A strange man is going around town stealing jewelry from the rich but certainly not giving it to the poor! No, he's using the jewelry to steal body parts, eyes, hair and who knows what other plans he has. The town jeweler has invented a box that turns crystals into other useful items, with any light source, since he's now a victim it's all your's to to make much needed trinkets and gate keys. You will find different blueprints that allow you to make copies of different inventory items needed along the way. There are 25 hidden mask collectibles and a cute ermine that you name and he helps you out with those out of reach areas as well. There are lot's of achievements to earn, I earned 3 achievements on the very first HOS I came across! This game has 3 modes of difficulty and one that allows you to customize everything from objectives to sparkles. I really liked the hidden object scenes, which were mostly list finds, some were even completely interactive where all items require an interaction such as finding a walnut and placing the nut into the nutcrackers mouth to crack open the nut and reveal a ring. There are also "find 15 letters" type HOS as well. The mini game I enjoyed the most was a sketch book that you had to build faces to look like the picture of the victims and the suspect. You can choose the hairstyle, the facial shape, the nose, the shape of the lips and even facial hair. This game has a very interesting story, I don't recall any other game with this type of suspenseful story. I enjoyed playing this game and I recommend that you give it a try, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I know some critics of this game complained of it being boring, and I agree, BUT, it certainly doesn't stay boring! The beginning of the game starts out by searching Professor Sylvia Burns' house and it is a bit ho hum, been there done that, but as soon as you drive to the village of Three Stones to investigate the disappearance of Jonathan Ferguson, one of your former students, things escalate quickly. You figure out how Jonathan entered the Three Stones portal and you are once again on an Amarathine Voyage! Once you arrive you find one of the villagers lost beagle, Bonnie, so she's along for the voyage as well helping you out in places you simply won't fit. You find a bow and arrow in the guards room and can use this item for things in a distance. Once the King hears of your arrival he mistakes you for a gift from the Gods, and intends to make you his Queen the very next day! You do some snooping of course and learn that long ago a star fell to the ground and was used to make a Sun diamond and a Moon diamond. The Guardians took the Moon diamond to keep balance of the powers it possessed and the King took the Sun diamond with intentions of ultimate power. Now the Guardians are on your side but want you to go ahead with the wedding so they can trick the King and take away his powers. The scenery in this mysterious mountain is stunningly beautiful and the cinematic's are movie quality. The hidden object scenes have interactive list finds as well as finding the items that match the silhouetted shapes. Each HOS will scan over 3 different areas, so when all the items are found in the first scene, the camera scans a little further to another scene and after those items are found the camera scans to a third and final location. When all three areas are finished, a riddle is presented and you need to find that final item that matches that description. You can opt for a marble popping game instead of a HOS, it is just like Tumblebugs or Zuma and it is actually quite fun. The mini games are good, some difficult some easy such as matching symbols from left to right on 2 cylinder's, the exact shape doesn't matter but the lines from the symbol on the left have to line up with the next symbol and so forth until the final symbol on the right side. Be patient with the first few minutes of this game and I'm sure you will enjoy playing this adventure as much as I did, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I have never played any of the Agatha Christie Games, I loved this game and I'm downloading the other available Agatha Christie Games as I write this review! There are the usual hidden objects to find in several rooms, some of the items are a bit small, but that's okay, you get 5 hints on each level which was more than enough. There are pieces of letters and maps scattered throughout some of the rooms that you get to piece back together in a puzzle form. You can visit the Clue room and click on the different characters or suspects to go over the individual clues for that person. I thought it was really unique that you got to click on each suspect and ask that person several questions about his or her whereabouts or how he/she was related to the victim etc. There are mini games where you can match items such as who was asleep at the time of the murder or the other half of this item is missing that matches up to a half of a locket. I was so into this game that I was totally surprised when the demo ended. Give this one a try, it's fun and unique, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

This is a really cool shooting game BUT apparently I have no skills because I never made it past round 6! Not only did I not beat level 6, I replayed the level over and over and will probably have to buy the game so I'll have enough time to sharpen my weak skills! The object of the game is to shoot various sized balls into small holes, by shooting at an opposite wall so that the ball ricochets off one wall and hopefully into the holes on the other wall. You get more points the faster you complete the level, and more points for shooting bigger balls into smaller holes. The first few levels show you exactly where you need to shoot the laser beam in order for the ball to go through the hole, after that you need to figure out by trial and error. Roboto the evil carnival owner will pop his head out of various holes which will block your shot so you need to time the shot just right. The goal is to get 3 stars on each level, you can replay the level as much as you want and there are bonus rounds between sets where you get a bunch of free-throws. There is an international leaderboard but I don't think I'll be on that list any time soon, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Back to Raincliff to find a missing journalist on assignment to find proof that people are actually living in Raincliff. What she finds is, well invisible people! Who doesn't love Mystery Trackers? The first thing you will notice when you start this game is quality, pure and simple, quality, every little detail, every cut-scene every hidden object game, quality! Elf is back! That cute little canine detective that can squeeze into the tiniest of spaces and drag out things twice his size. There are collectible morphs of those weird animals such as Textoad and there are plenty of achievements, most of them you will earn several of the same kind such as 5 mini games solved without skipping. This game has a new feature, a frost meter, you need to find things to warm your body temp along the way, you can turn this feature off if you desire. The mini games were surprisingly easy, interactive list finds and there is a small mini game in each one, you might have to bush buttons in a certain order for example. The mini games are good, my favorite one was having to turn dials 2L, 2R, 3L and 3R to make all the arrows pull out and light up, if you go the wrong direction the arrow will recede. There are 4 levels of difficulty, Casual, Advanced, Hardcore, and Detective which gives you absolutely no help or hints! Some inventory items will display a + sign indicating that further action may be needed. You find a camera that belonged to the journalist and when you play the first tape, a still picture comes out and you need to place that picture exactly where it was taken and that place will contain information that the journalist hid. I am certainly going to add this game to my Mystery Trackers library, you really need to give this one a try, enjoy!

