I loved this game!!!!! It's a great break from the games developers are putting out now. No cute animal helpers. No fairy tale plot lines. Just a good old fashioned "who done it". With a bit of a ghostly side line, but not enough to make it repetitive. The plot line is really good. It kept me on my toes throughout the game. And the bonus chapter was really cool too. Just enough to hint at more hidden secrets that you don't know. It's kinda dark and a bit disturbing, but all around a fun game. The running around was a bit trying at times, but is made up for with a teleporting map. The graphics were nice, no overly done color schemes. The puzzles were not hard but a bit original too. I am anxiously awaiting another game of this series.
I recommend this game!

I don't know why lots of people didn't like this game, but I loved it. I really didn't have any of the problems that the tech forum described. I really loved the new feature with the rooms. I know most of the reviewers said they didn't like it but I found it interesting. It seemed to be a bit challenging as far as the HOS were concerned. I found the mini games a little too easy for a Grim Tales game. My only complaint is there were too many different collectables. I really don't like games that are overloaded with them. They seem to distract form the game play. But over all I ABSOLUTLY LOVED IT
I recommend this game!

I normally don't write reviews, but I feel a need to share my opinion on this one. I love the Maestro series but this latest installment is a big disappointment. The challenge level was very poor. I finish both the game and bonus chapter in 2 hours. The graphics are very good as normal. But the mini games and HOS are child's play. The story line in the main story is ok but not very full. It leaves a lot unexplained. The bonus chapter's story line makes no sense at all. I hope the next game in this series will be better I hate to let go of a series I've come to love.
