I tried this game the day it came out. There were larger than usual pics to color on the first level, which of course took more time to do. I tried to finish the first level so I could check out the pics on the next one but I didn't quite make it. So I decided not to buy it. No pigs in a poke for me. Then this eve I checked again, saw the sale, and decided to read the comments. I saw where someone said if you finish the last pics it opens the levels. Hmmm. That changed my mind, and I wanted to see if it worked. I own the Modern Art 2 and it didn't work on that one. So seeing the sale I bought it. Went directly to the last pic, colored it, and sure enough, it works. Thank you, 'I forget your name', for the heads up. I hadn't planned on buying any more of Modern Art because you had to color pics you disliked just to get to the next level. Why? Why do the developers do that??. It makes one wonder if they don't want us to be able to see all the pics. This one, # 4, has some really nice pictures, but so many not so good ones. Of course it's a matter of personal taste, so now I'm glad I get to see all the pictures. The textures in the colors are very cool. I'd like to see bright scenery and more with people in them. People doing things. Wish I had the job of choosing pics to color. lol I just gave this one three stars because there's more uninteresting pictures than I like to color. However, I enjoy these different color by #'s. Very relaxing, and enjoyable to see the finished colorings. I do have one other thing to say, and that is I wish the finished pictures stayed on the screen longer so I could see the larger finished one longer. I leave a tiny spot to color just so I can view the finished pic to look at it longer, before I fill the spot in.
I recommend this game!

I was glad to see another match 3, especially one that these developers put out. But, it's not a buy for me. Way too busy; So much going on that it's hard to keep track of what's what. I have all of their games except one, and that one was the one right before this one. I didn't buy it either for the same reason. Imo Jewel Match Royale is the best of all. I've played it numerous times and never tire of it. It has a great story line and even though there's a lot to it it isn't super busy, I love the building aspect, too. In any case, I'm disappointed in this new one. I hope their next one won't have so much glitter and glam to it.
I recommend this game!

I bought this a few months ago from another game site, and they also have Modern Art 4, 5, and 6, but I'm holding off until Big Fish gets those before I buy them. Makes sense since I'm a member of BF and not the other one. There are some very nice pictures in this one, but also some not so nice. About half and half. I'd like to see less pictures of single objects and more of scenery and pics with people and animals in them. And how thrilling is it to color a setting of dishes, or food??Boring. And more than a few of these scenery pics are too dark. I'd like to see more color. I like that you don't have to complete each level before playing the next, but you do have to color the first levels to go on. Don't they want us to see the other pictures before buying? I do admit that I haven't colored ALL the pics in this one simply because I didn't like them. I also wish they'd make the number big when you put your cursor on the spot. It's done on other color by #'s and it's a good feature. In any case I do own this one the the first two as well. It's relaxing to me to color these and I'm glad they're on the market. I'm getting burned out on HOG's and card games. I love match 3 but there haven't been really good ones lately. I see a lot of Time Management on here, and to be honest I can't understand why anyone would like those. But, to each his own. Now I'm hoping to see the other Modern Arts show up here since they are already in the market.
I recommend this game!

I would have bought this in a heart beat if it had a magnifying glass. A lot of the objects are too small to find without one. So I'm passing on this one. Please add a magnifying glass on these!

I found this very boring and tedious. I'll stick to Modern Art, Art by Numbers, etc. I only 'colored' four of the pics on the first level, then I quit. Just didn't enjoy it at all.

These Paint by Numbers just keep getting worse in spite of the fact that we've commented how bad the earlier ones were. You'd think they would pay attention to that and make it better. But no. On this one the pictures leave a lot to be desired and I can't believe how bad the coloring is on them. I own quite a few of them but I definitely won't be buying this one. Even if I have a freebie coming I wouldn't use it for this one. It's awful. I really liked the Modern Art one and I hope to see more of that. I've also bought several of the Art By Numbers, and they aren't too bad, even though they don't have enough good pictures, but the coloring is good on most. In any case, I won't waste my money on this one. Too bad, because I enjoy coloring by #'s.
I don't recommend this game.

I bought this game on another site not long ago, hoping that all the levels wouldn't be locked up, having to finish each one before opening the next one. Well, they were locked. That's a shame because it had many other good features. Some of the pics were better, although there were many I didn't like or want to color. But we had no choice in the matter. I also like that you can color them with whatever colors you want, and the colors all had textures. That makes for a nicer picture. But alas, I won't be buying the Art By Numbers any longer because of all the levels being locked up. I wouldn't mind if only one or two levels were locked, like the other color by #'s but I want the choice. Are they worried that we won't buy the game if we see all the pictures right off?? Yes, they do need better pictures, but they had some really nice ones, too. But there were many that were once again a single object with designs all over them, no background. Why would I want to color just the head of an animal covered with designs, instead of seeing the whole animal against a nice scenery? Too many single objects in this one. just like the first one. It's too bad, because I really enjoy online coloring. So far, the one titled Modern Art is the best one, imo. All those levels were unlocked after the first one was finished. And the Paint By Numbers opened all the levels after finishing the first two. So, what's the deal with Art By Numbers??

What an improvement of coloring by #'s, compared to all the others. Those are Paint By Numbers, & Art By Numbers. I found this one, Modern Art, by chance this eve when I was going through puzzles. I'm so glad I did! First of all, you only have to complete the first level to open all the rest, the colors all have textures on them, which really makes for prettier pictures, and the pictures are SO much better, imo. They all, are not just single objects with designs all over; they have backgrounds, which most of the other color by #'s games do not. I really like this one! Thank you, Big Fish! I'm keeping my eye out for others.
I recommend this game!

Oh boy, a match 3! Always glad to see my fav games, but not this on!. Too much like older match 3's. Too much talking, too. Thankfully you can skip all that. I gave this game an honest shot, thinking maybe it would get better, but it didn't, As for building anything, they do it for you; you have no choices. Sorry, it's a no win for me.
I don't recommend this game.

I enjoy these color by #'s but I'm not sure I want to buy them anymore. Every thing is good except the pictures, and with this the pictures are the most important. I can think of many good pictures, but alas, I don't work for them. lol It's NO FUN coloring a single object that has a bunch of designs on it. There's a few with people in them, and those are really nice, but not enough of those. What's wrong with nice scenery's, or animals in the woods etc, ?? In here there are many animals and birds, but they stand alone with way too many designs on them. And once again, I am astounded at some of the bad coloring. Does a very young child color these?? One good thing about this is that once you finish the first two levels all the other levels open up. I do wish they'd do that from the beginning, though. No way can you color two levels in the length of the demo time to see what else you're getting. I had a freebie coming and that's how I got this one. And in checking out the rest of the pictures in the other levels I couldn't believe there were so many bad ones. I don't mind coloring designs, but not when they're all over a single object. And wow...too many tiny things to color. Please give us better pictures!
