when I first started playing this game, I thought I was going to hate it because of the fragmented objects you have to find which are relatively hard to see. (If you have poor vision, you may not appreciate this aspect of the game) However, 10 to 15 minutes into the game I was hooked and did not stop playing. I loved the story, the puzzles, adventure, and the final chapter was really beautiful and creative. Been a while since I played it, but it left an impression and was worth every penny.
I recommend this game!

If you are a Hidden objects game lover, then this game is for you, because that's pretty much all it is. I prefer balance of puzzles, HOs, and adventure, so I would NOT recommend this game. The sound track was pretty cool, made me feel like I was in France. Premature Burial was the best one in the series.
I don't recommend this game.

In my opinion, this is the second best game in the series. I prefer Premature burial to this and Rue Morgue. Still, it's a good game and worth the purchase. Hidden Object lovers will appreciate it.
I recommend this game!

Such a fun game, loved it. It's definitely my favorite one out of the series with a good balance of adventure/HO/puzzles. Great story, graphics, voice overs and play. Highly recommend. Black cat and Rue morgue were bugged down with a lot more hidden object games which i didn't care for....I like balance and get burnt out on pure H.O.s
I recommend this game!

Very reminiscent of Saw movies. So if you like that kind of stuff, this is right up your alley. Been a while since i played it, but the puzzles were good, its a dark game not only in storyline, but also color/brightness on your screen. Would recommend if you like the psycho/serial killer premise.
I recommend this game!

Not a bad game....slightly above average. Kept my interest the whole time, and the puzzles were decent. It has a good compilation of spooky sound effects, but It wasn't a game that left an impression. So, if you purchase, it will be entertaining. If you don't, you're not missing much.

I really enjoyed this game. Everything from the story line to the balance of adventure/puzzles to how the game flowed overall, worked for me. There are no voice overs which actually was a plus, because it added to the atmosphere of the game. Would definitely recommend.

This game is not one that I would recommend to those who have been playing for a while. The story started out interesting, but quickly became transparent and predictable which in turn made the game drag out because you knew what was going to happen and just going through the motions. Yawn. I will say that the HO scenes were not cluttered, but the objects in them were very nicey camouflaged so that it still offered some challenge.
