I am a huge Park Ranger series fan. This game is not as good as Park Ranger but filled the gap nicely while I wait for the next Park Ranger game to come out.

Mystery Case Files: The Dalimar Legacy may have gotten the fantastic series back on track. Lots of little puzzles to work on and a very good story line. Just a wee bit short on the length though.

Lost Lands: Sand Captivity knocked it out of the park and showed us why this series is one of the best HOGs out there. Stunning animation, interactive hidden object scenes, great story line and intriguing tricky puzzles.

The SE contains morphs and collectibles to find: very nice addition. If you hear a morph sound in the screen you are at look for one, they can be difficult to find.
The game is extremely pleasant to play. Graphics are good and so is the design.
The Hidden Object scenes are fantastic and too are very pleasant. There are no standard word lists.
One star off due to the feeling that it could have been a little bit longer.

Fantastic game! Loved the challenge involved unlike the HOG games over the past several years that have taken away challenge altogether. There is a programming flaw however in the jigsaw puzzles and drop my review to 4 stars because of this. The pieces can leave a gray shade on the board where they once lay disturbing the visual of one's board making it more difficult to see where pieces may go. Recommendation: Test before production.

I may have given 4 stars if this was not MCF but give it 3 stars because it was. Fans of the series probably understand. The game keeps you interested with fresh art and ideas. But I am playing as a Master Detective and expect a level of challenge that just was not there.

Fun and one looks continuously for items in the environment rather than HO scenes. Also look for optional puzzle pieces to solve small jigsaws and learn more about the story. Contains many various puzzles with a couple I label as difficult.

Great game that does not feel like a rehash or already done this before. Has some nice and different puzzles. In case you are wondering, there are voices too.