I'm really starting to like these low budget hidden object adventures. This is a fantastic stand alone Standard Edition that has everything you need to thoroughly enjoy playing a game. The graphics are cartoonish, but super clear and HD quality. The music is what you would expect from a haunted castle (if I ever enter a haunted castle, there had better be some creepy music playing somewhere!) I was totally hooked from the beginning because they have crammed something to find or do in almost every inch of each scene, not to mention beautiful owls, birds, squirrel's and some very creepy skeleton cats and crows are everywhere! Almost every scene has a HO game and I will admit they are very easy interactive list finds but very well done. As I mentioned before, there are a ton of puzzles or mini games, some of which I haven't seen before such as matching the size of stars on the outside ring of a clock with the much smaller scaled stars on the face of the actual clock so that a beam of light shoots from each star to make a star in the middle. The hint button will show you the scene itself and the inventory action that needs to take place. I have enjoyed the demo so much that I plan on taking advantage of today's sale. You should really consider this game, I know a lot of people will pass this one over but it worth your time to give it a try, I know you're gonna love it too, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

A woman named Lisa Wang enters Alex's office to warn him that someone is going to kill him, and then quickly leaves with no other information. Alex was a former cop who opened up his own investigation office, so together with his partner Vinny, they follow Lisa to figure out who she is and why she has the information of an alleged murder plot. The problem with this game is that every room you search is only half lit and the items you search for are so small that they are unrecognizable. If they would have simply made the rooms brighter and only had you searching for normal sized items, this game would have been great. One of the items to search for was a paperclip! There were a few words spelled incorrectly which I find unacceptable, pay someone 5 bucks to proofread, I'd do it. There were mini games as well such as sorting film reels into alphabetical order. This game had good quality trailers and cut scenes, had an interesting storyline and interesting characters, it's only real fault or downfall was the almost impossible to find small dimly lit list finds.
I don't recommend this game.

In my opinion there were a lot of items that were impossible to find, and I never could figure out how the item finder worked. It was however a really nice hidden object game with a side of adventure. Your goal is to find out if a treasure really exists or if the letter somebody sent you is a hoax. If real, the Civil War treasures would be an awesome addition to your museum. You will search library's and even the Empire State Building for clues. Some items you find will be kept in your toolbox to help you throughout the game, such as brushes and hammers. I would have loved this game if the items were a tad bit more recognizable, some items were just too small.
I recommend this game!

Another wonderful jigsaw puzzle game with a slight hint of Valentines Day. I say slight hint because most of the pictures are of animals and landscapes, but there are also candy hearts, flowers, balloons and the usual Valentine gift items as well. There are 4 boxes of puzzles and each box has 125 different puzzles, that should keep you busy for a long time. There are 7 trophies or achievements to earn and you can keep tract of your top scores as well. There is a modify feature that allows you to customize any puzzle with exactly how many pieces you want and exactly how the cut or shape of the puzzle pieces are. You can ghost the image onto the background or hang up the picture on the left corner (or none at all) You can choose whether or not to have the pieces rotate, choose border only to start with and you can store extra pieces in the box until there is more space available. There is an auto sort option, a magnifying glass, and a hint feature. You can choose from 4 different colors for the background and control the music and sound, but I like to turn the music off and turn my own music on the computer so I always have music I like, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I bought this game when it was first released, and re-played the game today. This is one of those games that you can do that because it doesn't seem dated or old and certainly not boring even though I have completed this game before. You are searching for your fiance who went diving and never returned. You discover a strange and beautiful underwater facility, unfortunately it has been taken over by some strange and evil beings called the Legates. This game is pretty easy, most of the items you need will be found nearby, you find a map of the facility but you cannot use it to travel from scene to scene, you'll have to do that old school style. The HOS are slightly interactive, most are list finds but there are also find several of the same items as well as finding fragments that match the picture and when all pieces are found it makes a useful item such as a ladle. You can choose to play a game of Domino's instead of HO, you match pictures on the domino's by right clicking and turning the domino with the goal being to place matching domino's over all of the tree logos on the board. There are achievements to earn and some of the achievements involve the domino game so if you are the type of player who has to earn all of the achievements, you may want to play both games. The mini games are pretty easy such as placing a red, green, blue and yellow wire into the correct connections labeled with different shapes with the goal being to match the shape combination as shown under that specific color. I really enjoyed playing this game, twice, you should give it a try, enjoy!
I recommend this game!
