I really love this game and hope to see many more of them. If I may, I would like to suggest some improvements on top of the ones already made: Like the 3rd game in this series (HOTK3), I would like to see the resources continuously renew themselves. I realize that OCD people will find this stressful; but for those of us who don't, it's great. If you need the resources, collect them or leave them for later. If possible, I would like to have the option to turn the storyline off or on as I play these games multiple times and would like to not have to hear the story again once I have played it once. The conversations with the individuals we have to have obviously, but the other we don't. Thanks so much for listening.

I hadn't played this series for quite a while because it was so hard. I especially hated those fires that grew and grew and grew before you could extinguish them. I decided to try this game once again, and I am so glad I did. It was challenging, but I was able to get three stars on all levels in Easy. Some of the levels had to be played a few times to get three stars, but I not only got the three stars but know I can do so again. This was fabulous! Thanks so much for listening to our comments and improving the game.

I read all of the negative reviews but decided to try the game anyway. I'm sorry, but I don't agree with those other reviews at all. Yes, there is talking but no more than normal. You have to have some narrative in order to know what's going on. When I finish the trial period without feeling like I'm forcing myself to do so, then that is a pretty game. I really think most people will find this a fairly good game. Try it. I think you'll like it.

I love this game. It's challenging enough but doable. Not only can you figure it out and get three stars, but you can repeat it. I've played some games where you can finally get three stars after a dozen tries and then can't repeat it. That's why this is so important to me. This is FABULOUS! I definitely recommend it.
This is a great game, but I wish they didn't make it so hard!

I think this would have been a game I would have bought and enjoyed because it was a little different and fun. The only problem is that it's so hard! Come on, when you can only get one star on the third level, isn't that a little ridiculous? I played the level two or three times to get that. Who in the world are you having to beta test these? Freaks of nature? That's really a shame, but there it is. Sorry!

I really liked the many changes in this version of the series. However, I didn't like the difficulty level. I can normally get gold on all levels but not on this game. I started out in Normal mode and finally gave up. I went to Easy and finally gave up. I then went to Relaxed, which I don't really like for this type of game as I do like some challenge. However, no matter what I did, I could not get gold on at least half of the levels. Not only that, my game kept crashing. I removed and reinstalled the game and got the same thing. I do like this series, but I do hope the developers will remember the next time that not all of are as fast as they are.
I only played the trial but really enjoyed it. I'll wait for the regular version. I'm really writing this review to see if anyone else caught what I would call a "blooper". The young man that comes out and says he has to go protect his fiance then gets in what sounds like a car, starts it up and speeds away. Considering this in the late-1800's or early-1900's when they drove a horse and buggy, how could he speed away in a car? Listen and see if I'm not right. I know I am. Funny!
I enjoyed the first game and this second game until I came to the bonus levels. I always choose the regular mode of play, so I was surprised when the bonus levels had a message warning that those were going to be hard. Now, if I purposely chose the normal mode, do you think I want "hard mode" for the bonus, especially since I would have paid extra for it if I hadn't gotten the special? Use some sense. It's no fun when levels are so hard you can't get three stars on them. Forget the CE as it's a waste. Just buy the regular version as that part is worth it. Now that is really fun.

I liked the first game in this series but found some of the levels a little too difficult. This one is perfect. Until I figured out the trick to levels 34 and 44, I would have said it was almost perfect. When I watched a person play level 34 on YouTube and saw the bombs the enemy threw not exploding, I knew there was a trick there. You couldn't tell what the person was doing, but I decided to click really fast before the bomb exploded. That was the trick. After that, I not only won these levels but had time to spare. I don't know if I missed the instructions telling me that, but at least I figured it out eventually. Wonderful, wonderful game!
The legendary hero Hercules and his wife Megara are back, ready to embark on their next adventure! Restore the world's beauty and save Mother Nature from destruction!
I have to say that I have played all of this series and enjoyed them for the most part. The first one was very hard, so that one I didn't like so much. The subsequent games have not been hard at all. My guess is that individuals commented on the first game, so the developers listened and fixed the problem. Unfortunately, the games are too easy now. There are a few levels that are somewhat challenging; but for the most part, the levels are so easy that it takes no strategy to beat them at all. If I could ask one thing, please make future games a little more challenging. I found myself playing this last game because I bought it and not because I enjoyed it. If you fix the challenge part without making it as difficult as the first game, then I will once again want to play these.
