A game that fantasy world fans will enjoy. I did not. Somehow a girl named Amy is in posession of a pendant that will save the fantasy world as well as the real world from the Dark Lord who has already killed the King and is taking over otherworlds. Classic good versus evil plot with glowing mushrooms and cute fuzzy makebelieve animals! Lots of bright pink and purple colors. I don't like HO's that have the player travel to several different locations, with several areas requiring an action of sorts but you have nothing in your inventory and nothing to do but go to the next and the next scene. This game does have a map in which to travel to different locations which is a plus, and the HO's are somewhat interactive.
I don't recommend this game.

Played the demo and planning to buy! You will love this game as well. This game has a little bit of everything.. Creepy villian, evil jester clown puppet, missing teenagers, classic books with portals, and thats just in the demo! The HO's are reversed where you are given the item in your inventory and you have to place them into the scene. The puzzles are entertaining not difficult but the kind that makes you think, swapping pieces to make a portrait, dividing equal weights on a scale, moving a figure through a maze with specific number of moves etc. The inventory items you collect throughout the game does require going back and forth a bit,(map available) but it is easy to figure out where they go and what they are used for. So play on easy mode and relax or go for hardcore either way I'm sure you will enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I have to admit I was entertained by this game. I didn't play the first Mirror Mystery but I don't think it matters. Tommy found an evil mirror that had been broken and hidden away since he was a boy. After reassembling and entering the mirror realm Tommy goes missing and his sister goes to find him. You search for mirror shards throught the game and it is loaded with HO's of a different kind. You must find parts of an object then use that assembled part on the scene (such as a screwdriver) to uncover another piece to complete before getting the last item for your inventory. Even though it wasn't a typical "list" HO, it was actually a little challenging to find the items. The mirror realm itself is a little on the wierd side and almost like a childs cartoon.
I recommend this game!

This game was just okay for me. There are no HO scenes, only items to find and use along the way, most of which are used almost immediatly. The puzzles are extremly easy such as swapping tiles or moving puzzle pieces, nothing even remotely challenging. The game is about a detective trying to nab an unruly and evil looking clown ( who is always one step ahead) because a woman named Sarah had been attacked and robbed of the evidence she had collected about her husbands murder on a live television show. The dialog is written in boxes that you have to click to continue and the graphics are good but more cartoonish than realistic. I recommend this game only as a game to keep you busy or while waiting on a better game to come along.
I recommend this game!

I played this demo on the hard setting and I really can't tell you what is going on in the story. It begins in a "new" world where there are floating rocks and a blimp controlled by machines that need power to run. You get this power by searching for items in various hidden object scenes. The HO's as well as the puzzles are super easy and not much fun. I was often confused as to what I was supposed to do or where I was supposed to go next. I felt an obligation to finish this demo to give my honest opinion of the game, however the game froze about half way through and I was glad I didn't have to finish!
I don't recommend this game.

I just finished playing the demo and I will probably buy it. Dark Canvas: A Brush With Death has a really good storyline about a father who goes looking for his daughter who has vanished in Italy while visiting a famous artist that paints pictures of the future. The townspeople are frightened by a mysterious dark figure known as the sillouette! People are just vanishing! The graphics are good and the HO's are interactive (open a book to find a flask for example) the puzzles are not to hard and are enjoyable. Some of the HO's are in the same place. This is a relaxing game that most level of gamers will enjoy.
I recommend this game!

I played this demo when it first came out in CE and didn't purchase until a sale on this game in SE tempted me to buy. I wish I would have gotten the collectors edition because I love the feature of searching for "special" hidden objects throughout the game with added achievments as well and this version didn't have either. With that being said this game was still fun to play with wonderful graphics and a really good storyline. I liked the fact that as a psychic delves deeper and deeper into "Jane Doe's" mind you get a different setting to play in such as a desert, an oasis,a house,a town etc. Very clever way to be able to use different scenery. The HO's are very well done and puzzles are somewhat challenging. It also has a map for traveling and checks off the areas that have been completed. Overall this is a good game to purchase.
I recommend this game!

First of all this game has beautiful graphics that look very real and cut scenes that are of movie quality. The HO's are difficult because objects are hidden well, but I am personally tired of finding the pipe the umbrella the hammer the rope the feather etc in 10 seconds or less. The only complaint I have is that I traveled to many different places all over the game but had nothing to pick up or do. Then I would re-visit a location to find the item I needed in another HO.
I recommend this game!

This game has a lot going for it, good story, creepy vibe, good graphics (a little too dark) lots of HO's with interactive, open a drawer or pull a cover to find extra hidden objects and puzzles that are fun but require a little patience. Built in strategy guide but the hint system works well too. Gamers at any level will enjoy this game.

I am a huge fan of Phantasmat and this sequel was well done. The graphics are excellent, character voices very well done and you dont have to play the first one to know the story(but you'll want to play the original after this) A great story about a skier caught in an avalanche and finds a town with lot's of secrets! Beautiful HO's and puzzles. You will want to add this to your collection.
I recommend this game!
