions of places she's never been before. She decides to visit the places from her visions to try and put the pieces of the puzzle together or at least learn more about the donor who died in a car accident.
This is a seek and find game with a lot of puzzles and mini games to solve. I'm not a big fan of HO's that require you to search for items that are so small you cannot recognize most of the items, therefore I wasn't a fan of this game. Each scene has several items that are missing letters. Once you find the missing alphabet letter you place the missing letter onto the items label to collect that item. The Mini games are extremely easy such as placing several shapes together from large to small, of the same color, or a game of solitaire where you remove cards on the board that match cards on the deck.
I don't recommend this game.

It's the morning of Carol Evan's sweet 16th birthday, and she's glad to see daylight, that was a horrible nightmare she had last night! But daylight isn't turning out any better that the night, everyone, her parents included, has disappeared without a trace! The town of Rocksberg is in a state of disarray, broken dishes, cars abandoned in the middle of the street, even the electrical wires are down. What happened? Where have all the adults disappeared to? Aren't you glad it isn't your 18th birthday?!
Surface has done it again folks, and something tells me that Alone in the Mist has just scratched the surface of what's to come! Don't forget to collect those Red and White Flowers in each scene. Each flower you collect helps to unlock Characters in the Secret Room, and each Character will have a special favor to ask of you which sounds kinda creepy yet intriguing. There are Achievements to earn and Plus Signs on some of the inventory items indicating the need for further interaction before the item can be used such as combining that item with another inventory item.
The Hidden Object Scenes are a mixture of Listed items, Silhouetted Shape finds, and even finding items that match the sentence being spoken on a tape recorder. The Mini Games range from simple puzzles where you click on icons until twin pictures are identical, to more complicated puzzles such as swapping key icons within a group of pictures until all picture images make sense. I really enjoyed the game requiring you to spell out the word POLICE, but you have to figure out the correct order to key in the numbers as they scramble to different locations with each letter entered.
This Collector's Edition has Achievements, a Secret Room, Wallpapers, Concept Art, Music, Screensavers, Collectible Red and White Flowers, Unlockable Characters, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Not bad, if you like seek and find games, and this one has some unusual features. Your Aunt Bea, has passed away and left you her house. She isn't really family, but the two of you became close when your family spent each summer right next door. The problem is, Aunt Bea owes some property taxes to the tune of $7,243.19 so you will have to search each room of the house to find garage sale items. First, you must read the local paper, the Carmel Nutshell and get information of the type of items you will sell to match their interests. Then you visit an unlocked room and search for several items that are related to that theme, so you will have to figure out what those items are. If you hover your mouse over the items, a description will pop up (some items are partially hidden, others are small) Some items are in need of repair and a listed item will be shown such as glue, for you to find to fix the item. When all those items have been found, you will have a yard sale. There are several characters who show up and the items they are looking for will be listed as a vague description requiring you to find the matching character and drag them to the correct item. For example, a Chef has hungry hummingbirds, so you find the character that is wearing a chef's uniform and drag him to the hummingbird feeder. After you complete this task, you can visit any unlocked location to decorate the room. A brief description will be given as to what the room should look like such as a bed with a touch of red, matching curtains, subtle stripes, an expensive floor, a matching table, artwork and a wall light. You choose the correct items from a collection and if you get all items correct you will receive an extra hint on the next level (you get 5 per level including yard sale) Lot's of entertainment value in this game, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

The annual Pied Piper Festival is celebrated to honor the hero who played his pipe so beautifully that all the infested rats in the town of Hamelin followed him to the river to meet their demise. Something has gone terribly wrong this year however, for whatever reason, the pied piper has returned with a vengeance, as well as millions of plague infested rats! The Pied Piper hero has become the Dark Piper, who spreads fear and the threat of plague, throughout this small town. It's up to you inspector, to figure out how to stop this madman and rid the town of rats, once again!
This is an awesome game, however, I prefer the Collector's Edition over this Standard Edition because of the Morphing Objects, a feature I genuinely love. This games mechanics are very similar to the Dark Parables series, same design, same music and most of all the same unique nonlinear Morphs that I adore. (again, only in the CE) Morphing Fable Objects may not morph the first time you see them, it usually requires an action within another scene to trigger the morph, so you will have to revisit areas several time in search of the morph, which makes it so much more challenging!
Unlike DP games, the Hidden Object Scenes are interactive list finds, with just the right amount of difficulty. SPOILER ALERT: there are several interactive items in each scene, but not all of them are used, just to throw you off track. The Mini Games vary in difficulty from easy puzzles such as selecting specific objects in a stage play to allow the wooden horse to return to the stable. The hardest game in my opinion was selecting flower bulbs correctly so that all connected paths would light up.
The Collector's Edition has 20 Morphing Fable Objects, 8 replayable Puzzles, 20 Movie Videos, 6 Wallpapers, 6 Music Soundtracks, 18 Concept Art Pictures, a built in Strategy Guide, and a Bonus Chapter The Midas Lair. This is a fantastic game and it is surprising to me that more games haven't been produced in this series, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

You'll never forget that stormy night, aboard the Everlast Timeless Cruise, when you and your brother escaped the sinking ship on a lifeboat! The two of you watched helplessly as the ship vanished into thin air, with your parents still onboard, the storm clouds seemingly swallowing up the entire cruiseliner. That was 20 years ago, and that strange storm has returned, along with it the Everlast Cruise Ship! Have your parents returned as well? One thing's for sure, someone, or something, doesn't want you to find out!
The only feature I didn't like in this fourth installment of Rite of Passage was with the Compass that dad gave you to guide you toward the shore. It is used to dispel energy that surrounds random objects whenever the compass begins to shake wildly. I thought it was unnecessary with no entertainment value, if it doesn't add value to the game, why have it? Some of the inventory items have plus signs which indicate that some type of interaction is required before you can use the item, usually combining that item with another inventory item.
The first Hidden Object Scene was unique, you had to find matching cards and then place those cards correctly with the cards a statue was holding in her hands. There are also interactive list finds where the items from the list move aside to expose a fragment that will eventually complete a mosaic fish picture. The Collector's Edition has a Morphing Objects within the HOP and an icon to show if the Morph has been found. There are actually a lot of Mini Games, swapping and rotating puzzle pieces, matching two exact symbols or placing wooden animals in their respective habitats. My favorite however, was a variation of "Blocks" where you had to rotate mirrors to capture a beam of light and direct it through the house until it reached a character sleeping to wake him up, BUT you also had to move furniture that blocked the light beam in a blocks type scenario.
The Collector's Edition has Achievements, Morphing Objects, 37 Collectible Seashells, Wallpapers, Soundtracks, a Gallery, Collectible Hunt, Everlasting Voyage Bonus Game, replayable HO's (with trophies to earn when you beat a specific time) and a built in Strategy Guide, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Sonya received an urgent letter from John McGraw urging her to come to his estate and to bring her daughter Lisa. Once there, John asks Sonya a simple favor, look into the mirror and all will be revealed. Curiosity got the best of her, after all it's just a reflection, and the adventure begins!
The weirdest part was when a leprechaun named Boggart Browne(?) who spoke in a language that sounded like pig latin mixed with a synthesizer, yet somehow, Sonya knew what he was saying. There are only two modes of difficulty, either everything or nothing at all, and you have a journal which jots down everything that happens (with several typos including referring to John McGraw as Earl) There aren't any bells or whistles, but I'm okay with that, because there are plenty of active areas to keep you busy in each scene.
The Hidden Object Scenes are fantastic! They aren't easy, not impossible, but challenging, the HOP's of late seem so easy that they seem to be worthless wastes of time. The first HOP requires you to find 12 related items such as a horse and a horseshoe, but there are also interactive list finds.
There are a lot of Mini Games, most are puzzles that you turn rings to complete an image, or rotate three discs as you exchange sections of different colors between them. There are recipes to mix up as well by following the diagrams step by step, or clicking on several levers in the correct order to open up a grate. None of the puzzles are difficult, although none are new puzzles, they are entertaining, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Looking for a H.I.D.D.E.N O.B.J.E.C.T. game that gives you the C.R.E.E.P.S? Look no further because this game has mastered the heart pounding, unnerving gotta escape the asylum before it's too late genre. When you have an extraordinary paranormal gift, it may very well be just that, a gift, B.U.T. it could just as easily be a curse! Because of your "gift" you have been experimented on, tortured, even used for criminal purposes, and now, you have been marked for extermination! If you're going to escape this filthy prison, you'll have to use your "gift" to escape the condemned asylum. Problem is, your conscience won't allow you to leave knowing there are other tortured patients who are scheduled for extermination, behind, hopefully it's not too late for them!
This may be an older game, but it doesn't matter, because the graphics are meant to be grainy, gritty, and plain old creepy, and I liked it! The Hidden Object Scenes are simple list items with no interactions, but all of the HOP's have items you would expect to see in an abandoned hospital, old, dirty and unkempt. The Mini Games are also in tune with the game, my favorite game was quite challenging, having to find the one x-ray that was different from the others. At first the x-rays are obvious, by the third set it isn't so obvious.
The Collector's Edition of this game, is the only one I know of that let's you play a "slice" of the Bonus Chapter, which is really cool in my opinion. The Collector's Edition also has Wallpapers, Concept Art, Music, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, either version is a must have game for fans of this genre, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

This is one of the funnest Match 3 games I have ever played! Gummies are replacing famous Australian sites, they must be gathered or the world will never stop bouncing! This is a Free To Play Match 3 game, but when you run out of lives or resources, you will either have to be patient and wait for new lives or purchase the needed lives or resources in the Shop. If you do run out of lives, you will be given the option to pay for more lives, or test your luck with the Spinner for a chance to earn 5 extra spins, or lose a life.
Before the start of each level you will be given the goals such as scoring a specific amount of points, clearing all white cells or collect a specific number of building materials (bricks) Each level has three difficulty modes, and you can replay previous levels if you need more resources. As you progress, you will unlock other sites and even other countries, and side goals will be given as well such as collecting 10 workers which will reward you with free resources every hour. After completing a level, you simply claim your reward, and when you have enough money and enough building materials, you can construct Ports and even museums, each construction has a purpose, usually it allows you to travel to other countries.
Matches of 4 gummies will earn a Line Boost, Match 5 creates and sets off a Bomb, and if you Match 5 gummies in a line either horizontally or vertically, you will receive a Lightning Boost that will destroy all gummies of the same kind that you choose. Occasionally, an airplane will drop off a box with a Boost, you must however choose which Boost you want to use before starting the level, but there are also tools to earn that can be used anytime and are available within the level such as a Shovel to clear a single cell.
This is a very exciting and addicting Match 3 game that keeps surprising you with creative power ups, and clever rewards. If you play this game conservatively, it's worth hours of fun for free, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I love games that make me think about my every move strategically. This is a very simple game, but not an easy game, requiring you to place the "drops" into the same colored jar. When you move one drop, all other drops move in the same direction, therefore, you have to take advantage of blocked cells or cells that are crossed off, when moving the drops. There are cells that have "blobs" that will eat the drops, if a blob lands on a cell that contains a blob, you will lose automatically and have to start over. You must get the drops to the correct jars in the fewest moves possible to earn three stars, and you can replay the level as often as you want to try for a better score. Drop Hunt is definitely a brain teaser, enjoy!
